Taking advantage of Dr. Green services

We have used Dr. Green for three years now. Before we started, our lawns were a mess of Dandelions, Buttercup and other creeping weeds that just would not go away despite many hours of digging up and spot spraying. Now three years later, after taking advantage of their services, including weed control, over-seeding, fertilizing, bug and insect control, our lawns are starting to look healthy again. In support of Dr. Green’s efforts, we have learned to water the grass properly and cut to a 3” height for a healthier lawn – as suggested by Dr. Green. We are very happy with the services provided and will continue as long as we live in this house.

    Dr. Green Lawn Service

We signed up for Dr Green lawn service for 2012 and decided not to continue in 2013 as we saw no benefit whatsoever in having them service our lawn. In May 2013 I received an e-mail advising about a service visit the following day, which I immediately cancelled and reminded them about the cancellation for 2013. A month later I received an invoice for an alleged service in April which never occurred (there was no prior e-mail notification, no actual visit, and no invoice sent immediately after this "visit", which are otherwise all their routine practices). I am still being invoiced since...there is no way to get rid of this company!

    full year lawn services

TERRIBLE service and my lawn looks worse than ever! Toronto office has no clue what Calgary is doing and Calgary is completely inept. I gave them another chance after they messed up many times last year for "free aeration" ( I know - my own fault) and I've had nothing but trouble and hassle in getting service ever since. I was promised things would be much better this year... This is not rocket science, and clients shouldn't have to be so involved in simple service delivery. I have dealt with many lawn care companies over the years but never had I seen such lack of communication and coordination and conflicting information given to me. DON'T believe their promises - I am sick of being apologized to and will never use this company again! Even if it was FREE its not worth the hassle! I very rarely complain about companies and understand that we all make mistakes but this has gotten ridiculous!! STAY AWAY!! And once you pay you cannot get your money back. They are giving me a free winter boost instead. The one plus side - customer service reps are very friendly but that doesn't follow through to service quality, timeliness or followup.

Happy with the service of Doctor Green

I am happy with the service of Doctor Green. I realize it is difficult to get rid of weeds now with the new regulations against pesticides. Whenever I have had a problem it has been taken care of very quickly.

Neighbours have commented on how nice and healthy our lawn looks

We are very happy with the service we receive from Dr. Green Lawn Care. Several neighbours have commented on how nice and healthy our lawn looks and we have noticed a reduction in weeds. We will definitely continue to use your reliable and effective service for the general maintenance of a healthy lawn and any new problems we should encounter.

    Lawn treatments

I have been a customer for many years and my neighbours regularly comment that my lawn always looks so good. They want to know what I do, to it? I tell them that Dr. Green treats it regularly, I just cut and water as needed. We’ve been very satisfied with Dr. Green over the years! Thank you

    Dr. Green Lawn Care

I have sent in 2 emails..1 today and 1 from a week ago. You can read below about their crummy so called lawncare.. What a shabby outfit you are, no wonder my neighbor cancelled you!!...My wife called today fot the third time this year. When the weed control was done in June, it was ineffective due to rain. I was told to watch and see and it may take a while. When you finally came back, it was early July and there was a storm beginning shortly after you left. When I phoned the office, concerned again about our weeds, I was assured that only the fertilizer was applied because of the pending rain and that you would be back to do the weeds. No one came back! So when I phoned today, I was told that our August application was scheduled for August 6th and you would be out then.. When I emphasized that our July weed control was not given and that June's was a washout and that our weeds needed doing NOW i was told that the weed control was written applied for July which I know it was NOT. I sent you an email about a week ago with no response, maybe your crummy so called customer service dropped the ball...Below is what I sent. We have been using Dr. Green on and off for several years now, but I believe next year will be time to switch services. My wife has called you several times wondering when you will be out to look after the weeds and you said soon, yada, yada. Seems everywhere I walk down our street where other people use other services, Weedman etc, I see no weeds on their lawn like I see on ours. Coming out a couple of times to fertilize is not my idea of lawn care, so next year it'll be time to use a service I see my neighbors have, as their lawn looks a hell of a lot better than mine. BTW: You got the "WeedMan" s number handy?

    lawn service

Terrible company to deal with not even to the point of the service yet. Cancelled the initial service through e-mail since can't get hold of somebody on the phone. Four days after cancellation, technician showed up and did the application while the other service provider that we contacted already have the stick on the ground. We're not aware that they're coming and assumed that they got the e-mail cancellation. Now after the application, I was able to talk to a rep and he's saying we can't cancel unless we pay the first service. I think this is their tactic dupe you for the 1st application and you're hooked and your obligated to pay. This is what they're saying, they can't cancel unless you pay the balance and cancellation can't be done through e-mail. Where on their site says, that's the case. There are other providers that are more reliable for less their price. Do you expect reliable treatment applications if you're dealing with this company?

    Keep Up the Good Work!

I am very pleased with the process that Dr. Green uses to communicate with their customers. The emails notifying me of upcoming lawn treatments keeps us aware of when to expect a visit. Also, the follow-up notes left by the person who actually performs the service are always helpful and appreciated. Keep up the good work!

Satisfied with the service from Doctor Green

So far this season, I have been satisfied with the service that I have received from Doctor Green lawn services. For the past few years I was with another lawn care company and my lawn looked worse than my neighbours' lawns, and they were not with any lawn care company. I appreciate the fact that I receive an email notifying me of the next scheduled service. If the good service continues and I see results with the weed and insect control, I will be renewing my contract with Doctor Green.
