New Roof
Tom and Mega City deserve a rating of 100! Tom and his crew reroofed my house after ripping off two old tired layers of singles. They showed up on time, and cleaned up throughly. However this reveiw is more about who Tom is. While they were refoofing they noticed that I did not have a flex hose that should have gone from my bathroom vent directly outside. My vent was just going into my attic causing condensation build up. Tom took it upon himself to return to my house and installed a flex hose on his own time and only charged me for the small amount of material. With anyone else they would have just walked away - but not Tom! While he was crawling through my attic he discovered countless empty cardbaord boxes thrown all thoughout the attic. He removed everyone and helped me bundle up all the cardboard waste. Tom was my hero!!! This man really cares about the workmanship of himself and crew and goes beyond any contractor I know to help make everything right. Thank you Tom. If you're looking to hire a roofer - Mega City Roofing is the only company you should hire! I am so grateful. Hire this company!!!!!

New roof on a bungalow
The first major decision I had to make after my husband died was a new roof. I had no idea how to go about it, and it was clear to the people I went with. They told me they gave me their best 25 year shingle, and now 12 years later the shingles are crumbling and breaking and were not properly installed over the eaves in the first place and the fly-by-night company that did the work is gone. I was pretty scared to do this again, so this time I did my homework. I Googled "roof etobicoke review" and up came Homestars like a magic trick. I read through the profiles and reviews of every company that had a good number of reviews. Then I researched shingles, how good they are, how long they really last and found that the warranty of the company doing your work has far more value than the warranty of the shingle company. A good company will take care of your problems. I got quotes from a lot of companies, and asked lots of questions. I was terrified of making this decision again by myself. Tom's company came in as soon as I called, knew what needed to be done and gave me a very reasonable quote. I later had some questions and Tom immediately answered them and reassured me about everything. The reviews on Homestars proved that people have liked his work!! Having been a widow a long time, I have lost lots of trust in people I have do work for me. I felt I could trust Tom and his crew. After signing with them, I had a beautiful new roof a couple of weeks later - and with his warranty behind his work, I feel safe. There was no mess and they were even careful to preserve the area where I had just planted grass. The roof is beautiful, just what I wanted. He even showed me how to keep the roof looking better longer. For me Tom has honesty, integrity, and pride in his work. He also takes the time to let you know he cares about you. You could not have a better person putting a roof on your house! Lois

Roof Repair
My wife and I discovered a drip during one of the many rainfalls during the summer months in one of our rooms that has a skylight and over our garage which has a flat roof. Over time that drip turned into a leak which unfortunately turned into a river. We tried doing minor patch jobs to remedy the problem but to no avail. We looked into a number of professional roofers but they seemed unreliable and untimely with their response into our problem. As soon as we contacted Mega City Roofing, we were contacted immediately and Tom came out to let us know what we needed. He is very knowledgeable and passionate in his work and helped to figure out a way to try to keep the costs down with us. Moreover, he is easily accessible and returns calls promptly. The crew arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves and Tom was there at the beginning and end of the project to make sure that the job was done properly. After the work was done, when we did have a concern, someone came out and took care of it. It has been a number of weeks with many rainfalls and no leaks to report. Mega City Roofing is a good roofing company that I would recommend.

Small flat roof over kitchen in 80 yr old home
Tom, who runs the company is a grade above others. He came when he said for his quote (something basis, but not found in the others who I spoke with); though late starting my job due to other work and weather, when they did get to it, the roof was done as expected in one day and appears to have been done carefully and made to last. I'll likely use Mega City to do the rest of our roof next year. Prices are competitive.

Roof replacement
When I bought my house a year ago, my home inspector told me my roof was well overdue for replacement (1991 roof). I chose Tom because I had to believe so many great and detailed reviews must be the 'real deal'. Tom's professionalism, service, and work ethic were everything the reviews said and more! He came to price the job and brought things to my attention that I hadn't noticed, but was so glad he pointed them out. So no nasty surprises. He made helpful recommendations, showed up on time and completed the job as promised, even when he came across some horrible workmanship on my roof once the job was started, that resulted in his crew having to do extra work to compensate (with no additional charge). I love my new roof! The new colour improved the look of the house, and more importantly, I feel safer in the house with winter approaching. Cleanup was immaculate! When I came home, I couldn't tell anyone had even been to the house (except for the beautiful new roof) and very importantly, my neighbours were impressed with how fast, hard-working, and respectful of their property Tom's crew was. Tom came by that evening and went over how the job went, and gave me more information on how to keep my roof and related areas, such as eavestroughs, insulation, etc., in great condition in years to come. He asked if it was ok to leave his sign on my lawn for a few days, and I said I was happy to have it there, so that others can see a job well done and who was responsible for it. However, because we're in the midst of a federal election campaign, there are a lot of signs on the lawns in my neighbourhood right now. Last night, some friends came to my house after dark, and saw the sign on my lawn, expecting to see which candidate I was supporting. Well, I guess that means I support Tom for PM! We all laughed about it, but you know, if all politicians were as honest and hard-working as Tom & his guys, the country may be in better shape! Thanks Tom, I hope all my renovations go as well as my roof replacement.

Roof replacement
I can't say enough about Mega City Roofing, and Tom Geo. Tom was prompt in coming to estimate my roofing job; which commenced on the date given; and the work was performed exactly as quoted and priced. The roof not only looks beautiful, but it has weathered all of the recent rain and wind storms, including the remnants of Ike, which split a 30' tree in my neighbors’ yard. To my amazement and that of my neighbors, one of whom commented that, "These men mean business," Tom's workers were fast efficient and well organized. The first two men were on the job promptly at 7:00 a.m. In spite of the very steep pitch, two layers of shingles, and the additional problem of working around a vehicle which could not be moved to position the bin next to my home, by 5:30 p.m. the same day the roofing job was complete, the property immaculately restored, and the workers gone. What was to have taken two days was done in 10 hours. Tom's work ethics and high standards were successfully proven by the exemplary level of consideration he extended to me and my neighbors. This was done through instructing me to notify my neighbors the day before to advise them of the crews’ arrival, cautioning me to remove all ornaments and pictures from the upper walls, to take care when entering and exiting my home, and then tarping my neighbors’ garage to protect it from falling shingles. Additionally, any and all concerns that I expressed during the process where courteously and immediately dealt with, to my complete satisfaction, no matter how trivial. On the whole I am giving Mega City Roofing, Tom Geo and his crews an A+. They are clearly a cut above the rest. Sincerely, Bev.

Flat roof and evestrough
This is the second project we have used Mega City Roofing for. As with our first roofing project (which was a separate part of the house), Tom is a pleasure to deal with. He is reponsive to requests, he is timely, the crew cleans up after they finish and the work is great. I highly recommend.

Roof
Mega is the best. I am glad I found his company on the internet and saw the review. When I first looked around for re-roofing my house, I found there were many out there and have no idea who I can trust. Beside the price, you also have to look for reliability and good workmanship. After reading Mega's review on Homestars, I have no more doubt. Tom conducts his business with honesty and integrity. He delivered what he promised. You can trust Tom. Homestars is the best as well.

Roof Re-shingling
It was a friday evening and I had just completed extensive renovation work in advance of putting my house on the market for the next week. Suddenly I heard the drip drip drip of water in the newly remodelled kitchen! Disaster! With all the rain we'd been having, the roof was leaking. I had no idea what I was going to do! However, one call to Tom Geo at MegaCity roofing and the solution had begun. Tom arrived first thing in the morning and by mid-day on Monday, my roof had been reshingled! Tom and his crew were courteous and professional, the work was excellent and the clean up made the place look as if nothing had taken place. I would highly recommend Mega City roofing! Thanks Tom, you're a life saver!

Roof replacement
From start to finish, Tom and his team provided exceptional service. They definitely went above and beyond the call of duty. Tom and his team did an incredible job replacing our entire roof; they arrived on time and completed the job on time. They were extremely respectful of our property. What is even more impressive is the level of service that Tom provides. Tom was always accessible to answer questions and has since followed up on numerous occassions to ensure we were satisfied with the quality of service. We couldn't have asked for a better company. If you are looking for a roofing company....Mega City Roofing is the best!
