Dave was awesome to deal with! We got our door in perfect time and installation was flawless. Encore holds their customers in high regard and shows respect for any job - big or small.

Encore Windows provided a solution to our noise problem. We live on 18th floor on a high rise on Bloor East. The fire station close by has consistently bothered my sleep, I am a very sensitive sleeper and wear earplugs. Even while wearing earplugs I would often be woken by the noise. Dave and his team recommended soundproof windows for us. The first windows installed were not soundproof enough and we were offered windows with a significantly thicker laminate at a marginal additional cost to us. Though we can still hear the fire engines go by they no longer bother me when sleeping, I still wear earplugs. I appreciate the way that Dave and his team were committed to finding the best solution for us. For those suffering from noise pollution I woud recommend soundproof windows.

Encore Home improvements have been incredible to us in Milton. They show up on time, they are neat, they do great work that is guaranteed. We couldn't be happier with our windows and wouldn't call anyone else. Highly recommended!!

After spending some time shopping around for windows, we decided to go with Encore Windows as Mike was thorough, attentive and competitive. We also insisted on using a company that was Window Wise certified. New windows are only as good as the installation. We read the reviews on several companies, but Encore came ahead of everyone else because Mike wanted our business and did everything to ensure we made the right selection for our home. We were in a rush to get the windows installed and once the contract was signed, the windows arrived ahead of schedule. To our surprise, the crew arrived on time and completed the job ahead of schedule and on budget. I would definitely recommend Encore Windows to anyone who needs to replace their windows. I’m so pleased with the installation and the completion of the project, that I intend to call them in the spring to replace my front door and two sliding glass doors in the basement.

We had all our windows replaced by Encore 3 years ago (Dec 2007). We highly recommend Encore to everyone. Anthony, Mike and his crews were very friendly and professional. They kept the work neat and tidy. We did obtain many quotes before choosing Encore. We chose Encore because Anthony provided recommendations and worked with us for our need. As all new interior wood trim/jamb are required, in order to save cost, we decided to do the paint job by ourselves. We have 2 tall windows (over 30ft), it would be impossible for us to do it after the windows being installed. Anthony good arrangement let us do the paint job in a smooth way. We are happy to our windows. We are so impressed about their services to deal with a little problem during the busy holiday season. One of our basement windows was broken which is not included in the job as we noticed one day before the installation. Anthony placed an order right away and took another trip to fix it for us. The high quality of windows, over and beyond customer services and reasonable cost are what you can have with Encore.

Attn : Dave This is further to your response last Monday to our call regarding a problem with the picture window and screens . As you know , the windows are now,approximately ten years old . We were very pleased to learn that the picture window ( which is showing a blue haze ) will be replaced at a very small charge to us . Also the screens which had lost their grey finish will all be replaced at a very small charge . “I paid a deposit to have my soundproof window manufactured by Encore with the expectation that it would be done within 8 weeks. It ended up taking 8 weeks plus a few days, then a few days on top of that to set up an appointment to have the window installed, but it turned out to be well worth the wait and the expense! My partner and I immediately noticed a huge reduction in the noise associated with streetcars making a short turn around our building. Although we can still detect the sound of the streetcars (and louder vehicles like trucks), it’s now at a volume that we can easily adjust to. Previously we’d been disturbed by the streetcars every night, despite living in our place for almost 6 months! We’ve had the window now for several months, but I’d forgotten to write a review for Encore. I remembered to do this just the other day when due to a cough and the fact that my partner had an exam the following day, I decided to help her get a good night’s rest by sleeping on the sofa in the living room... I was immediately reminded of the noise we used to cope with nightly. (We only have the soundproofing installed in the bedroom.) Although the street noise seems almost pleasant to live with in our living room during the day, it still made it just as difficult as ever to get a good night’s rest. I also realized that the most significant benefit we’ve had from the window is that when the street noise is low outside, it’s utterly silent in the bedroom; there’s something to be said for that… Lastly, the window in our bedroom where Encore installed the additional soundproof window is about ten feet high and eight feet wide. It was installed in six sections that look quite nice and match the outer window perfectly. The guys from Encore even put our curtains back up for us!” Sincerely, Robert K.

We purchased our beautiful home in Thornhill in 2009. We didn't realize the busy street next to us would become such a problem. We quickly realized that the noise from the street was so bad that it was depriving us of a proper night’s sleep. We went to the Home Show and met Dave, from Encore. He was up front and honest and made a visit to our home to assess the situation. They installed soundproof windows in our bedroom. It didn't completely get rid of the noise (as we didn't do all the rooms on the second level), however, it did help with the noise factor quite a bit. Thank You Encore!

I had 15 windows installed by Encore. The work was a custom job involving a custom colour. Anthony was very knowladgeable, he was there to answer any questions I had throughout the whole process, and he was able to get me everything I wanted. The installers were on time, quick, clean, and professional. They did an amazing job on my windows. Overall my experiance with Encore was an exceptional one, I'd be happy to reccommend them to anyone I know.

I had soundproof glass installed in a large bedroom window. The work that was done exceeded my expectation and the noise reduction was significant. I would highly recommend Encore. Condo bedroom on Avenue Road.
