    Eavestroughing and downspouts

Everyone at North Shore provided exceptional customer service and quality installation service for a fair price. Communication was prompt and I was always kept in the loop. If there was any concern by the installer, I was consulted.

    Answer from pro:

Thanks for the great review. You both were a pleasure to deal with!

    New eavestrough, soffit and fascia

We called in Darren to provide us with an estimate for all new soffit, fascia and eavestrough a year ago, but were finally able to get to the project this year. We threw in a few extra curves - some unexpected soffit lighting and a new porch. And the icing on the cake - a new roof - at best, a scheduling nightmare. It all fit into place, and with only a day or two delay due to Mother Nature, we ended with a terrific result. Thanks to Darren and his crew, we are now enjoying the facelift our aged bungalow needed.

Hi Steve, Thanks alot for the excellent review. The new porch and shingles on the gable end really make your home look awesome. You have great taste in color and style. This is the second project we have completed for you now and hope to serve you again in the future.

    replaced eavestroughing, added leaf guard

Dealing with North Shore was a pleasant surprise from start to finish. Every step from the estimate request right through to finishing the job was done on time and as promised. Despite very competative pricing, the crew was polite and professional. They did a great job and left our place cleaner than the way they found it. All in all it was a very pain free experience and excellent value.

Repair of fascia on my house

Carpenter bees had bored holes in the exposed wood eaves of the house where the fascia was missing. North Shore Eavestroughing, who had done superb work for me in the past, replaced the missing part, even though it was too small a repair to warrant a visit under normal circumstances. Not only did I deeply appreciate the professional courtesy they extended, but I was greatly relieved of considerable worry. Hats off to you, North Shore Eavestroughing. You did it again.

Hi Dale, thanks for the chance to help you out with a nasty bee situation. It was a pleasure meeting you!

    Whole House Eavestrough Repair

We just got our eavestroughs replaced, including installation of that anti-leaf protection system (whatever it's called). I am extremely satisfied with the quality of their work; very solid. I highly recommend North Shore, which is run by Darren and Angela, for three main reasons: (1) Darren addressed an issue that we were having about icing on the driveway during the last several winters from freezing rain down our downspout and proposed moving the downspout to the other side of the house. It sounds obvious in hindsight, but no one else thought to propose something; (2) The crew arrived on time, was courteous, professional, cleaned up very well after themselves, and even took a look at my neighbour's eavestroughs at our request and cleaned out a specific blockage that they saw, for no extra charge. (3) Darren in his initial visit dropped off without asking a maybe 12 inch long section of an eavestrough with the leaf screen, as well as a swatch of the various colours that the eavestroughs came in. Again, sounds small, but the swatch allowed us to do a lot of colour matching for some other exterior painting we did to our windows, and the sample allowed us to get comfortable on how it worked (we put it under the faucet and the screen didn't stop the water, even though the holes look small). Anyway, these things really made North Shore stand out. Hope this helps you if you are looking for an eavestrough contractor.

    Answer from pro:

The work that we do may not be done again for 25 years so its important to make changes as necessary. Special attention should be given to identify the best locations for the downpouts. Its hard to believe at first that the leafgaurd will really work so its a great idea to see it work under the tap! Thanks for the great review!

North Shore replaced our overflowing eaves with new 5 inch eaves with leafguard system. Our old eaves overflowed regularly. The work was done professionally and on time and at a very reasonable cost. The LED lights are excellent. I highly recommend North Shore Eavestroughing

    New Eavestroughs, Soffits and facia

I thought that North Shore did a fantastic job with our new eavestroughs, soffits and facia. It was all professionally done, everything was explained and they called me during the job with a couple questions. The thing that really impressed me was that it started to rain about 3/4 of the way through the job and they kept going and finished the job and got thoroughly soaked. I even asked a couple questions after the job was finished and they got the ladders off the truck, checked out my concerns, answered my questions, all in the pouring rain. Amazing job.

    Answer from pro:

Hi Scott, we are always happy to answer any questions you may have even in the rain!
