    Clogged toilet

    My main toilet was clogged and unusable. Had company coming within four hours. WHAT TO DO? I phoned Drain Rescue Services and a young man came within two hours to clear the blockage using an auger. I was very relieved and grateful for his professional and personable service. Will certainly recommend this company to any of my friends who might need their services. Thank you.

    Sewage backup, drain repair

    I had sewage water backup at night. Vince, the plumber, was sent within an hour. With the water in the basement, Vince was unable to unclog the drain but helped guide me to resolve the problem. During the crisis and the city was having floods in many places as well, Vince tried his best to have the crew ready the next morning. During the repair with the trench open, underground water came in to the trench at an alarming level, Drain Rescue answered my concern and sent Vince to address the problem before the crew could come in to continue the repair. I end up replacing the whole clay pipe (with some minor issue), but seeing how hard and labor intensive the job is, I feel the big money spent is still justified. My thanks to the whole crew (many people involved), Vince, Nigel, Daniel in particular and the office staff as well.

    Bathtub Tap

    Bathtub tap was leaking. Would not shut off. Plumber arrived soon after my phone call. Professional & Clean. Completed the job with patience even though he had difficulties removing the cartridge. Follow - up call the next day. I will call again. Thank you

    Bathroom

    Identified and fixed a broken valve in the toilet that was causing a leak. They did the work late at night on the same day that I called in order to accommodate my scheduling limitations.

    $300.00 to snake a toilet

    I had a light clog in my toilet. Called these guys to come by because their website said ‘competitive rates’. The guy came in and uttered that it would be $60.00. Took him no more than 5 minutes to snake the toilet and he gave me a bill for $260 plus tax coming to $300! I guess he uttered $260!! Who in the world would think it would be $300 to snake a toilet? I asked him why it was so high? It only took him 5 minutes. He said that’s the price in the books. I called customer service and they said the plumbers set their own rates but have the book as guidance? Supposedly I should have negotiated the rate with the guy even though he made it seem like the company has set this in stone. I really feel ripped off. Poor business practice to charge that much for a few minutes of work.

We do charge by the job and not by the hour as we feel it is unfair to overcharge customers for work that can be completed in a timely manner. With that said, we do have certain things that factor into our costs which is why you were charged $258.00 plus tax.     Double Sump Pump Emergency!

    Out door water shut off for hose bed to prevent freezing pipes

    Very professional and courteous. On time and fixed my issue the first time. Even and in cold weather and stuck with the job until it was to finished. Wore little booties to keep my carpet clean as I led them threw my house to the backyard. These people care.thank you

    Fixing a home renovation (all plumbing)

    We had a renovation done that needed to be fixed as the plumbing was incorrectly done. Drain rescue came following a flood in our house, found multiple other problems and fixed them all! They were professional, on time, so friendly and extremely helpful.

    Drain Rescue Plumbers

    Our emergency drain situation was taken care of in a very professional and timely manner. We called for an estimate and they were on top of it. Kept their promise to fix the problem and help us get funding from the city.
