We hired Dr. Green when they were doing a door to door canvas in our area. They were extremely delayed in the spring starting there service as we had so much rain. All in all it was ok but I expected more. they originally told me i could pre-pay and receive a discount and then never contacted me to ask for the oney so I ended up paying full price. We were not totally disstisfied but I will choose someone else next year with abit more customer service.

I contracted Dr. Green Lawn Care, by phone, to look after the spraying of my lawn for this year. I have had nothing but problems. I have spent a lot of money and time on my lawn, just to have them wreck it!!! On an invoice that I received, I finally wrote "cancel" across it "effective Immediately". I explained that I was not happy with their service. They did received the note, as they cashed the cheque that was in the same envelope. 3 days after the cheque cleared my account, I get home and a DR. Green sign was on my lawn. I couldn't believe they would spray my lawn in the heat wave. Sure enough, within a week my lawn was dying. I actually sat down on my lawn to look at the mess as it was black. I couldn't believe my lawn was actually dead. All my neighbours lawns came back quite well after the heat spell, but mine stayed black. Now I have a major mess of crab grass. I am so devistated about this. So of course, the harassing calls come because I won't pay for the last treatment, and for some reason NO ONE IS LISTENING, AS I HAD CANCELLED THEIR SERVICE BEFORE THEY CAME AND APPLIED ANOTHER TREATMENT THAT KILLED MY GRASS. So I wrote them a detailed letter, which they obviosly have not listened to! I expalined that they are more then welcome to come by my home and speak to me about the mess they caused. That, if they repaired the mess of my lawn that they created, I would be more then happy to pay them. However, to date, only the harassing phone calls which they think you are not telling the truth, but they want their money. What kind of a joke is this company? The better business bureau really needs to get involved in this one! Suggestions anyone????

Dr. Green is a massive JOKE. How many customers paid for weed eradication and got weed propagation instead? Could everybody please participate in a public defamation campaign to put them out of business? They clearly don’t have a problem putting their sign up on wrecked yards, so I’m sure this will not run contrary to their business ethos. How they can work so counterproductively is beyond me. Our lawn is diseased and they still impudently refuse to waive our invoice. Do not seek their service if you do not want a disservice. They will harass you with bills and phone calls long after your overdue termination of their “service.”

Dr. Green's tech drove up, put a sign in the lawn while my wife was home in the yard and then he drove off. We were later mailed a bill for the 'work'. We complained about the fact that no work was done and were later contacted by their head office to discuss our concern. We were told a tech was fired for not providing work in our neighbourhood following similar complaints and that our bill was written off. However, we continue to get calls from Dr. Green every two weeks. We have asked several times to speak to a supervisor who is never present when we ask. We are always told that a supervisor will return the call within 2 days but three times they have not called and their collections dept has no record of them attempting to call. Megan with the collections staff spent over 30 minutes telling us we were weren't telling the truth and said it should only take two minutes for the tech to do the job. Absolutely the worst customer service we've ever received. Green Drop did a great job though and I would highly recommend them instead.

I hired them to remove a very strong weed. They assured me that they would be able to get rid of it. Not only did it not work but it got worse. My lawn has never looked worse than it has. I advised them repeatedly and asked them to speak to someone at my home. They were very elusive and when they did come they sent "kids". I called and asked them to stop further treatments. They did not stop and would not answer calls. Finally, they agreed to stop and we came to an agreement to pay them an adjusted rate for the lawn(which they burned). They then went on to double charge my credit care and I am still trying to get them to reverse the one charge!!!Terrible!!! I will call the Better Business Bureau.

They sent me an email notifying of when they would be coming and they did the service on the day they said they would. I'm still waiting for any new grow to show.

Yeah they are pretty bad. My last treatement had no fertilizer on the ground (no granular bits) and calling them to reapply this yielded the same non-treatement. Weed control is also non-existent -- we have had them come in twice a month since June, and there is no effect on existing weeds 1-2 weeks after application. So as far as I can tell we paid them for a season of services that were never performed. Don't go with this company. My neighbor with another company has a much better lawn. And yes, do cancel explicitly since they will automatically come back next year if you don't.

Signed online coupon deal with Dr Green. No one came for service the lawn but definitely someone came to sneak a receipt on my entrance door about service performed. Called customer care but representative did not accept that their technicians can sneak a receipt without providing any service.

This is absolutely the worst lawn care company ever! I signed up for service in Dec. 2010. They were supposed to aerate the lawn but that never happened. Never heard a word from them until the end of May when they decided to provide service and a bill. I am not sure what they even did! My lawn became infested with weeds. I called the customer service - no response. An automated system would call to tell me I owed money but no one would return my call. Today I tried to call to tell them again and the phone says unable to connect..... Three words - don't use them!!

Very bad services, my lawn now looks terrible. All the grass looks burnt and YOU CAN NOT CANCEL THIS TERRIBLE SERVICE UNTIL THE ACCOUNT IS FULLY PAID. i refused to pay becasue of their bad service, abolute terrible, DONT USE.
