    Maintenance checks-A/C, gas and hotwater tank

    Nicholas and Manu were excellent. Nicholas was training Manu. I have seen many training situations in my time and I must say, Nicholas is a gifted instructor. He was patient, professional and very thorough answering any and all questions. He explained things carefully enough that I picked up a few things with respect too maintenance. Both of these gentlemen are excellent and deserve praise for the great care that they take in doing their jobs to the highest degree of professionalism.

    Home Heating and Cooling Protection Plan

    I am a prior customer and the great service I received is why I am coming back. This small monthly amount ensures my furnace and air conditioner are protected and receive the proper maintenance to extend their life.

    Hot Water Tank rental price change

    ENERCARE broke the terms of our agreement for our hot water tank rental starting in 2014 and continuing into 2015 to this day. According to Enercare's insert document included with our bill they state the rate increase would be 2.5% more per month for 2014 and 2015. However Enercare in direct violation of thier own documentation illegally increased the rental rate by 5% in 2014 and 9.5% in 2015. Enercare broke the terms of the agreement and are in breach of the contract. Thier manager D P is now pretending to not understand how they are in breach of our agreement. After repeated emails back and forth with him and providing the documented evidence proof he still is pretending not to get it. We have tried to have this addressed by them repeatedly since 2016 to no avail. This is against the law and are refusing to address this issue by just issuing bogus denials of the facts. Truly a company worth avoiding.

    We tried working with another company before Enercare that will be the last time moving forward it will be all Enercare. The repairmen Claudio and Ryan were very helpful and professional.

    furnace motor

    Furnace stopped working NoV 2018. Came to fix within 48 hours. Fixed it but said motor part had to be replaced, they called to say part was in left message. Called them back on the weekend to arrange a time , they said would call first thing Monday never did. Call them back left message never returned call. Called again today April 2019 left message again!!!!

    Furnace maintenance

    The technician had to fix the duct connecting to the furnace and also notice that the furnace was a bit loud because of bearings; he ordered the new part and we'll come back to install it soon. He was was very good, friendly and explained everything very well. He also went beyond to fix a few thing for us, such has the filter tray.

    Cancelled Service

    We contacted Enercare to get a quote for a new furnace and hot water tank. Their response was slow for an initial consult and they never responded when we asked for quotes, despite a number of calls. We finally went with another service and replaced our furnace and hot water tank. Now I can't get them to stop billing for their protection plan to spite three phone calls indicating that we no longer want or need their service. Step are completely unable to take a call on the phone and provide any satisfactory action to spite the Plans Cancellation policy indicating a 90 day notice period after the first annual Anniversary Date.

    Furnace maintenance

    Great service. Very punctual. Changed setting re new thermostat for furnace that no previous service noticed (had for approx 5 yrs). Noticed need new lot of filters- all others are used.

    Enercare Plumbing Plan

    Stay away and save your money. They are useless. I called them for a clogged drain causing my basement toilet to overflow, and they gave me an appointment time three days later! Paid $300 for my own plumber. I sent a complaint in writing to Enercare, not even so much as a response. I cancelled the plan. Save yourself the hassle and use real plumbers.

    Boiler inspection and cleaning

    Norm (348) did an excellent job of inspecting and cleaning my older boiler. He recommended some replacement parts that are covered under my parts protection plan in order to prolong the life of my boiler and to ensure that it is operating at it maximum efficiency. Norm also shared knowledge on the operation of a boiler and how best to maintain the boiler and older radiators in my home. At my request, he also shared information about new boiler technologies that I could consider for my home in the future. In all, I was very satisfied with his efficient and effective service call.
