The installers did not leave till the furnace and water heater installation was completed and functional. Despite technical problems the technicians had laugh and did not get stressed.They worked late into the evening to make sure everything was working. Great guys.

I recently had a new hot water heater installed on a rental basis with a small installation fee. The service was quick and efficient. However the heater had a defect. When the installer tried testing he blew out two electrical outlets in the room.The first technician who came to find and fix the problem didn't know much, took a long time to find the problem and ended up jerry fixing it. He wouldn't even look at the problem with the outlets. I had contacted customer service to try to get an emergency call because one of the outlets was running my refrigerator. I asked to be escalated to customer care and was told that I would be put in a queue for service within 24 hours. 24 hours passed and nothing happened so I phoned back and learned that I had never spoken to customer care directly and that nothing had been done about arranging an emergency call. Here comes the good news. I lucked out by speaking to an agent who said she would jump on this issue right away and within one hour i received a call from a field manager. He promised to look in to the matter and would call me back within the hour. 30 minutes later he was back to me. By this time it was early evening. He said he was going to try to get a technician out that very evening and sure enough he called back again to say not only did he have a technician on the way but he himself was going to come to make sure that I was looked after properly. He drove 45 minutes at 9 pm at night. Although the service at the front line was not great, once I got to customer care and up to the field manager it was truly amazing. And the fact that I was able to have it successfully escalated that far, doesn't happen too often with very large companies. The lesson learned here is that Direct Energy is truly a wonderful company to deal with as long as you have availability to the customer care department when needed. In the end, I received impeccable service.

The service provided by the two gentleman sent to clean the air ducts were very professional and clean. This was a great service ! ! Thank you Direct Energy !

Brian performed a very thorough maintenance. He explained everything to me. He takes pride in his work and l felt confident that he was truly interested in protecting my investment in my 2 year old furnace that l purchased from Direct Energy.

Both technicians who were assigned to replace my heat exchanger, Alex and his supervisor Serge, were both absolutely excellent - in all aspects of customer service. They were extremely knowledgeable and ensured they took the time required to explain what they were going to do, and answer all my questions. They were 100% respectful of my home, courteous & friendly. I did indeed feel like a valued customer. And bonus : they arrived right at the scheduled time! Absolutely great service from these gentlemen. They should be commended!

I would like to commend in particular the service technician, Angelo R. He was prompt, extremely friendly and respectful, and did an incredible job of servicing our furnace. He was patient in explaining to me what he was doing at every stage, and even took time to hand clean various parts of the furnace housing. All the technicians who have come to the house in the past have been solid, but Angelo went that extra mile, and my wife and I are grateful.

The technician had a heavy accent and was sometimes difficult to understand. However, a very useful visit and l find the Direct Energy Protection plan to be very good value for the money. Thank you.

The 2 men who installed my new furnace, Mike and Dave, were very pleasant, knew their work and left very little mess behind. I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

The technician who came to our house ( Zihad ) was very personable, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. It was a pleasure to have him take care of our maintenance.
