Dr Green Lawn Care Services reviews (1265)

Don't pay up front! I booked with them on the 14th April 2014. Saw terrible reviews of them on Television from other customers. Decided to stay with my regular company and cancelled Dr. Green on the 22nd April 2014. . Money was promised to be returned to my credit card immediately. It is now the 6th May and still no refund! I am told this a.m. that they only do refunds once a month! So, fellow garden lovers, be aware! be aware, be aware.

I am very pleased with the service that I have received from Dr. Green Services.They are prompt and polite and keep me fully informed regarding the condition of my lawn. If any further services are required they politely suggest these. I would recommend Dr. Green to my friends and neighbours.

I have been with Dr. Green more than three years. I have excellent services since I started with them. Before, I was dealing with other companies which I was not happy at all. Paying so much money and lawn/grass was not improving for the better. Dr. Green Customer Services people are excellent easy to talk to also gives good advise if I have any problems with my lawn. We are very happy with the services. Continue with the good services.

Customer service is appalling and services paid for are not being delivered. I pre-paid for power raking services. The representative indicated a crew would be out following the Easter long weekend. Call to Dr Green April 30th only to sit on hold and be asked for my contact information. Client care was too busy to take my inquiry and someone would call me back. No call back. Second call placed May 1st with the same response. I asked to speak to a supervisor as I did not receive a call back from the previous day. I spoke to a supervisor by the name of Leanne. She was going to place a call to the crew and call back within the hour with a power raking date. No call back. E-mail sent Thursday afternoon. No reply to my email. Three attempts made to resolve this issue. No reply from this company and issue still outstanding.

I have used Dr. Green for the past three years and have loved sitting on my deck,looking at a fresh healthy lawn but the best part for me is there are no dandelions.

AVOID THIS COMPANY. THEY KEEP CHARGING MONEY, No Credit card please. Worse service, on the Earth you won't be able to cancel your service and they keep billing and send you in collection.

I have been a customer of Doctor Green for 3 years and my mother 7. We LOVE their service... Neither one of us are fond of the auto renew service but its understandable that some of these companies make their business that way. Some people forget about lawn care in general, so how is anyone supposed to make business! Further more, Dr green has always done a good job on making their policies and procedures clear. I was told right when i signed up that the services renew. They even gave my mother a $50 on her account for sending me. They also helped me afford something I wanted but couldn't afford by discounting the price for that year. Doctor green is a very reasonable and understanding company and has always done a good job on my lawn. I would, and HAVE recommended them to many of my family members and friends. I actually had someone come to me yesterday and say "I switched to Trugreen because Dr green continues the service!" Well, I told my friend, as I am telling you.. Trugreen is more expensive and does the same thing. I tried them for 2 years and after that went to dr green and haven't left. Another thing I wanted to address is the refund policy.. Dr green has a no refund policy and I have heard through complaints and people that this has been a big issue. They don't offer refunds because you paid for a service to be done and they want to make you lock in so they can do a great job and you can see it by the time you need to. There is my piece, I love doctor green and will never change.

We moved into our new house on August 22nd, 2013. I happened to be out front when a Dr. Green "horticulturist" pulled up to service my neighbours yard. I started asking questions and the rep was very helpful and friendly, which gave me a confident feeling. I then set up for a fall spraying and further to that, scheduled for maintenance for 2014. I just had a power rake yesterday and the rep did a nice job of bagging the dead grass and cleaning up the area. I look forward to seeing how my lawn looks after further service.

Even though I use their most expensive "Very Best" package, over the past couple of years I've had ongoing issues with weeds and crabgrass, and poor application of top dressing and overseeding that was recommended to correct the problem. And now I think I know why. I happened to be home today, when my spring fertilization treatment was applied. I watched as the guy sat in his truck, and then only did a superficial loop in front of my house, completely ignoring one side of my house, and avoiding a good chunk of the grass beside the road. And he never even went into my backyard! I happened to catch the action on my security cameras, here for you to enjoy. Note that the first part of the video is pretty boring, as he sits in his truck until the 6:20 point, when he gets out and does his quick job before taking off. Today's service cost me $52.82. This company is not recommended!

I have been a customer of Dr. Green Lawn Care for 2 years. My grass is green and weedless. If a weed pops up I make a call and they're back to take care of it. They're prompt and courteous. I recommend Dr. Green Lawn Care
