Love this place! Have bought 2 couches, 3 chairs, Dining Room table and 8 chairs (Shermag), Mirrors, Bedframe and Armoire (Shermag), leather bench/storage and 2 matress sets (Serta). Also purchased 2 leather couches and dining room set for investment property. Although there have been some snags along the way, we were always taken care of. When we purchased the first couch, were told that it would take 6 to 8 weeks to receive it. They preceeded to give us a loaner counch in the meantime. They have been fantastic with any and all issues...I always recomend them to family and friends, Always.

Our experience with G.H. Johnson's was wonderful. They carry a wide eclectic range of furniture at fantastic prices. We purchased two leather chairs that we had seen at other retailers for almost double the price. As owner Pat Johnson said to us, "we're all about making deals". The personalized service was appreciated and the chairs arrived on time and in perfect condition. You can't ask for much more than that. We will definitely be repeat customers and have recommended them to family and friends.

I just received my new table & chairs which arrived 4 weeks ahead of schedule and in perfect condition. The furniture quality and selection is great and the prices even better. Always had courteous service whenever I called and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

It’s easy to get great service when everything goes right, but, the real test is when things go wrong. I ordered an armoire that turned out to be way too big, and I was worried I'd be stuck with it. Without hesitation, G H Johnson, offered to exchange it for me and even gave me a discount on the smaller version! You can't get much better service than that! I will definetly be back to shop! I was referred to GH Johnson 5 years ago by a friend in 'the industry'. Had problems with another popular furniture store in north Toronto, and Pat was able to get the exact same items for me ON TIME and for substantially less money! Always a pleasure to shop there - going back again tomorrow to look for office couches.

We recently bought a new semi. We wanted new "transitional" furniture and so we flipped through magazines and adored everything Pottery Barn. The only problem was who can afford this with their first mortgage? We decided to hit GH Johnson and saw luxury cars parked outfront along Dupont. Must be nice place. Turned out, it was AMAZING stuff for cheap. We are talking House & Home props and Sarah Richardson staging. Its in a warehouse, so they save money on the overhead costs. We shopped EVERYWHERE and price compared with Elte, De Boers and Decorium (pretty good prices too). Hands down the best. Furnished our ENTIRE house for 5 grand.

We ordered bedroom furniture from GH Johnson's for a guest room. It arrived on time by very curteous deliverymen. They were early and I was late. By the time I got home (the nanny let them in) the furniture was in the bedroom, set up, levelled, and all the packaging was removed from the premises. I was very impressed! My only complaint is that it can be hard to speak with a salesperson. There doesn't seem to be enough of them. Other than that, I was completely satisfied with our experience. I'll be back!

This is my third major purchase from Johnson's because it's not worth going any where else. The selection is incredible - the place is huge and offers so much variety in every price range. The staff are helpful, knowledgable and friendly. The service was top notch. We bought a leather couch and chair and had over 40 types of leathers and colours to choose from. We're also getting a dining room table and chairs that's very similar to something we saw in Pottery Barn for double the price. With all that to offer, why go any where else.

I've dealt with a many furniture retailers in the past and would have to rank G H Johnson's as the best in providing excellent service, quality merchandise and very fair prices. Their delivery staff are outstanding and have often found a way to get furniture into tight spaces that no one else could manage (especially Joe). I have recommended them to a number of friends and relatives and everyone has shared the same great experience.

My family and friends have been shopping at GH for over a decade and it's always been a pleasure. The owner is very hands on with the all the customers and very service oriented. All furniture deliveries were always delivered on the expected date and time frame. Great selection and value on linens too!
