Our Licensed plumber visited your home free of charge and gave you a professional opinion on a drain issue that you have for a while with your kitchen stuck and trying to fix on your own with handy equipment for an X amount of time. When our plumbing specialist found that your stuck full of water he tried to protect your belonging against flood and damages that it could cause. He was following the policy and establish the pricing based on a company price book after diagnosing the drain problem at your home. We are not providing any pricing without seeing the problem and we call that professionalism and respectful treating of the customer. The same way we are not able to fix a problem over the phone. We are giving a price before to do any job and no matter how long it is gonna take us to fix the problem the price would not change. It is good that you fixed your problem on your own and push the blockage from the stuck to the main drain but it does not mean you treated your drain in a professional way!
