We had Dr Green last year and we were satisfied with there service but we were fiscally trying to cut down on our spending so we cancelled the service by phone call for this year. It states your call will be recorded , a few weeks later there was a sign on our lawn and a invoice for payment again we called immediatly and tol.d them we do not want there service!!! They came out again and we followed up yet again with a phone call telling them we refuse to pay for something we have cancelled numerous times, what does it take, they should be charged for tresspassing, now they are threatening to take us to a collection agency. I even called to speak with a manager and she is never available, i even sent her a email which i habe a copy and she has never responded back. I am fed up with the harassing phone calls and i feel i should not have to pay for a service i repeativly cancelled!!! Do not get Dr Green for this reason alone

This company cold called my 85 year old mother who has dementia and had her sign up for a service that she cancelled immediately before getting any work done. They informed her that she needed to pay a hefty cancellation fee and have been calling or sending her threatening letters for the past 2 years. Do not sign up for their service. They are relentless!!

We have enjoyed the services provided by Dr. Green for the past two years. The customer service department calls us with 24 hours notice of their visit to our home. The staff have been pleasant and courteous and have answered our questions. We have already prepaid our service for next year to take advantage of their valued customer prepay discount.

I contracted Dr. Green Lawn Care, by phone (last year), and paid the entire year service in full to avoid HST (what a moron). I have had nothing but problems. I have spent a lot of money and time on my lawn, just to have them wreck it!!! Finally I had enough and called them to cancel the service, and I did contract another company for this year, but because they are not listening and/or they don’t care they come without any notice (call, send letter or email) and apply them service , and as said before because NO ONE IS LISTENING, AS I HAD CANCELLED THEIR SERVICE BEFORE THEY CAME AND APPLIED ANOTHER TREATMENT THAT KILLED MY GRASS despite the fact there was another sign from different company in the front of my house, then I have to call again, and explained them everything, then finally I insist to have a cancelation number, but they told me I do have to pay for the service I didn’t required and/or ask for and it kill my lawn. Tried so many times to sole the issue and tried to speak to supervisor and/or manager to explain the issue, but always have no luck at all, only I have to deal with very impolite Customer service and they insist to pay for the service I didn’t ask for and as said it kill my lawn (MAFIA STYLE). Obviously I refused to to so, then they sent me another invoice for the service plus late fee, and almost a phone call every day about late balance and they have to move it to collection agency. So I called them and explained the whole situation in detail! I explained that they are more than welcome to come by my home and speak to me about the mess they caused. That, if they repaired the mess of my lawn that they created, I would be more than happy to pay them, but because they don’t care they inform me, if I do like them to come back, I have to hire them again and pay for this visit, and that I did refused. However, to last week, only the harassing phone calls which they think you are not telling the truth, but they want their money. What kind of a joke is this company? The better business bureau really needs to get involved in this one! Suggestions anyone???? Finally I got a call this morning form a collect agency and there was another twist, which they said this service I didn’t pay for was from last year!! Dr. Green is a massive JOKE. How many customers paid for weed eradication and got weed propagation instead? Could everybody please participate in a public defamation campaign to put them out of business? They clearly don’t have a problem putting their sign up on wrecked yards, so I’m sure this will not run contrary to their business ethos. How they can work so counterproductively is beyond me. Our lawn is diseased and they still impudently refuse to waive our invoice. Do not seek their service if you do not want a disservice. They will harass you with bills and phone calls long after your overdue termination of their “service.”

My husband and I bought our first house in 2007 and it was a fixer upper. After two years of extensive renovations inside it was time to start on the outside. The lawn was a mess! We did not know were to begin. After calling a few lawn care companies Dr Green seemed to be the most knowledgeable. After 2 full years using their services we now have the best lawn on the block. They also gave my husband, who isn't a green thumb great tips on how to properly mow the lawn and when to water and how much. Thank you Dr Green the outside of our house finally matches the inside! Dr Green started treating my lawn March 2010 and by spring of 2011 it was like night and day! When we moved into our house in 2009 we were overwhelmed with what to do about the lawn. It was clear that there had been 30 years of neglect which we thought we had to rip up and put down fresh sod just to get some kind of lawn. After calling a few lawn care companies, Dr Green was very confident that with their services and a little bit of work on our end that we wouldn’t have to spend that kind of money.. and they were right! Thank you Dr Green for bringing my lawn back to life!

Patricia, I will admit we have had a rocky relationship since we partnered on the grass! My utter frustration and unhappiness has turned around 180 degrees with your attentiveness. All I ever want when I contract for something, is that my expectations are met. Rarely, do my expectations get exceeded in this day and age of talking to electronic voices asking me to pick the number that suits me best, and then to have the call go dead. You and Aaron have done just that. Aaron left me a voice mail, (technology is great sometime I guess!) and said that if I wasn’t satisfied with the job he did he would come back if needed. He just did a great job and also, left me the message! I am completely satisfied and I WILL not hesitate to tell my friends and acquaintances about your dedication to service and how you have made a cranky old man a supporter of your service. I will sleep well tonight knowing that sometimes someone does what they say they will do. That someone is Dr. Green. Thank you for not giving up on me as someone you would rather not do business with. Your company is lucky to have you and Aaron.

When we moved into our house in 2009, the previous owners had neglected the lawn and gardens surrounding the house so badly, we wondered if we would ever successfully get rid of the weeds and have grass in which our kids could play on. The first year we spent trying to get the front grass to the point where the weeds weren’t growing over on to our boarding neighbours property. We managed to get the grass back, but not without a whole lot of blood, sweat and tears – not to mention time, which we really didn’t have a whole lot of. At the beginning of this spring, looking outside to our backyard, we both scratched our head and thought “maybe we should just rip up the whole lawn”. The weeds had completely overtaken the grass. It was then, we decided it was time to call in help. We booked the full season package with Dr. Green, which included a number of weed treatments, fertilizing and over seeding. Within the first two weeks, you could already notice a difference. We started seeing grass again!!! It’s now September and our lawn is lush, rich green and weed free. The neighbours are completely jealous and have asked what we have been doing to make it look so fantastic! I’ll be the first person to highly recommend Dr. Green to anyone that asks. The treatments saved us time by not having to get out and hand dig out millions of weeds. Dr. Green also made my backyard a spot in which my kids can now go out to play in without the worry of being stung by a thistle. Thank you to Dr. Green and staff for making my lawn green again!

We wanted a "green" lawn care provider to aerate and fertilize our lawn. The service was satisfactory and we have no complaints as the service was as per contract. Satisfied overall.

I started with Dr Green care this year and had nothing but problems! After 4 applications I called them to say how dissatisfied we were with the treatments., We spend a lot of time on our yard and take much pride in it. We got the service as my husband had a severe injury and was not able to do his usual lawn care. Our entire lawn turned Black!! when I called to complain they assured me that the lawn would come back. In the mean time it was a disgrace. July 16 the guys came back for another application I told them NO. Can you imagine spraying during a drought! I called the office and asked them to send out a representative to take a look. They told me to pay for the season then they would send someone. I refused to pay until they came around.And so the story goes I refused the last 3 treatments >>> however they billed me for them and after several harrassing calls they threatened me with collections . They gave me a credit of one treatment so there for I paid for 2 $63.00 tereatments plus $25.00 late fee. The guy calls me today to offer me a free seeding if I sign up with them again next year!!!! FAT CHANCE I WANT MY MONEY RETURNED TO ME I AM SO TIRED OF DISLOYALE PEOPLE.. A FAMILY COMPANY? YOU NEED TO GET YOUR FAMILY IN LINE. I WILL CONTINUE TO POST EVERY CHANCE I GET ...,SHAME ON YOU FOR TREATING PEOPLE THIS WAY!!!!!!!!
