    Drain repair

    The emergency drain repair came in on the weekend. Drain Rescue Plumbers used two crews to help with the job. The first crew was AMAZING - very contentious and careful. Unfortunately the job scope expanded and the work was discovered to be larger than initially thought. The second crew brought in was not as careful - some of the flooring which wasn't removed for the excavation was damaged. My biggest disappointment was regarding the payment. Originally the work was to be completed on Monday, and after leaving a sizable deposit, the workers were to leave an invoice which we could pay once the banks were open on Tuesday (since it was a bank-holiday long weekend). However at 6pm on Saturday when the 2nd team finished early they insisted the payment in full, even though all banks were closed. After several stressful calls, and maxing out what e-transfers would allow, they graciously allowed me until Sunday morning - even though banks were still closed. This demanding on immediate payment and the expectation that the average person would have well over $10,000 laying around did not make sense. I understand they are concerned about non-payments - but that is why they had a significant deposit before the work started. I liked their work - just their attitude towards payments doesn't really reflect reality.

    Dishonest Practices

    The plumber was boldly dishonest in trying to up sell. I called this company in to snake a clogged main drain. I was promptly informed that main line was damaged beyond repair and needed to be replaced right away. I started to become suspicious when the quote was unusually high. When I questioned to the price, he re-quoted at 25% less - this only increased my suspicions. So I called in another plumber for a second opinion, he was able to easily unclog the drain. Line inspections did not show any significant deterioration. I called back this company to lodge a complaint, no answer. Left voicemail, haven't heard back for a few weeks now....very disappointing...

    Backup in Basement

    My mother had a sewer back up in her basement, Jason from Drain Rescue showed up to assess the situation and showed us the condition of our pipes and we decided to replace the whole sewer line to avoid having this issue again. He was very helpful and assisted us throughout the whole project making sure we knew what was going on all along the way. Clean work and left our place cleaner then when we started! I would definitely use them again and refer to friends and family for future needs. Thank you!

    Full drain/sewage pipe replacement

    Called drain rescue as soon as there was a problem around 5pm, plumber (Jason) was at my house by 8pm that night. Identified the problem right away. Although it isn’t a problem I’d wish on anybody, Jason took the time to call my insurance for me and go over what I’m covered for and what I’m not. The problem was fixed within 4 days. The crew worked all day even on weekends. Would recommend the company and especially Jason any time.

    Water and sewer drain pipe

    Unbelievable fast response to our call, they were here within 45 minutes of our call. Amazing workers especially Vince who was here from start to finish with us. He is an extremely hard worker. Also Was the second man who helped him. Jason was our first person who responded and guided us through everything. Highly recommended company in our books

    Replaced Sewer Pipe and Replaced Sewer Backup Valve

    On a Saturday night we discovered water backing up into our furnace room. DRP sent out a man two hours later and he determined that we had a broken line out to the street. Sunday morning Peter and Charles arrived, followed by supervisor Phil. For a nervous home-owner, it was like watching open heart surgery. The crew did a great job of repairing the line and installing a backup valve. The city inspector approved it without any modifications and the work site was cleaned to our satisfaction.

    Drain replacement, new water service, sewer pipe and sewer backup valve

    We had new water service, drains, sewer backup valve and sewer pipe connection to city done in July and August of 2017. Phil who diagnosed the problems and helped us navigate city sewer blockage issues was a real pleasure to work with. A true professional he was always available to answer our questions. The two DR crews (shout out to Peter and Oleg!) were fast and efficient. They really worked hard to ensure things were done on time and they cleaned up once the job was done. I'd highly recommend Drain Rescue to anyone who needed this type of work done.

    Plumbing kitchen sink

    prompt and explained the issues that I had. A little more expensive than I thought but it was the first time I called a plumber so hard to compare with anything else.

    Replacement of sewer pipes from clay

    Our basement laundry room was flooding so we called Drain Rescue on a Friday afternoon at approximately 2:00. Within 45 minutes Jason came to assess the situation and was professional...knowlegeable and very courteous. He answered all our questions and explained we had to have the city do a locate and the work could commence. I have heard horror stories that it takes 2 to 3 weeks for this to be done but they were here in 2 days. He told me Drain Rescue had placed us as urgent so we were placed high on the priority list. I was so grateful that the company would do that for us. Ours was a big job so it took 5 days total and the two gentlemen that did the work were working non stop and let us know what was happening every step of the way. They laid down tarp and drop sheets so there was minimal mess and were so friendly. They cleaned so well...i was impressed. Also they worked both Saturday and Sunday. Very professional job. I would highly recommend Drain Rescue to my friends and family. The cost was a little more than anticipated but our original sewage lines were 65 years old and clay and we have a big property. They had to dig into our neighbours lawn so we are waiting for the company to re sod which the manager said will be done in a day or so.

    Sewer pipe/floor drain /sump pump project

    I can't speak highly enough about my experience with the entire team at Drain Rescue Plumbers! DWAYNE was an outstanding consultant who did a walk through of both the basement and exterior and explained thoroughly the problems and solutions. He instilled tremendous confidence in his team. When the team arrived the crew were respectful , efficient, well organized and worked very hard. The crew were amazing actually. The city inspector was happy with their work and they finished 1 day early. The job site was cleaned up and Dwayne provided great follow up. Thank you also to Melissa at the office for coordinating !! Highly recommended!!
