    Home Inspection

    I've heard so many horror stories about home inspectors that I was still nervous even after seeing all the great reviews regarding Classic Home Inspections. In the end, Brent was professional, open to questions and very thorough. There's no question he's good at what he does, but I think what really stands out is the fact that he cares about the quality of job he does and that you're satisfied (not often found in any profession!). I'll be recommending Classic Home Inspections to friends and family!

Yes, there is a lot to know, but hey, it is all very easy to understand. It was interesting with your case. The issue of the knob and tube wiring, it seemed everyone wanted to downplay it. Not that it cannot be replaced, but at who's cost. I may be wrong, but I thought the home was being sold with "updated" wiring. Knob and tube is not updated wiring. Fortunately, there was not much. However, it was obviously an issue with your insurance company. Anyway, I hope all worked out in the end, it was a very nice home!     Home Inspection

    As first time home buyers, we appreciated Brent's friendly demeanour, willingness to answer our many questions, and his straightforward professionalism. He knew what he was talking about, and he made sure we understood everything as well. He was very approachable. We walked away from the inspection with his report in our hands, and the same night we had all of his photos emailed to us. We have absolutely no complaints about Brent or the service he provided.

    inspection

    Had a home inspection. Older, century home. Inspector very thorough and walked us through the inspection. very friendly and helpful. answered all of our questions. would recommend this inspector to friends and family.

    Home Inspection

    Brent did a great job and was very thorough. At the end of the inspection, he walked me through all of the potential issues, provided me with a thick binder outlining all aspects of the house and later sent me a bunch of jpegs for my files. Worth every penny. I highly recommend Brent to anyone who might need his services.

    Home Inspection

    Brent did a great job. He was right on time, very knowledgable, and very open to questions. He literally gives you a binder of information about his inspection. What he found, possible problems, and even provides pictures of almost everything. He made the whole process quite painless and even enjoyable. Thank you.

    Home Inspection

    Brent was very thorough during our home inspection. We just purchased a century home that had recently been renovated and were afraid the renos were simply a cover-up. Brent identified several things that could easily have been replaced by the seller during the renos, but instead were left (e.g. knob and tube wiring throughout the upstairs where there had been extensive renos, no plumbing/electric hook-up for new dish-washer, mold in newly added mud room which was discovered behind a strategically placed 2x4, bathroom venting into attic instead of outside...). Because of Brent's home inspection we were able to reduce our offer price and still get the house!!! Thanks Brent!!!

As they didn't know it was there. I always find that stuff amusing (even though I'm sure the you don't), how creative people can be by trying to cover something up. What's the point, it only makes me more suspicious when inspection the home. That is great you were able to use the inspection to your advantage when negotiating the price of the home.     House Inspection

    Classic Home Inspections review ratings set quite high expectations right from the start and I must say that Brent matched the expectations 100% - 10 out of 10! He was on-time, very professional, took great care explaining all his findings and providing very useful advice and recommendations. His attention to details was truly excellent. He left no stone unturned. Inviting Brent to do my house inspection has been an excellent experience, I will definitely call him next time.     Home Inspection

    It has been a long overdue, Brett did a home inspection for us in August 2010 during a very hot day, but he is very committed with checking the exterior of our house. He found out issues on the roof which would have cost us grief in a long run if we were not aware of it. I am very impressed with his attention to detail and an excellent service.

You know, it is always the small things that can lead to much bigger problems if it is not addressed. I will mention things to people on an inspection (not necessarily in your case) where I will give them a "heads up" on something simple, they don't address it, and sure as heck six months after moving in they get problems.     Home inspection

    We bought a 4-plex unit in Roncesvalles, which was a 100 year old + building and needed a thorough home inspection done.

    Brent did our home inspection for a very old 4 plex that we bought. We were concerned about the roof, foundation, mould, windows, etc, and Brent was thorough, detailed and honest in his assessment. His report back to us in person and on paper was informative and a high quality product. Plus, his personality, cost and approach to the job were all amazing and above satisfactory. We would reccomend him to any homebuyers, especially first time ones like us.
