    Major Clogged Breather Causing Basement Flooding

    As a homeowner, nothing is more devastating as a basement flood. After a major rainstorm on June 19/07 I had a major flood with water coming up both basement drains. I called Drainworks, after reading about their Consumer Choice awards, and was told that someone would be there is 45 mins. Jeremey H arrived in under 45 minutes and I was immediately impressed by his pleasant, professionalism. He was able to relieve the clog and made a recommendation of work that should be done. It was reasonably priced, and I did not feel that I was being taken advantage of. The crew that arrived the next day, was on time, (actually early), cleanly dressed (nothing is more off putting than service people in clothes that don't look like they have ever been washed) and set to work. They worked unbelieveably hard and finished in a reasonable time and left my driveway immaculate. Jeremy returned, checked everything, putting my mind totally at ease. I will be recommending Drainworks to all my friends.

    drain inspection

    We had received a quote to do extensive work from another company that had put a camera down our drains. This company had told us we needed to replace the old clay pipe under our house. We called Drain works for a second opinion and a technician named Jeremy came to our home and showed me on the camera that our pipes were old but in good condition. He indicated that they would last another 10 to 15 years. By calling in Drainworks we saved thousands of dollars in unecessary repairs.

    Drain replacement/repair

    Armando and his crew did an excellent job when they repaired and replaced our sewage drain. Actually when the back-up occurred Sunday June 3, Matthew was there within the hour and opened up the drain sufficiently to release the backed-up sewage from the basement. Even though the damage was done, it was gratifying that the length of time we were in that state was minimized by their quick action. The subsequent repair was done in a most professional manner and we were apprised all the way along as to what the problem(s)was and the required fix. At no time did I feel pressured or misled on any aspect of the job which is really important because it does build trust. The clean-up and final inspection were exemplary. In fact the company that has been doing the interior clean-up for us remarked on the great job that was done and asked what firm had done the work. I was more than happy to make this referral and I was told they will definitely consider using DrainWorks in the future. Again many thanks for a job well done!

    Replace 53' of sewer drain

    Armando and his team including Adrian and Eugene were extremely professional and respectful. They not only showed us all the problems with our drain using a camera inspection, but explained every issue and gave us several options regarding the work and ways to complete it. Armando gave us an option which prevented us having to tear up a floor in our newly completed rec room in the basement, saving us money and inconvenience. Tarps were laid down and every care was taken not to make a mess or leave foot tracks through our house. They always arrived on time and even early, and Armando had extra crew on a Saturday to complete the job as quickly as possible. The crew even took care when digging a hole at the front of my house to keep the plants from the garden, even though I had said it was okay to get rid of them. A final inspection was also timely and efficient, and demonstrated what an overall great job had been done. I would highly reccommend Drainworks to anyone needing this type of service, you will not be disappointed. Thanks to Armando, Adrian, Eugene and the rest of the crew. Best regards, Lynda Cudney

    Kitchen drain clog

    We had a tough kitchen clog that liquid drano couldn't fix. Calling a plumbing company was my last resort, but I'm glad I found DrainWorks. They came the same day I called (a Sunday). It was a challenging job, but Jeremy took care of it. He was professional, friendly, explained everything he was doing, and the price was more than reasonable. I highly recommend this company and wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

    bathroom tub backed upsnaked 40 feet to release

    Replacing sewer trap including associated pipe

    18 people on our street have had their old ceramic sewer trap crumblein the last 8 years so I have seen just about every company possible do this type of work. I was impressed with DrainWorks after I saw them do a wonderful job of fixing the same job for our neighbour. However, I did get other quotes and, they were by far the lowest - as well they stuck to it. They gave me a detailed explanation of what needed to be done and an equaloly guaranteed quote. They came over as quickly as possible and managed to be here an entire day early. They also called to confirm their arrival. They were curteous (they even wore slippers in the house, covered the lawn with a tarp and did as little damage as possible to the ground), friendly, amazingly efficient, gave frequent updates and gave a good explanation of their findings. They hadn't even left my yard before we recommended them to another family with an urgent problem. It has only been 4 hrs since they left and my friend has called back saying they hired DrainWorks and all is well. They also managed to catch my runaway puppy and went so far as to arrange a city inspector on short notice and have gone to the trouble of filing the grant application for me. Thanks Lou and crew!

    House main drain issue

    Armando and his team were terrific ! My excellent experience with DrainWorks started with the initial call after they came highly recommended to me from a good friend. The first service representative I spoke with asked very specific & qualifying questions that made me feel comfortable instantly that he understood my issue. He was also attentive & courteous. They showed up at the designated time and completed the work as outlined to me. Great job ! You cannot tell that I had any drain work completed once they left. They put our garden right back to where it was before they started. That is a very big pet peeve of mine when dealing with contractors in any trade. If they clean your space after work completed to the original state, they ROCK and I will highly recommend them to friends just like I am here.

    Backed up drainpipe due to tree roots

    I went outside after the work was finished to see how things looked and was amazed at the fact that it didn't even look as if things were touched. I have never seen such cleanlliness or dealt with such lovely people. Å true joy!!!

    Get rid of smell from bathroom sinks

    The DrainWorks technician, Jeremy, was professional and competent. He listened carefully to what the symptoms were and then told us what he was going to do. He reported back to us after the work was finished that he had removed considerable material from the drain. We have had no smell since the work was done. We will call this company again with any of our plumbing needs.
