We had 3 quotes to replace a flat roof that was in very bad shape and leaking into our house. Mega city provided the best quote for the most thorough completion of the job. They came in one day, completed the work to a very high standard, were professional and courteous and cleaned up after themselves. Tom was a pleasure to deal with - honest and fair and very thorough. We will definitely recommend mega city to anyone looking for a roof replacement or repair.

Tom and crew arrived exactly when they said they would. They had to take off 2 layers of shingles, but got right to it and had it done in no time. Told us what needed to be done and did it. They did a great job and it looks beautiful. We are very satisfied with this company,they were all courteous, polite, worked very well as a team, and did a super job. Before they left everything was cleaned up,you would never know they were here. We would recommend Tom and his crew to anyone. It's a pleasure doing business with Tom (and his crew). Job was done well and on time. Tom responded to all my queries (via phone calls and text messages) promptly. He stayed at the job site throughout the day to ensure everything ran smoothly, and answered all the additional questions I had. When the old shingles were removed, he informed me of the condition of the plywood underneath, plus other things that I should do later (like adding more insulation to the attic).

Tom and his crew reshingled my roof and added 3 vents. As a new homeowner I had many questions about my roof (and various other parts of my house), which he gladly answered. As for the clean-up, the area around my house was left tidier than before they started. Tom is very customer service - orientated and aims to go above and beyond your expectations. Thank you!

We recently had a racoon destroy the rubber boots around the plumbing vents in our roof. We called Tom and, after a brief discussion of the problem, made arrangements for him to visit. He called on the morning of our appointment to reconfirm and arrived on time. The job was done quickly, cleanly, professionally, and at a reasonable price. While he was up on the roof he even did a couple of other quick fixes that we weren't even aware of. When the time comes for a bigger job, we will certainly be calling on Tom again.

Our roof sprung a leak this winter, so we were desparate to replace it before the thaw. Of 4 quotes, Tom's was in the middle, but the reviews on Homestars swayed us. He scheduled the work for three days later, was here promptly, and did an exceptional job. Thanks so much for restoring our faith in quality, punctuality, and value.

We had a small leak in the ceiling on the top floor of our home. After reviewing vendors on homestars.com, I called my top three choices and left voice/e-mail messages as per their respective instructions w/r/t emergencies. Tom was the only one who called back - which was good for us because he turned out to be professional and courteous. He arrived at the time he indicated and the work was taken care of. As well, the price was excellent - especially for an emergency on a weekend. Thanks very much Tom!

During a recent rain storm, water started dripping in through the hatch to my attic. I called Mega City Roofing (based on a positive experience with the installation of a flat roof on another part of my house several years ago). Tom answered the phone immediately, came very promptly and quickly executed the repair in the pouring rain. I will definitely call them again. Thank you Tom!

Tom came over to reattach my downspout which had disconnected due to high winds. He completed the job fairly quickly. He also kindly pointed out that another downspout had disconnected which I hadn't realized and he fixed that for me as well. I found him to be professional and friendly. I would recommend him.

Being new home owners, the girlfriend and I were optimistic we would be able to get through our first winter without any issues regarding our roof. Unfortunalty optimism doesnt stop bad things from happening to your roof. A large Ice dam had started to form and completely blocked both of my downspouts in the front of my house. Knowing it wasnt a super emergency I took the night to research who I wanted working on my roof. After reading through the reviews on the website here, there really wasnt another option. I sent off and email to Tom with a picture and got a speedy response back confirming it was an ice dam and should be looked at before it spread even further. Tom showed up early the next morning with his special helper and got right to work clearing out the problem. Its amazing that a 2' section of eaves that wasnt cleaned out of leaves could cause such a pain in the butt. Later that week, after returning home from work I opened the door to hear the horrific sound of water dripping onto my bathroom floor. In a panic I found Toms email again and within 2 minutes of sending off an email to him he had responded and we were setup for an early morning meeting the next day. Tom showed up on time and after only a few moments on the roof had identified the cause for the leak and began immediately working to stop the leak. He took me through step by step what he was going to have to do to permanetly solve the problem. After 2 1/2 hours in mid January temperatures, Tom and his crew were done. The whole process(outside of the water through the ceiling part) was a pleasure, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Tom and his crew to everyone I know. They do quality work and they arent out to break your bank. So now that the Ice dam is gone off the front of the house and the leak in the skylight is fixed at the back of the house. The girlfriend and I can sleep a little easier knowing the job has been done right. Now if only they did Drywall work we would be all set :) Thank you Tom and Mega City Roofing!
