What salesperson says is quite different from what installers do. Windows are ok, despite the fact panes in 2 of 3 windows needed to be replaced due to sweating less then 6 mo after installation. My most grief is with installers - they don't do proper measurements before ordering windows, having to face large gaps (2+ inches) on installation, air and vapour envelope around window rough opening is not done at all, using general indoors screws which would be in contact with elements and using screws going vertical through bottom plate.

People at Encore, from sales to installation, were nice to deal with. Price was reasonable.

Excellent company to work with. David is a pro and walked us through the whole process. Encore's installers were neat, clean, and a pleasure to have in our home. The new windows are great.

I had a serious leak into my home whenever it was a windy storm. Several contractors failed to diagnose how the water was getting into the basement. Michael from Encore pulled aside the moulding on the patio door to confidently confirm that water was coming in through the bottom of the door. Although not the least expensive quote, I had confidence in the company and its tradespeople and I was not let down. The installer pointed out 3 things that were done incorrectly when the original door was installed and he took meticulous care in correcting all those problems when installing my new door. I am very happy with my new, professionally installed door and recommend Encore. They provide a good product, the installer was top notch, and they take pride in a job well done.

The products are great with solid parts and materials from Europe, we love it for our new home.

If I had known how much joy and comfort my new doors and windows would bring, I would have done anything, including borrowing money, to instal them a long time ago! I can stand right beside my new windows on the worst day of our Canadian winter and feel no chill. My heating/cooling bills are significantly less. Stop reading this review and call Dave at Encore Windows. You won't regret it.

I am sincerely impressed with Encore windows and doors (officially Encore Home Improvements Inc.), and highly recommend them. The salesman was incredible. He was more professional than any of the other company representatives that were interested in the work. He attended my residence with samples of his product, provided me with a detailed estimate to replace all of the windows and doors (that did not change as the project progressed), and was very conscientious. He kept me regularly informed on the status of the manufacturing of the windows and doors as COVID had caused production shutdowns and delays. The installation team consisted of the primary installer and at times a second member. They were amazing. They were pleasant, took the time to answer any naive questions, considerate, and creative (e.g., the primary installer came up with a clever solution to a problem with one of the new windows and the existing shutters). I waited approximately a year from when the new windows and doors were installed before I submitted my review. This gave me the four season experience with the new replacements. There have been no problems, and what a difference! I live about 40 metres from a very busy road with numerous noisy trucks and cars that we have nicknamed the Raceway. The new windows and doors have reduced the sound so much that even visitors to the house have commented on the significant change without being asked. The windows and doors are a refreshing change as they have added, not only to the sound quality but, to the insulation, and security. To Encore windows and doors I summarize with thank you, thank you, thank you.

About six years ago we had Encore install a number of new windows and doors in our home. A team of two men took several days to do the installation. We were very pleased with the expertise and work ethic of the installers. There are still a few old windows and doors to be done and Encore will be our first choice when the time comes to get more work done. Now to the point of this review. Recently, the deadbolt in the now six year old front door (an Encore installation) started to give us trouble by occasionally refusing to throw (plunge?) all the way home into its cavity. I called Encore and a man was over at our home the same day to assess the problem. Within a few days a service call had been arranged. All has been taken care of and the door lock is working as new again. My thanks to Encore and their staff for the great service.

These days you want value for your money, skilled workmen, and a trustworthy company who stand by their word. I got all of these. Delivery was screwed up because of the world conditions and material sitting on a ship in the Pacific so was delayed. However once here i was contacted and appointment made to come the next day. They arrived on time, used drop sheets to protect other areas of the house, worked the entire time they were here, cleaned up well and fast and were gone. My inspection of the work left me pleased and I am a picky guy and could not find anything wrong.. Go with them for your doors and windows. Then feel badly for the guy down the street that did not use them. You will not feel badly about choosing Encore. I was so happy, while they were here I asked for a quote on another defective window..
