It was word of mouth that lead me to call Dodds Doors. I had heard their commercials, but I rely on the experience of friends mostly when picking service professionals. I called and spoke to a gentleman named Len. He asked me a few questions about my needs and then explained in detail his recommendations. He answered all my questions and I usually do have a lot of them! I needed a automatic door opener for a new home. A door-to-door salesman came by while we were moving in and pitched a slew of products from security systems and closet organizers to garage doors. He was too pushy and his price was lower than what Len was quoting me. But I had heard good things about Doods service and this Len guy made me feel real comfortable. So I decided to pay a bit more for the confidence in getting a good job done. There was still absolutely nothing in my garage so i had their installer visit while I was at work. Len said they would secure the garage when they were finished with a secret code that I could use to access the garage after work. They would leave information and the remote control for me in there. The installer called to let me know he was on his way and then I received a friendly email letting me know the job was done. When I got home later, I found everything to my satisfaction. The garage door system works beautifully. Very smooth and quiet. They even left the garage cleaner than I had left it! I recommend these guys!

Although Chris was likely "just doing his job" when he repaired my garage door this morning - I must say how refreshing it is to deal with employees who take pride in their work, are competent and efficient. Chris was all of those things and more. In a world where even regular decent customer service is all too rare my experience with this individual deserves to be recognized. Kudos to Chris and DODDS. Keep up the great work. And I will definitely recommend your company to friends and neighbors. My overall experience with Dodds was very good. Advertising themselves on the radio as the 'experts' raises consumer expectations and they met my expectations. What I was impressed with was their follow up on two issues: one that required a visit a week after installation and one around a year's time, when the service warranty had expired, but they honoured it. For once I can honestly say I found a company which was a pleasure to deal with, and I can tell you that I have had my share of bad ones. Right from my first phone call to set up an appointment with a sales person (Michael) and followed up with status update from (Angela) to the actual installer (Chris) you could not ask for more polite, efficient and professional people to deal with. Needed a new garage door in a hurry after a postal truck drove into mine. This company was professional and fast. Came the next day to give me a quote and had the installation complete in a few days. Would definitely use them again. Very little mess on the driveway and continued working with little off time. GreT JOB

We contacted 4 companies for quotes. All were about the same price but the sales person represented the company very well, describing step by step everything that would be done and how. He came with samples of the doors and hardware.

Chose Dodds to replace garage door based on reviews read here. Salesperson Laurie was very patient in answering all questions. He wilingly come by twice to clarify questions to show us additional options available. Installer Craig was over the top helpful. He explained the procedure, took down the old door and installed the new one efficiently and thoroughly. He even finished the garage door opener installation for no addtional charge. After work was completed, Craig explained and showed what was done and how to maintain it. I would definitely refer them to everyone.

This is the second time we have used Dodds, and once again we are very satisfied with their prompt and professional service. We needed a repair to our opener, and they were there that day, fixed it, and there have been no problems since. Wouldn't go anywhere else !

The two garage doors we ordered did not have the same number of square panels as discussed when ordering, but it was too late to change this once the doors were installed. The doors were also delivered several weeks late and I had to call to find out what was going on only to be told that they were sitting in the warehouse and someone had forgotten to call me. Once installed, the caulking around the trim was poorly done and the weatherstrip on one door was crooked. Despite regular email and telephone correspondance, nothing was done even though I was told several times someone would come by to fix the caulking and weatherstripping. I was very disappointed with the service once my money was collected. Their website boasts of excellent customer service and satisfaction, but I feel completely duped. Word of advice as far as the door appearance is concerned: make sure it is ALL in writing so that there are no surprises.

I would highly reccommend Dodds garage doors for their great service product and integrity. I had some garage doors installed by Dodds 4yrs ago that had some adhesive on them from the manufacture. After 1 yr they tried to clean them but they always had dirt. Four years later I contacted Dodds on how to get them clean, and to my surprise they replaced the doors for FREE. I would highly highly recommend this company. I am still amazed and greatful for such wonderful customer service and professionalism Thank you so much Dodds doors for offerning us such exceptional service and product. We are so happy! We highly recommend this company!! You will never find a company to stand behind their products like Dodds!!
