    LAWN CARE

I MOVED FROM WEEDMAN AND THIS IS MY 1ST YEAR WITH THEM. IN THE MEANTIME I REMOVED MY GARDEN BY ALMOST 100%; KEPT ONLY EQUAL TO 2 STEPS AS IT IS ATTACHED WITH MY NEIGHBOR HOUSE. THEY CHARGED ME PER TREATMENT $47 WHICH IS 80% OF THE TOTAL COST OF $57. I CANCELLED THE SERVICE. REGARDLESS, I FOUND THEIR WORK QUALITY BELOW STANDARD AND WOULD HAVE MOVED BACK TO WEEDMAN NEXT YEAR IF I HAD KEPT THE GARDEN.

    Lawn Care Services

very poor service. They clearly dont do what they are supposed to do because I have 2 stripes up my lawn where the guy has walked with the fertilizer. The ferilizer clearly works, but only if you apply it properly. 3 visits in and they still haven't been into my back yard. I was at home for the last visit and he allegedly fertilized my front and rear yards, applied weedkiller to the side of the house and insect repellant in under 5 minutes. I would not recommend this company. even their customer service does not write down what you tell them because everytime you call them you have to recount the story from the beginning. To summarize, my lawn looks worse this year then ever before before, patchy and dying and I am $300 worse off. I am waiting for a call from the manager in Calgary so I'll update the review once I hear back

    DR GREEN IS A SCAM

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! THE WEED KILL DOESNT WORK AND THEIR SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS. I HAVE MORE WEEDS ON MY LAWN AT THE END OF SUMMER THAN I HAD AT THE BEGINNING. I HAVE NEVER REVIEWED A COMPANY BEFORE BUT I DONT WANT TO SEE ANYONE ELSE GET RIPPED OFF.

    Stop scamming Dr. Green

Hey Kelly Hannan, I am having an issue with them too. Before they even came for the first visit, I told them that I was not interested anymore. Then they came and left a bill. I complained about the bill and supposed to review the recording of our conversation. Did not hear from them. I called them the third time and the manager supposed to call me back. He/She didnt. Guesss what? They came in again and left a bill. This company would not take 'no' for an answer. I am about to contact Better Business Bureau and report Dr. Green, or maybe charge them with trespassing because I never wanted them to step on my lawn. Are you going to BBB?

    Lawn Services

I agreed over the phone to have Dr. Green do some lawn care work at my home. They came and left a sign on my lawn and a bill in my mailbox but did not do the work listed on their bill (or any work). I called to tell them that. The customer service lady apologized and said that the Calgary manager would call me. He didn't. A month later I received a "late payment invoice". I called the customer service lady again and told her that I wasn't going to pay a bill for services that were never provided. Then I started getting "collection" phone calls from them. I just spoke with the customer service lady again today - she was rude and suggested that she might be able to take some token amount off the bill but that was all that she could do. I couldn't believe my ears. I refused to pay any amount and reiterated that the services billed for were not even provided. She said that my account with them would be sent to collections. Brutal. Dr. Scam is right. I would highly recommend staying away from them.

    Lawn Service

Dr Green more like Dr Scam Agreed to lawn service over the phone for one year which I was not satisfied with still had weeds and thay did not treat my boulavard even after I called there was no improvment . Beware thay claim thay are doing you a service by providing additional tretments the following year with out your authorisation and stiking you with a bill. Thay claim to have sent me letters for this which I do not remember seeing as I was not intrested in due to their poor service . Thay still insist that I pay for unathorised service and will not go away.

Lawncare - weed control & fertilization

I ordered the lawncare service in 2010 and was VERY disappointed with the results so I decided not to renew the service this year. Imagine my surprise at returning from work one day in April to find a Dr Green sign on the lawn. Now they are continually hounding me for money. I explained how disappointed I was in their service, but no offer of recompense. One customer service rep stated that they had my voice on tape agreeing to the continuous care. I told him that if I heard that tape I would be willing to pay. He was to call back with the recording...NOTHING. Yet the bills keep on coming...Today I called again and they indicated I could settle by paying 1/2 the invoice, but they want to include the accrued interest. If I did not pay it would go to collections. WHAT to do - do I want to ruin my credit rating over the cost of $25? But the priniciple of the matter is that I should not have to pay for something I did not order. Please be aware and cancel service immediately if you are unhappy.

Hired for weed control and fertilization

I had good service in 2010 from Dr.Green. HAD as in past tense. It is now the middle of July and they have only come out once so far to fertilize. Every time I email or call they say that they are coming out in a day or two and never come. Yesterday I got two emails from two different people at Dr. Green telling me that someone would come today. No one showed up. When I called to complain they told me that the technician said he came but I was "doing something to the lawn which prevented him from applying the weed control". They wouldn't tell me what that supposed something was. Doesn't matter because my lawn wasn't touched all day by me or anyone. The girl I talked to on the phone said that she promised that they would do their best to come tomorrow BUT no promises. I paid $360.57 in advance and feel like I have been robbed.

Dr. Green Lawn Care - CROOKS OF THE TRADE!

July 13, 2011 - Please beware of Dr. Green Lawn Care located in Mississauga. My Story; I 'pre-paid' for a full summer season of various treatments which entitled me to a discount. Since April of this year Dr.Green has come to my property 3 times so far. I happen to have hidden video surveillance (at my home) which covers all aspects of my property. All three times I have become ill about how badly Dr. Green has preformed their treatments. I have to say with pure honesty they hardly covered even 20% of my lawn area with the selected product. Further to this issue, Dr.Green has failed hugely at doing 'one single' de-weeding session out of the 7 that should be performed throughout the summer. I have called Dr. Green about this and they claim they are busy and that "someone will be there this week"... months have gone by with not treatments. After 3 times of very week applications and after several attempts to get Dr. Green to adhere to their advertised treatments (contract) I decided to cancel the agreement. Low and behold sure enough there are "no refunds" and that I have to wait to the end of the summer to "cancel future services" Dr. Green definitely have poor management and very bad practices. They are in my opinion "crooks of the trade" Please do not get suckered into their vibrate promotional material. They truly do not deserve hard working peoples business. Matter of fact they should be sued. Spend a little more time researching Dr.Green on the internet and see other horrible testimonials. Good luck. DO NOT USE MR. GREEN LAWN CARE PLEASE HELP STOP THE SCAMMING!

    BEWARE of Dr. Green

As soon as the Dr. Green sign went on my lawn after the first treatment in 2010 a car stopped and the driver shouted: "You'll be sorry". He was right. We watched for the next Dr. Green visit and observed a man sprinkle less than a handful of pellets on the front lawn and then stick a piece of paper in the mailbox saying that he did a complete weed application. He had never even entered the back yard. The next time we observed the Dr. Green truck stopped in front of our house for a 1/2 hour at lunch time but no one ever got out. He then drove off. Apparently Dr. Green tracks their trucks by GPS and this way is able to "prove" that the truck was here for 1/2hour. Other times the back yard was locked and still the report said that the entire property was treated. Unfortunately I had prepaid for the season and no matter whom I talked to at Dr. Green they would not send an actual manager or supervisor to see just how bad my neglected lawn looked. My requests for cancelation of services and for a refund were repeatedly denied and instead they kept sending more trucks and made more token partial treatments. All this was in 2010. This year 6 drivers have been here to date. Each driver was told that the service was cancelled last year and sent back before he had a chance to even get started. All except one apologized and said they get this a lot. This year the back yard is locked 24/7 but still they keep coming and even though I have refused service 6 times I've not received a single call. They just send more trucks. Last year I would get a call before a treatment, this year, the trucks just show up without that prior call and a man (each time a different man)tries to sneak on the property. Obviously there will be no payments to Dr. Green this year but I feel I’m getting harassed and hope to be able to soon get the media interested in the way Dr. Green conducts business.
