I wanted to reupholster my grandparents' old glider rocker in black leather to make it more modern looking. I found Fine Craft Upholstery on HomeStars and contacted Kathy based on the number of good reviews- I was not disappointed! Kathy responded quickly in a friendly, professional and detailed manner. I really appreciated the way she got back to me in a timely fashion to answer my questions about seams and zippers etc… Kathy quoted me a very fair price (and I had spoken to two other businesses as well) for both the labour and the cost of leather. My rocker was completed more quickly than I expected and turned out beautifully. Kathy did a fantastic job, and the quality of the work is excellent. I am extremely pleased with my updated rocker and would definitely recommend Fine Craft Upholstery.

Kathy did an outstanding job at my custom upholstery request, which was a true rush job, including sourcing fabric. Despite the tight turnaround the work was exceptional. Kathy's professionalism and experience shone through in her recommendations, as well as the quality of the work. Would recommend to anyone looking for fine upholstery.

We had a very positive experiecne with Fine Craft. Their quote was similar to others, and chose Fine Craft because of their good reviews. We were not dissapointed. Kathy is very knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect fabric. I wanted a small alteration to the dust skirt, and Kathy accomodated me without any hassel. The Fine Craft team were very professional, skilled and easy to work. Highly recommended.

Fine Craft did a beautiful job upholstering two side chairs for us. The bold striped fabric we chose was surely tricky to work with but Fine Craft produced two identical and perfect chairs for us. On top of it all, they did a quick job at a very reasonable price. We have found our "go to" upholsterer.

When moving my Mom out of her home, we took 3 chairs that had good bones, but that were otherwise in poor shape:1 wingback chair, and 2 older leather chairs. Kathy re-upholstered these for us and did an amazing job. I feel like we have new pieces of furniture - that we have made our own by choosing fabric - but that also hold the history of our family. Kathy was meticulous and did a fabulous job. I would recommend her to anyone!

Bought a vintage couch from the 60s, really liked the style bought it was in horrible shape. Fine Craft did a great job reupholstering it, giving it a great update, even explaining to me all of the options and working with my budget. They even fixed the sagging in the seats. Great job, still holding up well after a year. They were a little expensive, but with furniture and fabric you get what you pay for.

As part of a renovation, we re-covered 6 dining room chairs and an armchair. In addition we had cushions made for two large window seats and a custom King headboard. Kathy was a joy to deal with. She was responsive on my first inquiry and that level of service continued throughout the process. Kathy was knowledgeable and helpful in fabric selection, taking the time to understand the use of the furniture and match fabric (e.g window seat in family room is more durable for kids & dog). The final product was outstanding and far exceeded our expectations. The work from Fine Craft Upholstery is true craftsmanship - we have recommended to others and will use again.

I just received a group of older Victorian style furniture, and Fine Craft Upholstery did an amazing jobs of pretty much bringing back the original style. They look great, feel fantastic, quality job was done.

We recently had six kitchen chairs reupholstered. They look fabulous. Excellent work. Kathy helped us. She is very knowledgeable. She helped us select a fabric that was easy to maintain especially with young children.

My husband and I spent a weekend learning the basics of upholstery from Kathy. Kathy's years of experience and obvious talent resulted in a fun and incredibly informative weekend. We were able reupholster two chairs which are now the center piece in our living room. Kathy provides clear instruction and is very generous with her time (and patience!).
