    Toliets leaking

    The toilets in my home were leaking. Based on the reviews from Homestars, I called Drainworks. The plumber that came to my home suggested that they all needed to be replaced - that fixing them would not be a good solution longterm. I went along with his suggestion, not really knowing any better. The cost was quite sustantial - over $300 for each toilet. Furthermore, as he was fixing them, he tired to add on more cost by telling me that now the supply valve needed to be changed and he could not warranty the service if there was to be a leak. He told me that I leak could be so severe that it could damage my downstairs ceiling. I felt that he was just trying to get more money from me. Needless to say, after such an expensive repair job, I will not be using their service again.

    Floor Drain Blockage, camera scope and snaking

    I found DrainWorks on the Internet and recognized the company from seeing their vans on the road. All of my questions were answered when I spoke with Will on the phone, and I was pleased to find he could provide an estimate for the camera scope over the phone. He said he could have a technician at my house within a few hours. I said I wanted to do some cost comparisons and he understood. He told me to feel free to do some investigation but was kind enough to share with me what makes DrainWorks stand apart from other drain companies. It didn't take long for me to call Will back. When I asked if there was an additional charge because it was after 6 pm on a Friday, I was so surprised to find the rates are the same any time of day or night, weekday or weekend. The technician, Matt, showed up right on time and the comfort I had with DrainWorks over the phone grew once Matt started explaining the problem. He took his time to help us understand our situation and what our options were. He was professional and his experience and ability shone through as he worked. He took great care to ensure he cleaned up the work area before he left. It's never nice to find there is a problem with your household plumbing, but getting it fixed so quickly and by such a customer service focused company made the experience much easier. Thank you very much.

    Backed-up Shower Drain

    Our recommendation of Drainworks is because of their promptness and professionalism in service. They snaked our backed-up shower drain quickly and the technicians (Mike and Eric) wore booties and cleaned up the bathroom with disinfectant before they left. Jean-Paul was courteous and informative on the phone in providing quotes, options and in setting up the appointment. Keep up the great work!

    Object Removal from Drain

    Drainworks made my night. I foolishly attempted to seal an open drain in my home with a cap. The cap fell into the drain, clogging it! Within 90 minutes, Jeremy was at my door. He used the camera to find the cap, used a fancy wire trick to get into the right pipe, and was easy to get along with. Despite my being a complete fool, he made it seems like this was perfectly normal! Thank you Drainworks. (They would get a 10, but the phone salesman was a bit pushy)

    unclog a toilet

    I've used DrainWorks many many times (too many). They are always fast, efficient, and courteous. I just wish that the cost was a bit less - but no choices there.

    Basement drain back-up

    The day I called Drainworks, Mike came over to assess the damage and quote me their price. Two workmen came the following morning and they had the floor dug, drain replaced and re-cemented within six hours. During the process they broke the ceiling light and were working in the dark part of the time. When they left they made no mention of the damage and I had no light in the basement. I had to follow up to have the problem resolved.

    Blocked drains

    This company is exceptional when you have a drainage issue. A few years ago I had some tree roots in the drains and these folks responded quickly ( 1 hr ) the blockage was removed and remedial actions suggested. The works was done quickly and efficiently. Last week the tree roots appeared again and the floor was dug up to remove and replace pipes that had been breached by the root system. This was all done on one day, no problems, inspected and a camera used to make sure that everything was perfect up and down stream.The site was cleaned up and all debris removed and closed in with concrete. They were there at 8.00 a.m. and gone by 4.00 p.pm. You would hardly notice that they were there.If I have any issues with my drains or plumbing. I suggest Drain works. They are reliable, prompt. efficient. I recommend them without reservations. Iain Munro East York.

    clear floor drain pipe

    We had some water backing up from the floor drain. I did a quick inspection and realized that the job was too big for me. I took a look for a plumbing company on the internet and I recognized the picture of the DrainWorks company truck as having worked in my neighbourhood. I called and was handled very professionally on the phone. The person scheduled an appointment for me and even called me back to let me know that the truck was on its way. A person who introduced himself as Matt arrived very quickly and took a look at the job. He walked me through all of the possible outcomes and made some recommendations. I accepted his estimate and advice and he proceeded to work on the drain. Matt had the drain cleared very quickly and he kept the work area very clean. I was extremely impressed with the service I received from DrainWorks - right from my initial telephone contact to the completion of the job by Matt. We were so pleased that we were up and running very quickly by calling DrainWorks.

    Drain backup, basement

    My drain in the basement backed up after doing the laundry one day, so I called Drainworks. My email was responded to within 10 minutes, and I had a technician come out right away. The problem was diagnosed within an hour, and the work was completed the next day. The crew was efficient, fast and clean, and by the day after they left it was as if they had never been there. I would highly recommend this company. It was a pleasure to have such great customer service.

    Clogged drain

    Had a clogged drain - repairman had to work hard to remove a huge clump of hair - than checked all the sinks to make sure everything was working well
