I used their service for 2012 season. In spring 2013 they again started the service without letting me know and send me the first bill of 53 $ for fertilizer treatment. I was shocked and called them and to my surprise they have renewed the contract without asking me. Somehow talked to manager and after long argument she waived the fee but when I tried to cancel my account they asked me to pay. What a greedy people they are. Even after cancelling all service for 2013, they came again yesterday and hang bill of 53 $ on my door. So again I have to waste my time and energy with their agent. Never go with this guy...instead of ripping off the people they shoud start asking for donation for their bead and butter.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Not only do they not show up for lawn care services. They refuse to give refunds for services not rendered. NEVER NEVER dealing with them again. Warning stay away

My first and I am sure last experience with Dr.Green. I do not know what exactly the guys did to the lawn. Hopefully nothing serious and it still can be repaired, because it looks worse than last year. After several calls they finally came in April and spread fertilizer (probably too much. As there are barren patches and no grass growing any more, I mean NO grass at all. But the weed is growing like crazy. It is Calgary and they can not say there was not enough water. To summarize: Not professional. Rip off. Do not let them come close to your lawn!!

It has been 8 weeks since my first treatment and I have been told that each treatment is spaced out 5 to 6 weeks apart. I keep getting emails that someone is coming but no show!! Terrible service. I regret having recommended them to do my parents lawn.!!!

Be very careful with Dr. Green. They will continue to bill you from season to season even if you don't agree to the services. I signed on last year with a door to door person, who did not clearly explain this. Then they came this year while I was not home and treated my lawn and billed me. When I called, Customer service attitude this year was "too bad for me". Tried to contact the owner and he never responded. A very deceptive business model to just go around and treat laws without permission, and then backcharge them. May not be illegal, but is nonetheless unethical and misleading. They should send a reminder notice out to people in the spring like the other lawn care companies do, and ask if we want to continue. I hope they are happy with the $44 I had to pay, because I will never deal with them again and will be sure to do all I can to discourage anyone else from doing so.

The worst company ever,PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I hired this company to do my lawn. They sprayed my neighbors lawn,but not mine. I had prepaid for the year.I had to call them several times,every time they would say that someone will come over and take care of my lawn. Nothing happened and i had to discontinue the service. To my surprise ,they said that they would not give me a refund since the sale was final. It is a terrible company! STAY away!

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! After reading the review and against my better judgement I ordered one of their packages, this was close to 4 weeks ago. At that time I was told I would someone would be out within 7 business days. I have not heard or seem anyone since. I have tried to call repeatedly and the lines are either busy or for some "odd" reason my calls seem to get dropped. Please trust the reviews and stay away from the company.

I signed up for the service for what I thought was one year - on inadvertently I had agreed to "continuous service" which means they come until you tell them to stop. ( I thought it meant service continues for the year) , this year they service my lawn I called them and said I did not want the service and they said you still have to pay the $58 for the one visit. I refused and said the terms of the new agreement (which BTW are more than last year) were not specified.I was going to use them next year, my parent use them but not anymore. I'll take this to SCC and see what happens - DON'T USE THEM

First of all the front line call centre I believe did their best given what they had to work with. However the service people have left such a bad taste in my month I have cancelled all services with this company. The show up unannounced and left my back gate open which allowed my dog to run free. Had a long talk regarding there call ahead policy and was reassured we were set up and running properly. Now I am getting notifications, but not getting service?? I was also promised a refund, as I prepaid for the entire year. Guess ill see how long that takes? Moving over to the other lawn care company who will be much more reliable

Company policy is to ignore the customer. I cancelled my service late in 2012 as I did not want a core aeration or last fertilization. The came anyway and completed areation and charged me. Come the spring of 2013 I came home from work to see a sign on the front lawn that they had returned and sprayed. I called to complain and to make sure I didn't get charged, to which they said that "this happens all the time and she would take care of it". I told her I hoped that meant that the bill will be zero and she said it would. Flash fwd to present day and I have recieved 3 phone calls from them: the first one was to try to understand why I cancelled the services and to get me back, the 2nd one was to tell me that I owed for the spray this year and the 3rd call was to ask if I would be willing to pay half of what the cost of a treatment was to close the file. How these people stay in business is beyond me and to treat people this way instead of running an honest business with understanding that people change their minds for various reasons. I was told at initial contact that I could cancel service at anytime, which obviously a way to suck you in.
