    Lawn care

    Please don't sign up with this company. I had service with this company for two years ( always the use pressure tactics) to keep their business. I did try to cancel my service after 1 year they did not. Last year again they promised to give me 75 dollars discount as pay as go customer which they offer to prepaid customer, which they refused later on. After heated argument, I advised that I am paying the total amount at bank and cancel my service. No enough, I see their tech this year entering in my back yard to service without any permission. I was at home luckly and stopped him doing any service. I called them and told them, that I have cancelled the service last year. Dr.green arrogant people said you did not made call again after paying, so our service is AUTO-RENEW. On the earth, once you deal with them you cannot get out. They send me bill more than $200.00 I refused to pay and started getting harassing calls. I have filed case with BBB CASE#: 1298475, and they offer me to take 50% off of the $200.00 which I refused because I did not get any service. I am in process of filling another complain with Ministry of Consumer Services. PLEASE AVOID .................

    Residential lawn care

    I have been a customer of Dr Green Services for a number of years when I owned my own home. I sold that property earlier in the year as a result of losing my job. In April 2014, Dr Green staff called and inquired as to whether I would be renewing my contract, at which time I advised Dr Green staff that I had sold my house and currently living in a rental house. I was not advised to call Customer Service to cancel my contract. On May 21, 2014, I received an e-mail reminder that service would be performed on my old property. I immediately called Dr Green customer service but there was no capability to leave a message after hours. On May 22, I again called customer service, explained my situation (as stated above) and was told by the advisor that the service would be cancelled and she would try and have all charges cancelled. She also indicated that I may be charged half of any charges. Today I received a bill for $115.42 and the customer service advisor indicated that I had agreed to pay half, which was incorrect. On the call today, I did agree to pay half because I was told that my account would be referred to a collection agency. Now, on second thought I am appalled with this treatment after having been a loyal customer for so many years. I would request that all charges be waived, as I am currently very dissatisfied. If I ever purchase a new home, I will certainly engage another firm for my lawn care requirements. In addition, I will advise my current landlord to do the same. I also would not recommend your company to anyone.

    Lawn Care

    I signed up for Dr Green lawn care service in early April, paid over $360 in full. A couple of days later I realized that my small patch of grass did not warrant the service which I had paid for. I called them 2 days later to cancel the service which was still weeks before they were planing on making their first visit to my house. It has now been 8 weeks and I'm still waiting for my refund. Their telephone army in Toronto which I have called many times, will not connect me to their supervisor or manager but instead remind me that they do not issue refunds even though I never received a service. These guys are CROOKS, do not hire them! ****************************************** As you can see below, the company response doesn't even match my complaint. They are cookie cutter responses saying "you should have told us" or "you should have called". I have been calling Dr Green for 8 weeks now leaving my name and number. This week I left my name and number with Steve, Rodgrigo, Mark and I have yet to receive one call back as they promised. Does this company realize how pointless and unproductive this all has been? I will continue to call next week until I get my full refund.. All I'm asking for is my prepaid $360 back for services I have not received and have since cancelled so we can then put an end to this poisonous relationship. Again, it's Todd Safruk in Calgary, please return my $360 for services not received or wanted any longer.

    Lawn Care

    This is simply the worst lawn care service I have ever experienced. This season was their second chance to show me good results and they failed even though I paid for worthless late fall and winter treatments. There leadership team should pay a visit to my lawn and compare it to neighbors with weed free, green and healthy lawns. Big on promises, short on results....

    power rake

    I got a call last night telling me I had an outstanding bill of $18?.?? dollars for power raking that was never done due to weather. I called company and was treated like a crook. I asked to have someone come out and look at my lawn as anyone with any lawn knowledge could tell right away power raking was never done. I was very happy for the service last year and mentioned it to friends, now I will let them know The customer service is horrific. They tried this last fall also, claiming they were here when no one showed up. Today I was put on hold for 19 minutes, phone disconnected the call. I called back and after pressing 2, phone disconnected again after 20 seconds. I need some intelligent person from this company to come out and look at my lawn. even though they claim it was done a month ago and could not tell, everyone realizes an experienced business person could tell that in a month you do not have inches of dead winter kill. Would no longer recommend this company to anyone. If you use Dr. Green make sure you are at home while any service is done. To top it off, woman today do not even listen to me. Asked me why I was complaining about a bill 1 month later. I tried to explain it was only last night I got the call for payment. Previously I called twice, once in April and again a little over a week ago asking them when they were coming out to do the lawn. I was told due to weather it would be a while. I just want someone to look at my lawn and see NOTHING was done!

    Lawn care

    Horrible service. Got email about lawn service the next day and a week has passed. They never come out when they say they will and when you call, their receptionist is rude beyond belief. She cut me off mid-sentence and basically hung up the phone on me. I asked to speak to her supervisor, and was told that none is available. If you are considering this company don't sign with them. get someone else to dot he lawn service for you. I will file a complaint with the BBB as well.

    Lawn care

    ***automatic renewal of services*** The invoice you receive will state they renew services from season to season - this includes yearly renewal. We ordered their services last summer for dandelion control. All winter they phoned over and over again, trying to schedule spring services, which I continuously declined. They came out in the spring and fertilized, unannounced and I am bring advised I am responsible for the bill. They came while we were having our driveway worked on, including pouring cement, and fertilized despite the other workers present and without our knowledge. I can't say if our lawn looks better or not. We hired them last year because we had dandelions, time will tell if it worked.

    Reputable and reliable

    I would like to say that I have been very pleased with the services that I have received with your company over the last few years. My lawn really has improved since you started working on it.     Lawn Service - I should say no SERVICE

    What a crap company, I sign up last year for service and got none. I was told it would start in May of this year, still no service. talked to the regional manager, Gregory, last Friday and guaranteed me he would get back to me before the end of the day. One week later and still nothing, tried calling him and his mailbox is full, I wonder WHY? I called the 1-855 number and got Ontario and found out that they don't give refunds and he will get Greg to call me, wonder how long I will have to wait? I DEMAND a Full Refund of $239.20. I will be dropping by Dr Green on my next day off.

    Spring lawncare

    I booked with dr Green near the middle of April and they said that they would be out as soon as the weather corporates. I booked power rake and fertilization followed by aeration and weed control. I started getting emails around the end if April saying they would be out to my house to complete my power raking the next business day. After about 4 or 5 emails of them telling me they would be out to complete service I got a little annoyed. I finally called to try and get an answer but was told I could leave a number and they would get back to me. They never got back to me so I phoned again and waited on hold for 30 min. When I got to talk to someone and I asked what the hold up on my services was the person told me that they had been out to my house on 2 occasions Andy sprinkler system wasn't marked.......... I told them when I booked I didn't have a sprinkler system. Nice excuse DR GREEN. When I told them that I told them that in the first place they told me oh looks like our tech had a personal emergency that day and had to leave. Wow another nice excuse DR GREEN. Finally they told me that someone would be out in 2 to 3 days......... Guess what I had to phone them back 1 week later and ask again what was going on? I told them I wanted a refund.......that got them moving I guess. Said they would be out within 24 hours. Waiting waiting waiting. Guess who calls four days later and claims they can't find my house on GPS. House has been there for 15 years......DR GREEN is probably the worst company I've ever dealt with and will not be getting another penny from me or anyone I know. Blows my mind that they are still in business. When they do finally show up I sure hope my lawn survives???
