    Dr. Green Lawn Care

I have been with Dr Green for approx. 5 years. The service has been great. My lawn is very green, practically weed free, insect free and crab grass fee – even in the hot summer months – I tried adding my own fertilizer and weed control but had very little success. My property is adjacent to an empty field which has an unbelievable amount of weeds on it - but again, with Dr Green, my lawn looks fantastic. I get a lot of complements from my neighbors, it feels great and I’m very proud to have one of the best lawns in the neighborhood. Thanks Dr. Green

    Dr. Green Lawn Service

With my busy home and career schedule I found it difficult to keep my lawn weed free and clean. I had looked at other lawn care services before I found Dr. Green. I have now been a customer for over 2 years and my lawn looks absolutely beautiful. The services that Dr. Green provides are excellent, the costs are low and the payment terms have never been better. I recommend Dr. Green to all my coworkers and friends. They definitely live up to their reputation.

    Lawn Care Service

I have been using Dr Green for several years now. When I bought my house, the lawn was a complete mess. I made it a priority to get rid of the weeds and to thicken the grass. However, it was in such disrepair, I realized I couldn't do it alone. Dr Green came in and improved my lawn in the first season and has continued to improve it with each passing year. I routinely walk the dog through my neighborhood and can't help but notice how awful many of the lawns are around me. All it does is remind me how thick, green and weedless my lawn is. I would recommend Dr Green to other home owners! Thank you for your wonderful service!

    Service not requested

DO NOT USE - EVER!!! Services NOT requested, and upon numerous calls to and from the company, they repeatedly sent contractors out to preform said unrequested services. THEN, they not only had the gall to bill me, but to send me to collections.

    seasonal lawn care

Dr Green did lawn care for us for three years. On the third year, I cancelled the service, or so I thought. However, the company fertilized my lawn the following spring. I called to explain I had canceled. Again, I thought I made myself clear with this company. Nonetheless, they continued to send me invoices for this treatment, including late charges. I had to call three times over a month or so to deal with this matter. Every time, I was told that someone would call back within a few days - nobody did . Every time I called, they kept insisting that I had suspended the lawn treatment and not cancelled. And even after I explained to two service representatives that I indeed had cancelled the service, I received two other calls from other Dr Green departments asking me if I wanted the winter booster, etc, etc. In the end, they reduced the charge and I paid it because I just wanted to be done with it. Very poor customer relations services. Their invoice does note that service will continue from season to season but a simple "I don't want the service any more" does not seem to be enough.

    Dr green lawn care services

We were extremely disappointed the first year as they were always a month if not more behind, we then complained and they agreed to credit us back what we've spent for the upcoming year. They started right back where they left off the next year except every treatment was on a rainy or yes a snowy day . We called them to cancel which they agreed. Now, their sales department is harassing us even after we told them we don't want anything to do with them anymore. Leave us alone already!! I would never never recommend them to anyone, stay clear people.

    Lawn care

Unfortunately my recent experiences with Dr. Green Service have led me to want to share the details with the Internet. After 4 years of excellent service by Dr. Green, service began to decline. We were no longer satisfied with the appearance of our lawn. We gave them another year of loyal patronage (this was the first year I declined to prepay in advance for our service). In the fall of 2013, our fees were paid and that year of services were complete. We received a call offering a discount to prepay for the upcoming years of service. I advised the male caller at this time, that I was not interested in receiving service the following year. In the spring of 2014, Dr. Green began to service my lawn. Upon completion of their service, they place an invoice in our mailbox describing what they completed that day and the amount owing. They visited approximately 2 more times in the spring. In June I called, advised them that I cancelled my service the prior year and they had been visiting this year. I advised that I wasn’t happy that I had continued to receive service after I cancelled, but I would pay them for the services rendered so far as I didn’t immediately call after they realized they were still making service calls. On June 19, 2014, I paid $263.49 to Dr. Green Services via Internet banking. On the morning of July 23, 2014 my husband observed Dr. Green Services pull up in front of our house. He approached the vehicle and inquired as to which house they were providing service for. They indicated it was our house. My husband advised them that we had cancelled this service 2X and we did not want their service. They apologized and left. My husband called Dr. Green and advised them yet again that we did not want any continued service. During this call, my husband insisted that the individual that he was speaking with send an email confirming that we had cancelled our service and that we did not have any balance owing. On July 23, 2014 we received an email from Julie M, a Customer Service Senior Representative. In the email she states: “As per your request, your account with Doctor Green Services has been cancelled. There is a zero balance owing.” Since that email, we have received frequent calls from the billing department, as well as a statement billing us $55.90. This $55.90 was charged for the visit that my husband physically declined. So no services rendered. Not to beat a dead horse, however these services were declined over a month after I cancelled our services for the second time! During our repeated phone conversations in which we outline the above to them, we are told to call the customer service department. It is pretty disappointing that a company would choose to harass a customer through repeated phone calls, sometimes twice daily, to collect funds that the billing department acknowledges we shouldn’t have to pay, instead of dealing with this internally.

Summer Seeding and Fertilization Lawn Service

I was called by Dr Green and asked if I would like to have a seed and fertilization package. Sounded like a great idea. The first spring seed happened in AUGUST when my grass is already burning from the heat. They claimed the person who entered my account quit. So apparently, anyone who buys this package from someone is dependent on the salesman to not quit? Anyway, they were not sorry when I called. Not sorry when I called again when they still didn't show up. Now they tell me they plan to reseed in NOVEMBER and I can't cancel my auto-renew until after that. Which means they'll probably be closed for the season. In their services, when they did show up, there was no sign of aeration(paid for), no sign of fertilization, no sign except the one they leave showing they were there. I don't believe they actually did any work. My paperwork shows that my lawn is both even and uneven, dense and spare, moist and dry. They are terrible in every aspect of their company, right from day 1 to fraud at the end. Not to mention their fabulous auto-renew program. Total garbage. Do not hire Dr. Green.

    Lawn Care service

I purchased a lawn care package in mid-April after just moving into our new house. The package included Spring weed control, Aeration and 6 treatments until the fall. I would have expected the "spring" service to happen sometime in May, early June at the latest. I ended up having to spend a full day manually de-weeding my lawn in early June since no one had come yet for treatment. The weed control finally happens in Late June, where it was pointless since I had to do all the work myself to get rid of the weeds. I get a call then in the middle of summer, on a Saturday saying that I had owed them money for an over-seeding to be done in October that we did not order. After telling the girl I didn't order the service, she tells me I needed to contact another number on another day to cancel. After calling the office to cancel our service, they tell us we cannot officially cancel the service for another 4 weeks, after the last paid treatment. IF YOU DON'T CALL AND CANCEL THEIR SERVICE, THEY WILL CONTINUE TO BILL YOU!!! Also, they have told us they have a voice recording of us ordering an over-seeding, so then we would have to pay for that service, even though I have not done this and they have no proof. I am currently still awaiting the last service so we can cancel this excuse for a business.
