We have been very pleased with the care our lawn has received from Dr. Green. Where we used to have mostly weeds, the lawn was growing very nicely. I fondly remember the beautiful green grass which is now buried under nearly 2 feet of snow. Dr. Green has made sure that insects such as grubs and crane flies do not destroy our lawn. We have also been quite happy with the ice melter from Dr. Green. It does a good job keeping the sidewalk and stairs clear and doesn't harm the garden. When spring finally gets here, I would just like to ask that the technicians spray a little closer to the house, as a few of the hardier weeds still like to claim the edge of the lawn closest to the house. Come on, spring!

Dr. Green is a very professional lawn care company that provides good service .We have been their clients for over the last 8 years and we would like to continue for many more years to come...highly recommended!!

I have been happy with the service I have received with Dr. Green. Over the years, it has built up my lawn to a fuller more healthier lawn. The visits do not take long and are done professionally. One thing that I would like to see improved is the removal of weeds and/or the weeds being reduced.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! We received a ton of rain prior to their first visit and I had no time to cut my grass. I called Dr. Green to ask to be rescheduled and asked them not to come for at least 7 days so I could cut my grass once the days and days of rain had stopped. The person I spoke with said that was fine and that the appointment was rescheduled. Someone came anyways! I called and they apologized and took the charge off, fine. The appointment was rebooked again for no less than a week away. Someone came the next day again and did a completely different service! After much discussion, my husband and I decided to cancel our services with Dr. Green due to their lack of inter office communication. Now, they will not stop hounding me for the $50 something charge of their services even though they were not supposed to come in the first place. They call multiple times per day! They are now ignoring my emails and my account has been in dispute since AUGUST! I would NEVER recommend this business to someone!

Watch out!!! 7 out of 10 prior reviews were bad. I don't like giving reviews but felt that I needed to to warn people from using their service. It's been 3 months already and I'm still waiting for my refund. Seems like their making money from cancellations and they don't care. Last agent I spoke to Taylor 4493 said she would call back but who knows if she'll ever will.

I cancelled my service in 2013 and did not want service in 2014 repeatedly told them I didn't want service. Now they want me to pay via collections for service I didn't request. This company doesn't seem on the up and up and I refuse to pay. Be careful as they tend to not accept a cancellation over the phone or have employees that are incompetent

I have used Dr. Green for many years now and I have reliably gotten the service I have paid for. Never had any issues and pleased with what they delivered. I love the fact that they will now deliver Organic Ice Melter to my door and bill me later.

I agree with other reviewers; Dr. Green does not provide customer service. I have used them for two years (did not want to renew this year but was told the same as another person that you can't cancel until receiving all your services and then it was automatically renewed). I have had to call almost everytime to ask them to come for scheduled service and when I wanted a re-treat for the numerous weeds I had, it took two phone calls and three weeks before they cam out again and then it was only a spot spraying a few. Most weeds were left untouched. Starting in September they called every week offering additional services live overseeding with my aeration. Each time I said I was not satisfied with the service and did not want to pay for more. Each time they promised that someone would be out within 3-5 days to do the aeration; it is not Oct. 31 and it is still not done. My neighbours had a horrible lawn at the beginning of the summer and they use another service. Now their lawn is lush and weed free. I just want to be done with Dr. Green.

Don't use this service! They promised great lawn maintenance and did not deliver. The technician kept noting "weeds" but took no action. Apparently I was to keep calling - isn't that what a technicial is looking for when they come out? Now I'm trying to discontinue my service as they "auto renew" every year and no one is "allowed" to do that. I have spoken to 4-5 people during the past while and I have to call back when my services have been completed. When I asked if they could simply put a note on my file, I was told no - I have to call back. Worst customer service ever!!!
