After the guy arrived he bring the snake thing down so I thought he will look and give the estimate and after 20 mins he said, the drain is clogged very bad if we need to fix it it will cost us $ 1200 CAD and charged us $ 280 .I don't understand he come for free estimate and charged 280. Please be aware of the free estimate trap!

    Wasted Money

Stay away from them.. I will not recommend them. We had a very bad and expensive experience with them. Our Dishwasher started leaking. When the technician came, he did not even take out the dishwasher to understand the main reason for leakage. When we asked him to look at the root cause by taking out the dishwasher, he dismissed our view and instead just sealed a mushroom pipe in the front base. He just sealed it from the bottom. He charged ~$384 for a work less than 30 min. The issue started again within few days. They assured that we had a warranty for a month. When we called them, they didn't even agree to come over and look at the issue again. We finally had to call a local handyman who took the dishwasher out and found the root cause of the problem and charged just 1 hr labor.

Replacement of main drain stack and toilet lead.

The work was done quickly and efficiently. The area was left clean by the worker. He was friendly and answered any questions we had. The original quote was what we paid, no extra charges. the service was friendly from start to finish and the supervisor who quoted the cost and later came back to tighten the toilet down was very cordial. I would recommend the company to any of my friends and family. Cheers, Jack and Mary Toronto, ON

Big Repair Estimate For an Easy Fix

We had a small sewage back-up in our basement on a Sunday morning. I googled these guys and called and they had a serviceman here in a couple of hours. He came in and sent a camera down the drain, called me in and told me he couldn't get past this mass of tree roots (without even trying to snake it). We had clay pipes, the pipes were busted and they would have to dig (under my cement driveway) but the good news is they could have somewhere here tomorrow, replace a 5' section and replace it with PVC pipe for $3800, that was reduced to $3400 when I hesitated at making a decision. I said I wanted to look at other options as i wasn't too excited about having my driveway ripped up and was told he'd hold the price until 9pm that night. I called another company. They came in, snaked out the drain and provided me with a CD copy of the video, showing the tree roots in the drain on the city part (down by the street) of my property, all for $475. Unfortunately I had to pay $280 to these guys first just so that they could try and panic me into doing the quick repair. Pretty sure i won't be hearing back from them.

Fixed one issue, broke other things.

Called them to have a cracked p trap on a wash tub replaced, which is attached to a sump and NEEDS to be flowing, or else I'll have flooding. (The p trap was broken when I attempted to snake it - the snake drove through the rotted metal.) The technician who came by insisted that my home drain was clogged, and that he would need to snake the entire drain system out to the road. (You could SEE the hole in the p trap.) Once I insisted that he only replace the p trap, he finally got to work. When I came to check on what was taking so long, I found that he had opened an access panel on the wall, and broken the cleanout access on the pluming stack. When I called him out on it, he insisted it was broken already (it wasn't, I had just been working there) and that it needed to be replaced, along with the entire drainage under the floor, because the stack was too small. (The stack serves one sink - by code it need only be a 2" line, which it is.) Now I'm stuck replacing 6 feet of drain line, plus redoing the trap attachment from the was tub, simply to fix what the "technician" broke. Don't use these people.

    Installing a faucet

Fantastic service! I have been a customer with the company for quite some time. Most recently, we had a faucet installed. Licensed plumbers and the cost was reasonable for the work. No complaints!

    Very professional service

We had to get a full replacement of the old clay sewer pipe from our house to the property line, after our sewer started backing up. We called Drain Rescue because in our online search their ad indicated they could have someone there in an hour. True to the ad, they had someone at our house within an hour in the late evening to try and clear the blockage from the floor drain inside the house, but he discovered it was a larger problem and told us a crew would return in the morning. As promised, they started work the next day to explore the drain and discovered roots all through the pipe, with some sections collapsed. Jason, the supervisor, recommended a full replacement with plastic seamless pipe. He was extremely helpful throughout the process, making suggestions of what the insurance company would cover, and being very understanding about the financial shock we were experiencing. The crew was very professional - they showed up when they said they would, did exactly what Jason described they would do, and despite the amount of dirt they produced in the basement during the job, they left virtually no mess inside the house when they were done. I would definitely recommend this company for major sewer repairs.

    Sewer pipe restoration

Clogged sewer line caused waste water backup into basement. Drain Rescue determined where the problem was and dug a 7 x 5 foot deep hole to expose the pipe. The team replaced the portion that was affected by tree roots and videoed beyond that point to show areas that would become problematic in the future. I was given an estimate for reference. No hard sales pitch.

    Over priced

325.00 to snake a kitchen drain less than one hour of time. Broke a pipe, said it was our problem and wanted to charge another 500.00 and then claimed that they were not sure that the drain was cleared. Wanted to charge 1700.00 to power flush the drain to make sure... all this time my wife is alone dealing with this. Fortunately i called home to find our what was going on. Told the plummer to leave my house and I would reluctantly pay for his overpriced bill.. called in another plummer the next day .. charged 250.00 to repair the broken pipes and this included having to re-snake the drain as it was still clogged!! Complained to the company and got nowhere!
