!!!DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY!!! 1) none of the emails/employee names provided on the responses of this site are real. 2) I emailed you numerous times "Courtneyg" and you didn't respond. 3) they do the same thing to everyone where they don't cancel a contract and keep charging 4) lawn care sucks and is non-existent 5) they don't have a customer service line. Many people have tried calling it judging by hear reviews and everyone has the same complain. The customer service line does not exist unless its a phone call with a new customer. Or else why would hundreds of people who have never met complain about the EXACT SAME problem over and over. I've warned my entire neighbourhood, coworkers and friends and family about this company and they have guaranteed to spread the word. PLEASE DONT FALL FOR THIS COMPANY. and don't reply to my comment if you work for the company, because you are far from sorry.

Last chance - maybe with social media you'll respond. Lets see... We signed up for your program due to the promised high quality of service and the free service calls. We have weed issues on our lawn and the sales rep indicated that they would be managed appropriately starting with weed control in May. We are now well into June and although you've been out twice, once to fertilize our weeds and once to aerate them there has been no weed control. We made a call to your office requesting a free service call 2 weeks ago. The first call we made to your office was an operator that indicated that you were busy and that we'd get a call back in 5 minutes. They never called back. When we called the following day we requested a weed control visit. The gentlemen said that they weren't able to come and they'd be out in the next week or so. They have not been out. Please provide me with a detailed schedule of your visits and a weed control visit ASAP as promised by your service representative when we signed up. We are very disappointed with the customer service that we've receive to date, luckily it's early in the year and there is lots of time to improve your response your customers requests and live up to your advertised promises.

I had bought the power raking as well as the fertilizer application which I bought last year - what a mistake to buy the power raking. It looked like the power raking was done only in once place of my lawn and the garbage bag was only 1/4 full. From my previous years when we raked our yard we always had at least 3 garbage bags full of dry grass. I phoned the company and they said they will send out an inspector to check it out and they will call me back. Up to 4-5 weeks later now no one has contacted me from the company and I had to rake the grass myself and started cutting the grass because grass grows in the summer. I also noticed that they skipped my second visit to apply fertilizer and there is no explanation why, and there are weeds growing on my lawn now. I am very disappointed with their work and will never go with this company again.

I invited a door-to- door sales guy into my house to explain Dr. Green Lawn services and program. Originally I was only interested in an overseed and aeration. He talked me into taking the full package. At this time he promised me that they would skip the initial fertilization because I had already done that myself. He promised me that they would be out within one week to start my program with an aeration and overseeding. I purchased the program and handed him three cheques of $105. The next week Dr. Green came to my house and fertilized my lawn contrary to what they promised me. Three weeks later I called them wanting to know why they had not done the aeration and overseeding first like they had promised and they said that they knew best, they were the professional's. They promised to have someone out there within 48 hours. One week later I called and fired them, because they still did not come. They told me that they were keeping the balance of my first cheque, but the program would be cancelled immediately. Two weeks later they put through the second cheque. I called and told them I wanted my money back and they said that they would have somebody from accounting call me back within 2 hours. That was 2 days ago. DR. GREEN HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. DO NOT HIRE THEM! THIS IS A WARNING!

Hi I took their lawn care service in 2013 and was dissatisfied with their service so cancelled it at the end but they records have not shown that I have cancelled the service they renewed it automatically and sent someone to start fertilize my lawn and charged me for it.

Don't sign with this company. First of all, last year when they fertilized my back yard, it looked like someone tried to pee their name on my lawn! Random circles, lines everywhere. I sent pictures and complained and I said you guys better not come back next year. Well they came back and I caught him fertilizing my lawn. The worker proceeded to tell me that I was the 15th person that day that didn't ask for the service. Then they came back again. There's a spot on the form that I guess says you agree to have them come back. Anyways, a 6 year old would do a better job, save your money.

Very poor service. After signing up for the full season it took nearly 2 months for them to show up the first time. The weeds were not in control, yet the "report cards" they left always said that everything looked good. We chose not to renew for the following year (2014). Be careful because they automatically sign you up again. Two emails and a phone call were required to cancel. Since cancelling I have received almost weekly phone calls asking for me to renew my services. I've repeatedly told them no, and stated I have chosen a different service provider and am no longer interested and they still keep calling. I would not recommend Dr. Green at all.

My wife ordered lawn care service from Dr. Green Lawn Care Services weeks ago to be provided by May 15. Wasn't provided. Numerous calls since May 15 and been told that "they are coming". Each time she provided our addess. I called on Friday May 30 and was informed that the company had the wrong address. The address they claimed they had does not exist. After discussing the situation with my wife I called back to find the company closed at 5 pm Friday with no way to contact them on week-ends. Emailed the company through their website asking for a call. No call. We have ordered the services from another company who ansers their phone on the week-end. Worst customer service. Avoid at all costs!

I am very upset with Dr. Green. I decided to hire professionals this year to give me a beautiful lawn because I am putting my house up for sale at the end of the summer. First visit: Most of the lawn was done, but they skipped a rather large portion for some reason. I tried calling, but it took 6 times before I wasn't hung up on and finally got through to somebody. Customer service was good, and that's the only reason I am giving 1 star. Someone was sent out to do the portion of lawn that was missed, so I was happy. I received a notice early in May that my aerating and over seeding was going to be done on May 20th and we could not mow the lawn for 3 weeks after. We made sure to mow the grass short so it was ready to go. The 20th was a beautiful day, but nobody showed. Many days later I tried calling to see what was going on, and every time, I just kept getting hung up on. I e-mailed and explained the issue and that I could not get through, and customer service responded by sending me the phone number! I kept calling and finally got through and explained my issue, and all I was told is that they have no idea why nobody came, but they promised it would be done by that Friday. How does something like this happened in the first place? A huge company like this just forgot? Anyway, I'm writing this on Monday, Friday has come and gone. I really want my money back, I'm so angry with this company!

In 2013 their first treatment was to our neighbour's front lawn when it was supposed to be our back lawn. I contacted customer service to cancel and they convinced me to continue. I told them explicitly NOT to renew for 2014. Of course they showed in April when no one was around to make this season's first application. I also told customer service explicitly to have their service person call us before any and all applications so we could witness it in action (both my wife and I work at home). Collections called today requesting payment for the first 2014 treatment, saying they didn't have a note of cancellation of service nor for a request to call before applying service. So here is a note for Doctor Green (as you seem to be responding to these reviews). Suspend account number 11042162 immediately. Do not provide further service from May 30, 2014. Do NOT visit our property. Payment will not be made if your service person shows up. I have put up a sign in full view that Dr. Green is not to trespass. I have taken a screen capture of this review as proof of my request to cancel service. Please call us immediately to confirm cancellation.
