    Lawn care In Waterloo, ON - AVOID!

    Terrible customer service. Ignore requests; services not completed; no refunds, no satisfaction guarantees are stuck. Look elsewhere for lawn care services. Customer service is non existent. Spent a lot of money and regret it. Will not be renewing services in Waterloo, ON.

    Worst Experience Ever

    This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company. I don't even know where to begin. Should I talk about how there is NO difference in my grass, or the fact that the technician went to the wrong house, did what ever they do, and left an invoice for services under MY name. The first time I got an invoice, there was no service provided and the sales person, named "Moe" told me it was an error on the technician's part where the technician had stated he provided the service but really didn't because it rained. It was never changed in the system and I was charged for that service. I had called many times to complain about how unsatisfied I was, and I was promised that a technician would come and talk to me. No one ever came. I called to cancel the service and was notified that because I had signed up for a one year plan, I had been provided with "free" fertilizer and seeding. So cancellation means I have to pay $200. To rectify ALL of this, I was once again promised that someone would come and talk to me today, I have been home all day waiting. I took off from work for this. No one showed up. I am so done with this company. This is the worst experience I have ever had. But reading the reviews, at least I am not the only one.

    Lawn Care

    This is the worst lawn care company around. They promised and I got in writing that they would spray my interlocking at each and every visit not only was my interlocking not sprayed at each visit I continued to have weeds. I called many times to complain and they kept promising that they would come out and never did. Not pleased at all

    My weeds have never looked better

    Ever since Dr. Green has been looking after our lawn it has gone steadily downhill. The weeds look wonderful, only one problem I thought I was paying to have a green lawn of grass not a green lawn of weeds. I was told last year they had issues and it was all fixed this year. Well if fixed means I have great looking weeds then they have succeeded. I had a weed spraying done a week or so ago, not one single weed died. They said they would come back to reapply. still waiting. This was actually the second time this season I had to call about weed control. Products do not work that is a given. Had the grub control done as well last year, but our lawn was still destroyed by the raccoons getting to the grubs. This year they have called many times asking if I want the treatment again. I said, "why, it does not work". Then they had the gall to ask me if I would still want the service. Still they keep calling. Guess they need the money for t he service they do not do. We will be switching next year for sure, I want grass not weeds.

    very bad sales practice

    They make phone call offer service, and assume one-sided that customer has agreed, and then start sending the bill for unknown services done. This is what happened with me. When their sales rep called, I asked them to send email with details for me to decide. I didn't receive email. They started sending bills to my house. Please keep away from this company.

    Weed control is a joke

    Their weed control is literally non-existent. Half way through the season and after a few treatments I realized my backyard weed problem is out of control. I had some sporadic spots of weeds from last year but it is 3 times worse this time. Wondering what went wrong I looked at the video footage from my security camera and found the technician only spent 7 minutes in my 6000 sf back yard, casually sprayed and disregarded the wide spots of white colver and creeping thistle. From the time he came in until he started writing the report, only 14 minutes. You don't have to repeat my mistake... forego this company completely.

    Lawn care weed control

    Terrible service. Their treatments do nothing. Nor have they fulfilled their contractual obligations or commit to their 'easy cancellation policy' Company does not respond to any communications once they have received your payment. On the first visit my pool cover was stained by fertilizer and the subsequent visit polluted my now open pool with fertilizer due to sloppy work. My landscaped gardens had grass seed spread into them making a mess of my yard. I cannot recommend this company to anyone. What a mistake.

    Weeding

    I paid for service... After one application ( less than 5 minutes) the weeds on my lawn have doubled! I was supposed to get a review of what to do to improve the lawn and they did not provide any i formation. I got more information from another company over the phone?! They refuse to give me a refund even though I signed no contract!!!!! Terrible company.

    False Promises

    These people make promises and never keep them. They're nice on the phone but no follow up. Don't use these people or be prepared to be disappointed. They burned my lawn and took 3 weeks to come out to basically put some seed down and used my own top soil as the guy didn't have any. Stay away.

    CANCELLATION

    Dr. Green was an ok company prior had no issues Customer service staff was good. Until a few years things changed. In the last few years we had some issues which usually got fix quick. Last year received my yearly statement which price seem way too much for properties due to other companies plus we were with them for a few years (5 approx). When I received my bill for year I wasn't satisfied..I contacted them and said anything better due to we have several properties with company.. I told them to not touch property until we resolve issue and price,,.. They came back and price still wasnt good didnt even change. I told them to do not touch properties until we resolve this cause due to price I will not be using them anymore... I was told by representative that he had to check with management and get back with me. 2 days later they touch one property courtesy Called and said they touched one property and make sure not to touch other properties. I then canceled and brought another company in... They then showed up on my property and I caught the guy and said that me and also my neighbor canceled and not to spray.. He said ohh ok... I go in come back out side he still spray lawn. They have been harassing me since and threatening letter and hang up calls. This company I do not recommend due to they feel they control you and then will spray and try enforce you to pay after and will be dishonest... Look at reviews in Better Business Before Hiring same issues with other clients. If anyone has same issues please file with better business to proceed in action that doesn't happen to others . Beware
