    Basement flooding

    Had a slow leak in my basement and the guys on the job did a great job of zeroing in on the problem, fixing and then cleaning up. I can't say enough about the job they did. We were very impressed throughout the process, and then very relieved when we saw how tidy they left the area.

    Replace clay breather with PVC traps

    Called on Tuesday, got a quote, scheduled work for the next morning and had final inspection that night. Very happy with the staff, their communication and the work itself. Would highly recommend and if needed (I hope not) will call them again.

    Investigation of a blockage and replacement of defective pipe

    The staff was very knowledgable and took the time to explain everything in a courteous manner. The quote was reseonable and the work was finished on time and on costs. The cleanup was done in such a way that no evedence of the work was left. In this day and age I was ready to sign off on customer service, I am very ipmressed in drain works as they restored my faith in customer service oriented companies. On a seperate note the sick kids program is very effective and I congratulate you in making it part of your sales process may whatever God you worship bless you.

    Searching for a drain

    Called DrainWorks to investigate what caused our sewer line to back-up into our basement. Long story short, Jeremy investigated and offered a number of possible suggestions at different price-ranges with zero pressure. He solved the problem on the spot. This problem was weighing on us pretty hard and DrainWorks not only fixed it, but set our minds at ease in doing so.

    Cleared drain

    Worst nightmare. You invite people to stay in your spare room with a private 3 pc bathroom and the toilet doesn't work. The drain is clogged. When the upstairs toilet is flushed their drain floods. Plus no time to fix it. We said goodbye to our lovely guests with the patience of job. I called DrainWorks at 5 PM and at 6 PM Jeremy was downstairs and at work. By 7 PM I was paying my invoice. He was quick. Clean. Polite. Informative. This is the second time we've called for assistance from DrainWorks and would recommend them for quick and effective service.

    Kitchen Sink slow running water / blockage

    I called DrainWorks Friday evening and William took the call and promised someone will be coming on-site the next day. William followed-up next day morning and informed technicians time of arrival. Phil who was the tech on-site and on-time assessed the situation and gave un-biased opinion and very professional. Only thing Drian Works can improve is by not charging for the initial on-site visit to give quotation; if you are confident you will be competitive with pricing and work, you should give the initial visit and estimate free of charge. Good work Drain Works, Truly a professional company.

With that being said, we did want to give you some insight as to why we have our assessment fee for plumbing services. The reason for this $69.00 fee is to cover the costs of sending a licensed, insured plumber to your home in a fully equipped truck and with all the necessary insurances required(WSIB, vehicle insurance, etc) to give you a fair, unbiased quote. Remember, our plumbers get paid to fix problems, not sell services, unlike most plumbers in the city, who work solely on commission. Hopefully, this has given you some insight into our practices, and we look forward to being the plumbing and drain service provider you rely on in the future.

    replacing drainage system

    Our experience with Drainworks and specifically Mike was exceptional. We bought an old house and thought it would be a good idea to have our drains scoped since we were pretty sure that they were clay and we had heard that clay pipes are know to break or get tree roots in them.. Mike came out and used the camera to locate the drains and informed us that our u bend was shattered and needed to be replaced - he gave us the option of waiting it out but mentioned that it was only a matter of time before things started to back up into the basement. while there he scoped the rest of the basement and discovered that there were roots in all of the lines under the house. Understanding that this was a huge undertaking for us, Mike and the team at Drainworks did their best to make it as painless as possible financially as well as getting in and out quickly (2 days). Since part of the basement was already trenched we decided to get rid of the Galvanized plumbing line again they were more then fair with us on the cost. The crew was fast and tidy. As is often the case with older houses, they uncovered a few additional things that needed to be addressed and again, they were more then fair with the cost to replace those. I would highly recommend this company and I am really happy that we decided to scope the drains before we moved in and before we renovated the basement! It would have been a real bummer to have the drains back up after the basement was done. Thanks to the team at Drainworks we don't have to worry about that for a lifetime - since that is how long they guarantee their work for - can't beat that! Thanks Drainworks for all the hard work and a special thanks to Mike who took a ton of time explaining everything to us and being extremely, patient, understanding and fair.

    bathroom - toilet seal issue

    fixed the problem in a short period of time; was very polite and professional; explained to me what the issues could be; cost was in line with what was discussed up front.

    kitchen sink back up

    My kitchen sink had a back up. The techinian arrived on time and made a professional diagnosis of the problem. Made 2 attempts to clear the blockage, but failed. Although additional attempts offered for additional charge, I declined the offer as I have awared that the problem must be solved ultimately by replacing the drainage pipes.

    Root filled pipes!

    Flooded basement, sewage pipes not working. Mike came in a gave me an honest assessment, and took care of the problem. I had another company in here 4 years ago that tried to make the problem worse. Mike is a good honest family man, what more can you ask for as a consumer. will use this company again as I had another good experience with a broken shower drain and another employee here. seems like they hire great ppl.
