    new roof

    It was a real pleasure to deal with Tom. All the calls were returned promptly and my questions answered patiently and in great detail. I was impressed with his extensive knowledge and efficiency with which the new roof was installed.Tom and his team did an outstanding job!

    New roof

    Tom drove by on a Sunday, two days after my initial call, to give a quote and arrived three weeks later to do the job. The new roof was installed in two days with absolutely no mess or inconvenience to us. Two months later we had a small problem (mostly caused by leaf build up) and Tom was there that afternoon to sort it out. I have no hesitation in recommending Mega City Roofing and have already given two telephone references. An excellent job.

    Replacement of roof and 2 skylights

    Mega City definitely deserves a 5-star rating. Tom gave a comprehensive quote for work required, promptly responded to ongoing questions and even followed up after completion/extreme rainstorm to confirm everything was okay. The job came in per time and cost estimates. The professionalism exhibited by Mega City's team is impressive and their workmanship is excellent.

    New Shingles

    Tom is a friendly accommodating and knowledgeable guy. Shows up when he says and does a great job. I had one small problem, which was resolved satisfactorily. He beat the previously lowest price even with several upgrades. He really does want his customers to be satisfied and this can be proved by the fact that he came back to resolve an issue after he was fully paid. I would highly recommend him.

    New Roof

    We had a number of quotes and went with Mega City and made the right decision. Tom and Chantal were both excellent. We were not home during the day but a neighbour commented on the work that they did and it was very favourable. Work was done in the spring and everything seems good. We felt we could trust Tom which is unusual but he did not let us down. Clean up was excellent - another neighbour who we share the drive with also made this comment. Tom and his team delivered and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Customer service with this company is number one.

    Roof shingles & vents

    I received 5 estimates from reputable roofers. 4 were given either by phone or dropped in my mailbox. The other estimates stated a 5yr warranty, while Mega City had 10yr (They also had WSIB). Tom & Chantal visited, went on the roof, described in detail the scope of work, and gave me an estimate which was in the same ballpark as the others. I have always been sceptical with contractors (past experience), but Tom changed all that. Tom and his team which included a 50 yr veteran in roofing,arrived as scheduled, did the job exactly as described (with a couple of extras), cleaned up and left.I was impressed with the morale of the team, the quality of work,the overall attention to detail and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!. I would recommend Mega City Roofing as I received grat value and service. Thanks Tom & Chantal

    New roof

    I didn't really expect Mega City to live up to its reputation as depicted on homestars.ca but figured if they even came close, I'd be happy. However, Tom and his crew did indeed do an outstanding job on my roof. I would recommend Mega City Roofing to anybody based on my experience.

    New roof

    Here are a few comments: (1) The workers didn't clean up the roof very carefully before they put on the tar paper for the new one. (2) Towards the end, they ran out of the water-proof membrane for ice and water. Tom instructed them to put on two layers of tar paper and told me it's the same. (3) Tom didn't buy the workers lunch at noon. I asked Tom several times about this and Tom said they would have food after the work is finished. They finished the work until 4:30 pm without food. (4) The roof wasn't entirely cleaned up. There were still some nails and other garbage left over. It was the same on the ground.

    Dear Charles, Your 2 star review comes to a shock to us after you telling us we did A wonderful job. You were told many times to get off the roof because you were distracting the crew and interfering with the installation of the new roof all day long. Before the shingles were applied the roof deck was swept clean before insulation of new shingles. Also Clean up was done best as possible due to your extremely long grass. As for lunch we do not buy our employees lunch everyday. The CREW decided to eat after the job was done. You walked around the perimeter of your home with Tom and agreed everything looked great and even the shingles looked wonderful after installation. We all left that day thinking everything was great. Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority you should have mentioned this to Tom before the crew left that day and Tom would have taken care of it ASAP. Sincerely, Mega City Roofing

    Flat roof repair

    We hired Tom a few weeks ago to replace our old tar and gravel flat roof. Like all the other “Mega City fans” that are listed here, we thoroughly enjoyed working with Tom and his crew on this project. They did a professional job, from beginning to end. We enjoyed Tom’s enthusiasm and his pride in the work that he undertakes. Very refreshing! And Tom believes in adding value to his work. During the course of project, Tom and his crew made repairs to the roof beyond the scope of the job. Thanks Tom. You and your crew are the best!

    New roof

    Tom and his crew did a fantastic job of reomoving two layers of old shingles, and installing new shingles andn new roof vents and flashing. His crew took only five hours for the entire job...including cleanup. I had very little dirt to cleanup afterwards, except for sweeping my front steps. Amazing! Also I was home for the entire time..and the noise level was far less than I expected. Tom had warned me to remove pictures or mirrors from the upstairs walls...I need not have bothered. The house never even shook! The pictures I did leave up..did not move a centimetre. Good job all around..and I will recommend this company to friends in Toronto.
