I hired Fine Craft Upholstery to redo a loveseat I found used on Craigslist. The loveseat was in good shape but I wanted a look that was more modern, graphic, and fun. Kathy was great - she helped me to choose a fabric that had the look I wanted but was still practical. In fact, my nephew took to the loveseat the first weekend I had it - jumping on it and grinding chocolate into the fabric. The loveseat survived with flying colours! It retained its shape and the fabric cleaned up easily. I can't think of a better test of workmanship than a rambunctious three-year old. I will absolutely take my future upholstery projects to Fine Craft and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I am so happy that I decided to have a very old sofa and wing back chair re-upholstered by Fine Craft. I was a little nervous about how they would turn out but I must say that the results have exceeded my expectations. My living room is rejuvinated and a landfill has been spared from yet more pieces of abandoned furniture. In addition, to being very personable, Kathy is most professional and very helpful in making the right fabric choices. Fine Craft succeeded in transforming a very formal sofa with it's pleated skirt into a more contemporary look and completely updating my living room. The fabric choice for the Louis IVth wing back chair also brought it into the 21st century. Kathy is honest in her recommendations,the workmanship is very high quality and the price is most fair. I would highly recommend Fine Craft Upholstery to anyone considering a furniture re-do.

I stumbled on Fine Craft Upholstery when needing my dining room chairs reupholstered. They had a wife selection of farbics, but made sure that what I bought worked with my decor and would add warmth and beauty to my home. Further, they not only did the reupholstery but also reglued the chairs so that they are like new. Next, I recommended a close friend for a similar project, except this time she wanted piping. Her chairs came out beautifully. Now they are doing my daugher's chairs. These chairs were on their last legs, and now are just great. All of this for a fair price, excellent service and a wonderful, caring attitude from Cathy. What more could any of us want? I higly recommend Fine Craft Upholstery. My only regret is that I don't have more items for them to make beautiful again.

A friend's recommendation led me to arrange to have two living room easy chairs re-upholstered at Fine Craft. The fabric I chose had a manufacturing flaw and Kathy offered various options to me including a discount. I chose another fabric which meant the wait was extended through no fault of Fine Craft.I am thrilled with the result. Pick-up and delivery service was provided. Our family room has a number of angled walls, and we needed to maximise seating space. I found Kathy on Homestars and she and her father were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Kathy came and measured up, was patient with us in chosing fabric, came back to check that the frame fit perfectly and has just delivered the finished product. I couldn't be happier. It looks fantastic.

Very honest about time it would take and cost. Very helpful on choosing details and making profession suggestions. The slip cover fits perfectly and looks fantastic. I almost wish I had more projects for them to do! Beautiful results!

The skills and service of Kathy and Steve at Fine Craft Upholstery blew my expectations out of the water. I took them the most run-down and worn out chair and they brought it to new life. I was so pleased I took them another chair, sofa and had them make me a headboard, too. I brought another small piece of a fabric remnant I loved and they made it into two fabulous bolster cushions. The first thing that everyone who comes to my home does is sit down on the furniture and sigh, then they feel the fabrics Kathy helped me choose, oooh and ah, then bounce up and down and say, WOW! Great furniture! Was this really your parents' old stuff? I proudly say "yes", and then give them Kathy's card. I could not recommend Fine Craft more highly: it is a business where skill, service and STYLE meet!

I would definitely recommend Kathy at Fine Craft Upholstery. We had her reupholster a wingback chair and ottoman, and create a custom headboard. Service was quick, efficient, and friendly. And we've extremely happy with the quality as well. We will be back!

My wife and I recently built a new country home and wanted some excellent quality built-in seating for a special third floor tower look out room. Kathy of Fine Craft Upholstery helped with the design of the furniture and also with selection of fabrics. The entire installation was beautifully made and delivered to our new home exactly when promised. The workmanship and design are both excellent, and the cost was lower than we had expected. We have had many compliments on the furniture, and as an architect I now have an excellent source of custom upholstery to recommend to my clients based on our first hand experience. Kathy is a member of the second generation in the family of craftsmen who have operated Fine Craft Upholstery for many years, and the devotion to excellent quality at a reasonable cost clearly is a result of years of experience in the family. It isn't always easy to find skilled people to carry out specialized work to such a good standard these days.
