    Lawncare Service

We signed on with the company through door to door solicitor. In the contract we had 5 visits that included a free aeration and soil conditioner. We signed on because they said we could pay per visit and still get the reduced quoted price. We only wanted the service for the weed spraying (we did our own seeding and fertilizing) but they would not do it alone. They said the fertilizing would promote strong root growth and the over seeding would make the lawn thicker to choke out the weeds. We agreed to give it a try. It was late May before anyone came out for the aeration and over seeding after placing several calls which took 3-4 days to return. We hardly noticed any seed in the sparse areas but watered as instructed. We received a bill for this service and so I had to call the office to remind them that my aeration was supposed to be free. The grass did fill in thicker in some areas that had no grass before but the other needed areas remained bare. The weeds kept growing. Our first fertilizing came the end of May. We continued watering and the weeds increased. The beginning of june we had another visit for a fertilizer but still no weed spray. The tech noted on his report that we needed seeding done. Even he couldn't tell that it was done just a few weeks prior. Finally the beginning of July we had another fertilizer and weed spray was done. (20 minutes after the weed spray was done it rained - and you aren't supposed to water for 24 hours) Needless to say that spray did nothing to kill the weeds. I called the office again and was told to wait to wait until after the second weed spray was done to see if it helped. The Fourth visit was mid July for another weed spray and 10 days after that we noticed no difference. During that time a salesman came to the door to solicit our business (he was from Dr. Green) I let him explain how our lawn could look much better with their services. That it needed over seeding (and aeration) and fertilizing. Along with this they would do a weed control because we had many weeds. I told him at that point that we were using his company. He was surprised given the condition of our lawn. He told me to call the office that their service was guaranteed. I called the office and told them what had taken place and about no change in the weeds after the second spray. Good to their word they did another weed spray at no charge but it didn't do anything. They also said they would redo the aeration and over seeding at no charge but it would have to be done at the end of the summer because it was too hot. It was also noted on one of the visits that we needed a soil conditioner. Again I had to call the office to request this to be done and explain it was supposed to part of our service. Our final and fifth visit was done the beginning of september along with our soil conditioner. I called the office again to find out when our aeration and over seeding was going to be done again. We received a call the end of September but no one showed up on the scheduled day. An email was sent informing us the tech was sick and would come the next day but we didn't see this email until it was too late. We didn't leave the gate open so when the tech showed up the next day he didn't have access to the back yard. We were home that day (2 cars were in the driveway) but did not know someone had come until they were driving away. No one rang the bell to say they needed access to the back yard and when we went out to inspect the lawn there were no dirt plugs on the lawn as is normal for aeration and we saw no evidence of any grass seed. The bill was in the door (no charge of course) saying they had completed the redo of the over seeding and aeration. I called the office once again to inquire what was done and was informed that their tech reported servicing our entire property. I asked how could our entire property be serviced if our gate to the back yard was locked and also explained that I didn't see any seed or dirt plugs on the front lawn. The service rep then became very defensive and hostile. I was then accused of saying the tech was not honest on his report when I was in fact, only asking questions and providing information based on our observations. She then rudely demanded to know why I was calling 2 weeks later (it was one week and a day from our last service) when there was no way they could prove anything was done. She told me she would send someone out to check our lawn but I told he there was no point. It was too late in the season to do anything and that I wanted to inquire about a refund for the over seeding that was never done correctly. The rep rudely snapped that they don't get refunds, to which I responded that i would like to speak to a supervisor. She said fine and hung up on me. I sent an email requesting a supervisor to call but I have not received a call from anyone to date, I did however receive a quote in the mail for next year. I can honestly say I will not use the services of Dr. Green again.

    lawn service

?I was with Dr Green for two years, 2012 and 2013... after not seeing any significant  results I decided not to renew for 2014. I received a call asking me to sign up again a couple of weeks ago so I decided to give them another try. I checked my credit card statement a couple of days after signing up and see they charged me twice... I call in and they can only find one payment to my account but they said they would look into it.... I call back later on the same day and am informed that they accidentally charged my card to cover someone else's charges and that they would put a rush on to have it fixed. I follow up a week later and spoke to a very nice customer service representative who indicated she would follow up and call me back... no call came... I follow up again a couple of days later and the same thing, no call... Dr Green made an unauthorized duplicate charge on my credit card and does not seem remotely interested in fixing it.  I am so disappointed that I gave this company another chance?... I completely regret giving them another chance and unless this is resolved in the next day or so I will be disputing this charge with my credit card company.

    Lawn Care

We paid close to $500 and the lawn never looked green, they put grass seed in all the flower beds and the interlocking bricks which was a nightmare to get out. They came back several times to try and fix the issues but I ended up doing a huge amount of work. The whole idea of lawn care was to limit the work I had to do and instead I had to put in twice as much effort as usual. The weed control was good but everything else was miserable. Much too expensive for the results achieved.

    Lawn Care

I needed professional lawn care this summer for my yard, and despite some of the poor reviews, I thought I'd give Dr.Green the benefit of the doubt; a bad experience for one doesn't always mean a bad experience for someone else. The spring deal cost less than other companies but they provided the same services. Now I know why there were so many poor reviews. It took 4 attempts for them to charge me for the services, finally I had to go on to their web portal and pay for it myself, only to be called back a month later asking where the rest of the payment was. My profile STILL shows and outstanding balance which shouldn't be there. I was told that I would receive notification 24hrs in advance before someone came to do the next task. I received 1 notification at the beginning of the service. Even though I called at least 3 times asking to be notified and being assured that I would receive notification, none ever came. And on more than one occasion I'd have to call and request that the service be reapplied because something would prevent it from being effective. My lawn still has thistle in it. I don't want to keep getting weed killer applied because it will eventually kill the lawn, and my kids won't be able to play in the yard. One of the services requested was overseeding. Whoever applied the seed never picked up the spreader as they walked to the back of my house. I now have grass growing in the path beside my home which I now have to deal with. And not just a little bit of grass, there's a decent amount which makes the walkway look unkempt. My front lawn doesn't look any better than it did last summer (sure there are less dandelions, but there is just as much thistle as there was before). So what was I paying for? I feel like I've burned away almost $300. Since the season has ended, I've received 2 calls within a few days of each other asking if I want to sign up for next season. Even though I've explained that I'm no longer interested and why, they called back. Don't make the mistakes that I made, stay away from this company.

    General Review

Customer service is atrocious. They don’t record the services you book accurately, and call repeatedly to sell items you already have. They didn’t provide a service I paid for, and argues to say they did. Never again!

    Dr. Green Lawn Care

Yet again, Dr. Green continues to provide the necessary services, which has resulted in a beautiful and healthy lawn. Not only is my lawn taken care of properly, but the customer service department has always made sure I am treated properly.

    Lawn Care

Dr. Green is the type of business you need to keep a very close eye on. We were offered aeration which we said we would call back and order if required. We never called back yet the service was done and we were billed. Upon calling to clarify the operator offered to find the phone record and call us back. We never heard back. I called again and the operator yet again tried to find the call. I said I would wait. After about fifteen minutes the operator said that the call could not be found. To be fair she did offer to waive the service which was appreciated. However I am unsure why the call would be impossible to find. My thoughts are that it does not exist. How many people do not catch this sort of thing and end up paying for services they never wanted or needed? Additionally while I was trying to cancel I was reminded of how much time and money it takes to complete lawn care without the help of a company. However I do not feel Dr.Green actually has the best interest of my lawn at heart. They came by recently to power-rake (another service I never ordered). Thankfully the weather did not permit the service. There is no way that aeration and power-raking should both be completed in one season, let alone within a month of each other. I am quite sure we will be more successfully with Costco fertilizer next year. And it will most certainly be cheaper. Dr.Green is not a company I would ever recommend.

    Dr. Green Lawn Care

When we purchased our home five years ago, the lawn was a mess of weeks. We tried to deal with it ourselves for the first two years but three years ago decided to enlist the help of Dr. Green lawn care services. What a difference it made!!! Our weeds were gone within a month and due to their continuous care all summer long, they stayed away all season. We went from having one of the worst lawns on the street to having one of the best. Thanks Dr. Green for all your help!

    Dr. Green Services

I had Naturescape for years and got terrible service and results. Since I have used Dr. Green my lawn looks great. I don’t know why I waited so long to call. I definitely recommend Dr. Green to everyone who is serious about how their lawn looks.
