    Installed New Breaker Panel & Meter Base

    On June 27, 2014, we hired Hi-Lite Electric to install a breaker panel in our home and an outside meter base. They also switched some outlets on the lower level of our home that day. We were very pleased with the efficiency that Matthew, his father and other company members showed in our home to get this job done in a timely manner. Matthew articulated, in detail, the work that we requested be done and carried it out expertly along with many co-workers. We will have them back to do some more work shortly.     Hang a Light Fixture in Stairwall

    Hello Angie, Would just like to Thank, Tyler and Jeremy for a job well done. I needed a light fixture installed that was in the middle of a ceiling on the 2nd floor. Too much for me to handle due to the location of the fixture. Both men were very courteous and professional. Job was done in no time at all. Cleaned-up and replaced the few items that needed to be moved. Will definitely use Hi-Lite electrical for all future requirements. Sincerely, Peter

    Emergency Repair

    Around midnight on a Saturday after flicking the switch for our bathroom, the breaker that controlled our two bathrooms switched off. Having experienced previous issues with suspect switch wiring, I wanted to have the problem looked at. We called Hi-Lite the next morning around 9:30am and were greeted with wonderful customer service. The woman on the phone was terrific - thorough and informative. A few moments after hanging up the phone, Luciano called to go over our situation. He promptly arranged to have Tyler fix our problem - all on a Sunday morning. Tyler was so helpful, informative and polite. I am thrilled with the service that we received from Hi-Life Electric and will definitely use their company in the future. We called around 9:30am and the issue was fixed by 11:45am. A+++ I would highly recommend, as well.

    Electrical Repairs

    We had a electrical problem with one part of the house without electricity. We could not get any response from Enersource for more than 24 hours, so we decided to call Hi-Lite. Luciano responded, figured out that it is a Enersource problem. He called the control room and within an hour Enersource was on site to put in a temporary fix so that all our 120V stuff could work, and arrange for the 240V part to get fixed after the long weekend. Luciano really went above and beyond. He called afterwards to ask if Enersource fixed the problem. What make this so extraordinary is that he arrange all and follow up, and it did cost as anything (I put in an amount in the review to make sure it get posted.) Anyway, I know for sure that if we have electrical work to be done in future, we will definitely call Hi-Lite. Amazing service from Luciano. We cannot thank you enough!

    Electrical

    I always want to make sure my home is safe. Even new homes have issues. The work needed was clearly and patiently explained. I also appreciate the block of time set aside for me. Tyler was great!

    Outlet Rewiring

    As a home owner, it's good to know that businesses like Hi-Lite Electric are out there. I was having an issue with an outlet in my kitchen and Matthew was sent over within hours of calling, diagnosed the issue, and fixed it. He was professional and courteous, I will definitely give Hi-Lite a call for future electrical problems.

    GFI Outlets

    We just bought an older home and were told that the wiring was not up to standard and that we would need to rewire the entire home. We didn't have the money for that and were very upset and concerned that our home was unsafe. We had Hi-Lite come to give us an opinion and price. Tyler was very helpful and patient with us. He provided a more budget friendly option that would address our issue. We decided to have Hi-Lite do the work and are very pleased with the results. I would recommend them and will use them again for any electric work we do.

    fixed light switch under warranty

    This is the third time I've used Hi-Lite. One of my switches was making a weird sound when I turned it off. I called Hi-Lite on a Sunday morning and they sent Matthew that same afternoon and he fixed it fast. Thanks again Matthew. I didn't have to pay anything as it was under warranty. It's great to see a company that honors their warranty and offers same day service on a weekend with no extra charge - definitely a class act.

    Electricial Panel

    It's good to know that there's still honest reputable hard working contractors out there. Hi-Lite Electric came out to service our electrical panel that kept tripping breakers, they found a couple serious issues that were against code. They were on time, friendly, and professional. Their work was absolutely spectacular and they really paid attention to the little details. Their work is done right the first time so no issues crop up later down the line.

    Outdoor Fixture Replacement

    Outdoor sensored light fixture needed replacing. I went to Canadian Tire to buy the fixture I liked and contacted HiLite Electric Inc. I found them to be very courteous over the phone and their $79 service/travel fee proved to be one of the lowest around. Matthew showed up in the desired appointment window time. He removed the unwanted fixture and installed the new one. He ensured that it sat balanced and that everything was up to code. He cleaned up afterwards and even though he didn't have a caulking gun in the truck, he left and came back to properly "seal the deal". I definitely would use this company again for my electrical needs.
