Quality, value and kindness. I purchased a marble bench that had a velvet cushion that was a poor match for the bench. I engaged Kathy to reupholster the velvet cushion with black leather and to create stitching across the length of the cushion. I attended at her store and she patiently walked me through the options, provided me samples to take home and test out with my home lighting. I choose a leather product and proceeded to drop off the cushion, expecting the job to be completed in a month or so. 9 days later, I got a text from Kathy that the cushion was ready. The results in the photos below speak for themselves. The quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail reflect the pride she takes in her work. The price point was extremely reasonable and Kathy was a delight to work with. I highly recommend her services!

Kathy has sewn and installed numerous curtains over the years for me (each time I move, Fine Craft Upholstery does my window coverings) every time absolutely perfect. Her attention to detail is incredible and she's very skilled at installing the hardware.

Had an old super decrepit 2 seater sofa with nice lines: I also had two large leather hides that matched earlier furniture Finecraft had done for me. The job was done within a week and the sofa was TRANSFORMED into a chic 1950's sleek and comfortable piece. We are thrilled with the loops she attached to the frame to stop cushion creep. Have used this shop for 20 years: always pleased with the results which are immaculate.

I highly recommend this Upholsterer in the Kingsway. Cathy helped me choose the fabric and essentially rebuilt the sofa within the agreed upon time frame. Work is beautiful and pickup and delivery was very efficient.

I wanted to change up my family room but couldnt afford to reupholster my chairs at the time. I found some fabric I liked, at a discount, at Fabricland and then went to Kathy. Kathy made new slipcovers for the loose cushions of my tub chair seats and pillowcases as well as an ottoman cover. It was a small investment but one that utterly transformed the room. I have had Kathy make new throw cushions in my living room as well. Now that I have the funds, I wouldnt go to anyone else and those chairs will be fully upgraded. New furniture is not as solid as the old stuff and you owe it to the environment to give it a new life. I like supporting female entrepreneurs in male-dominated professions. Kathy is lovely to work with.

I had an old loveseat that was expensive when I got it. The upholstery was starting to rip, but the bones of the piece were still in good shape so I decided to have it reupholstered and have a slip cover made at the same time. Fine Craft Upholstery did an amazing job with lots of attention to small details. The quality of the work is superb, and they were very patient with me while I was back and forth trying to decide on fabric, even providing some gentle guidance when needed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fine Craft Upholstery.

I had a custom headboard done by Kathy. It was done beautifully. She listened to what I wanted and made helpful suggestions. Finished product was better than I expected. I just placed an order for a second one.

Had a very old chair upholstered and it turned out beautiful, Kathy was very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions on fabrics, the work was done in a timely fashion for a fair price, and the work itself was flawless. I would highly recommend Fine Craft Upholstery and would definitely use their services again!
