    Blocked kitchen drains

    Kerem arrived on time; quickly diagnosed a serious problem, and within 48 hours the repairs were complete. We received detailed information as to the cause of the problem. Service was prompt, clean, efficient, and extremely friendly. We highly recommend this company and Kerem!

    Sewage pipe replacement

    Good guys and honest work. Have used them previously on smaller jobs and felt comfortable enough to use them on a big job and they didn't disappoint. They explained the work well, did what they said they would when they said they would and for the price -no surprises. Will definitely use them again.

    Leak in Furnace Room

    I had an excellent experience with New Canadian Drain & Plumbing today. Around 5:00 on Sunday, I discovered a major leak in a pipe in my furnace room that fed the humidifier. I called New Canadian Drain & Plumbing around 5:30, and they sent Jeff over within the hour. Jeff replaced the leaking pipe quickly and efficiently, despite great difficulties in accessing it, and at a very reasonable price. Getting a serious plumbing problem fixed so quickly on a Sunday afternoon was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended.

    Kitchen drain

    Our kitchen drain was blocked completely. I called the New Canadian Drain Ltd. They came and fixed it so quickly in less than an hour. Its working for more than 8 months from then. Thanks to their expertise.

    Drain Problems

    I had some problem with my sink and drain I called them up they showed up earlier than i thought and and explained everything in a very professional and patient manner... they fixed some smaller problems to in order to avoid further problems,,,, I shall thank them so much for being so caring and responsible....in case of any plumbing related problems I would call nowhere but them thanks

    Kerem did an outstanding job of assessing the situation, developing a very competitive quote and putting in place an action plan that got the work done in less than 2 days.     Sewage emergency

    This company failed to coopperate with my insurance company to settle my claim, now I am out $2616. All we have asked for is a detailed invoice breaking out costs for this job. This company has failed in providing this information to myself or the insurance comapny and it appears they have totally over charged for their services

    From the very beginning, we have co-operated with you and your insurance company. When your insurance company first contacted our office, the adjuster requested a breakdown for removing and replacing concrete only for the job that we did at your site on November 18, 2012. We provided her with a cost breakdown as stated on your invoice which was $1000 to break and put back concrete. She was satisfied with our response and co-operation and never called us back. A few weeks later, you contacted our office informing us that your Insurance would only re-imburse you for the work for the concrete and asked us to higher the cost amount for the concrete work so that you can get more money back from Insurance. Being that we are an honest company, we refused your request at which time you made the comment (threat) that we should “co-operate” with the insurance company to avoid you contacting the Better Business Bureau. You continued to contact our office and we made it clear that we were not going to change our cost breakdown to support any potential Insurance fraud. This job was done over 5 months ago. There are no complaints whatsoever regarding the actual job or our workmanship. Your retaliation against us for not co-operating with you in Insurance fraud is to attempt to tarnish our reputation by giving us a bad rating on Home Stars and threatening us with the Better Business Bureau which reflects on your lack of morals and ethics and we do not appreciate our good name and reputation being slandered.

    Re-soldered section of copper pipe

    I called in a panic, as water was everywhere. Joe, showed up within the hour, and quickly had the problem fixed within the hour. He took time to talk about the problem, and not speak down to you. I would use them again in a heartbeat, and recommend them to all family and friends. Great service.

    Yves from New Canadian Drain was very helpful and professional when he explained to me the process and cost it would take to replace my 40' drain pipe.     roots in sewer line

    I called New Canadian initially for a second opinion. Steve arrived on time and walked me through what he was doing. He came to the same conclusion as my first estimate and was competitive so I decided to go with New Canadian. They were scheduled to start at 9, I received a call at 10:30 saying they would be there at 11:30. At 3:30 I received a call saying that they were not going to make it and they would have to do it the next day. Fine enough... the next day arrived and work went started... New Canadian and the other estimate differed in where they were going to dig... New Canadian was going to go from the top of my stairs and dig down where as the other company was going to dig from the drive. Everything was going well until I was told they could not get to the rest of the blockage from the steps and they were going to have to dig a second hole in the drive (as per the original estimate) AND that is was going to cost me double the cost because now it was two holes... which they told me as I had a hole in my front steps and no water drainage... basically over a barrel. While working I had to step out so I asked the guys working if they would be finished that day... at this point a man who I never met who was not working on the job turned to me and bluntly said "you will get what they told you" turned back around and offered up nothing else. Well I was just asking a question, I am the customer and this guy who I guess is the boss basically told me to mind my own business. The work itself is very satisfactory, the guys were nice aside from whoever the boss was, I am upset that the job cost doubled when the other company would have done it differently and probably got the job done for half the cost. I'm glad my drain works and hopefully I won't have to call anybody in about this again. In response to below: my rating is not low... it is not a stellar score, but I am not trashing either, I am in the middle in each category... I stated I am satisfied with the work, my score says I am satisfied, just not over the moon satisfied... what do you want? I was charged over double of my initial quote, my quote says 12 feet of pipe replaced and I see you now replaced 6 feet... not 12 as you said in the increased invoice. Please learn that a average score is not a trashing score, it just means I wasn't blown away by the service... I think that is fair to anyone who was given a quote for $2600 and then told it will cost $5800 mid job... would you be thrilled if your mechanic said it will cost $1000 but while your car is on the lift he says nope... $2000... of course not...

    Hi Dan, When we came to your site to begin the work on your property, we started by replacing your building trap under your stairs which is the first thing that has to be done. Secondly, we did a camera inspection and discovered that your pipe was broken under your neighbor’s driveway and we replaced it, approximately 6 ft. If another company was telling you that they would have to dig on your neighbor’s property first than they would have been telling you the incorrect way to fix the problem. You always have to take out the building trap first and install double cleanouts, and from those cleanouts, you can inspect the condition of your pipes both to the inside of your house and to outside on your property. While the owner was at your site busy supervising his team, you mentioned that he turned his back on you. When you asked him if the job would be finished that same day, the owner informed you that “The job would be completed as promised” and after re-assuring you by telling you this, he continued to supervise his team which is completely different from your interpretation of his response as being blunt and unreceptive. Overall, the main importance is that the work was done efficiently and you state that you are satisfied with our job and finishing so the low rating based on what you are saying is unwarranted.
