Home Inspection
Brent came out to do a home inspection for a potential house we were interested in. With the help of Brent's thorough inspection, we were able to make the right decision. Would definately use this company again and would highly recommend. Thanks Brent!

It really is too bad about the end result. As I told you at the beginning of the inspection, many houses with new renos can look great, but an inspectors job it to look completely past that and inform you if it has been done properly or not. In the case of this home, the result was not good. However, like I told you, I cannot keep anything from you and have to be honest with you. Home Inspection
Brent did a thorough job on a home inspection on our new house. He was personable and knowledgable as well as thorough. Brent was punctual, reviewed the entire house in the amount of time that he said he would as well as completed a follow up. I would highly recommend Classic Home Inspections!

Home inspection
Brent was an amazing person to work with, very forthcoming and honest with his inspection and didn't cut any corners. I was a little worried as all his reviews give him a 10 out of 10, I thought there is no way someone could be that good but he really does deserve the feedback! I found him to be professional, thorough, and unbiased. While I am not sure if I am going to purchase the home after finding the faults he had found, I know that the next inspection I get will be through him. Thanks Brent!

It was a nice home, but isn't it funny when people try to hide issues regarding the home? All that money thrown into the home and no one bothers to fix the leaky basement. Could you imagine how wet, and how much mold will be down there after this spring? I'm sure the homeowner knows, seeing they strategically placed boards in front of it. Home Inspection for First-time Buyer
Brent at Classic Home Inspections was wonderful. He arrived early, paid attention to all of my concerns and addressed each of my issues. He was thorough and returned my results on the the same day as the inspection. He identified the possible problems with the home in a straight forward and open manner and offered advice to remedy them. He crawled into each nook and cranny in the home, and would not leave an area until we were both satisfied that there was nothing left to uncover. He prioritized a list of list of repairs and was a gentle and effective guide to the whole process. The purchase of a home is among the most important decisions you will ever enter into. You owe it to yourself to get the best inspection available and Classic Home Inspections offers just that; The best!

I do not want to be like the guy on TV running around having everyone in a panic about things. I just simply explain the facts. Sometimes things are small issues, sometimes they are bigger issues. Home Inspection (pre-purchase) Part Deux
Well here I am again. Leaving another review for Clasic Home Inspections. Hopefully my last for a long time. This home inspection started much like the first. Brent showed up early and got right to work. This house looked to be in MUCH better shape but that didn't stop Brent from looking just as hard as the first house. He found a few issues that I am sure many would have missed and a pretty serious (but simple to fix) safety issue. On the weight of his report I have decided to proceed with this purchase. I will sleep well at night knowing I had a professional like Brent doing my home inspection!

Home Inspection
Brent did a fantastic job on the home inspection. He was punctual, personable, and very knowledgeable. He was even willing to travel to Hamilton to perform the inspection. He took numerouse pictures, and was very helpful in allowing me, a first time homebuyer, to be a part of the process. He explained everything in detail, and took his time during the inspection. He paid attention to detail and was very helpful to us in making an informed decision. Home Inspection (pre-purchase)
Classic Home Inspections did an incredible job for me. The inspector showed up on time and got right to work. He spent 3.5 hours and gave the house a very thorough exam. As a tradesman myself I thought I had a solid grasp on what the house needed when I made my offer and was surprised at what I had missed. Brent was on the roof, in the attic and in the crawl space. Not a stone was left unturned. Long story short Brent presented me with a very detailed report which allowed me to decide for myself not to make a $20,000 mistake and walk away from the deal. On a personal note Brent is a very friendly person, as honest as the day is long and there can be no question to his personal integrity. I am so happy with the service I received that I am using Brent again on my next home inspection tomorrow!

Very highly recommended for any of your home inspection needs!!
We purchased a house in the Durham region and our 1 year Tarion warranty period is coming up. We decided that we should hire a professional home inspector to go over our property to help us outline any items or outstanding issues that we may not have noticed. Let's be honest, this industry is one of the trickiest fields to find someone who is 100% professional and actually knows what they are doing. Since we had success with HomeStars before (for a house painter), we decided to use this site again to find one. Classic Home Inspections appears on the top of the list. People are more prone on the internet to post negative comments about their experiences with contractors and such. Hence, after reviewing a lot of the positive comments that people took the time to write about Brent's services (as well as Brent taking the time to respond to them), we decided to hire him...and we are glad we did. He arrived promptly on time (if not a little early) and went over our house from the roof right to the basement (and everything in between). He allows (and in fact encourages you) to follow him around as he does his work...and I personally learned a lot of things about our home as well as the home builder industry in general (let's just say that certain areas of the GTA have more issues with home builders than others). At the end of the 4 hour inspection (for a 1900 ft sq. home), we were presented with a binder with everything about our home, the Tarion Warranty forms with the issues already noted and filled out....and we received later that evening all the photos (about 100 in all) via email. Brent has earned every review he has received here.....and he has definitely earned ours as well. He will be the one I will recommend to anyone who asks. In fact, just do yourself a favour.....just scroll up and contact him....you won't be disappointed.

You are so correct, it is so easy to have something negative to say about someone or a company, but people seem reluctant to say something nice. That is why these reviews are so humbling and appreciated. You just simply don't know how much I truly appreciate when people take the time to leave these nice reviews. In regards to your comment on the home inspection field being the "trickiest", I think a better term would be "pathetic", at least that's my thoughts. I mean really, an "unregulated" industry? Better yet, all these home inspectors are running around telling people they are "certified" or "licensed", my next question is by who? There are more organizations in the home inspection industry than you can possibly imagine. Most, if not 99% of them are just some two bit operation just so inspectors can say they are "licensed". Home Inspection
We just recently bought a home and it was our first ever. I had no clue as to where to get a home inspector that would be good. I decided to do a google search and low and behold I came across this website and Brent was highly rated and I read the testimonials. I was thinking with the awards and all the people's comments I can't go wrong. Sure enough, we were not dissapointed at all. Brent is thorough and shows that he cares for what he does. totally worth the cost. THANK YOU BRENT for making this so easy for us. Cheers :)

Home Inspection
Very happy with the inspection I had done, and would recommend without hesitation. Brent was very accommodating despite his busy schedule and got my inspection done only a day or so after we first spoke. He was very thorough, took his time, and was more than willing to answer all my questions as he went. Thanks Brent for a great job!
