So glad I followed the Northwood van into Home Depot and noticed Holmes on Homes advert. I knew by the advert that Northwood would be a trustworthy and professional company to call for cleaning. I did not care how much the cleaning would cost, as long as the job was done right. John and his apprentice did an exceptional job cleaning and I will definitely refer our neighbours and friends to Northwood Heating for all services offered by the company. Thanks for a job well done!

Thank you, Northwood, for a job done professionally and efficiently. Art and Mark took their time, were thorough, and careful not to leave any mess. It was a pleasure to deal with everyone at Northwood from Josie to Brian and Gary to Art and Mark. Our ducts contained 22 years of accumulated dirt of all kinds. Now we have even heat in all the rooms and there is less need to dust. We strongly recommend Northwood to anyone who wants a professional, reliable, trustworthy HVAC contractor.

We are repeat customers of Northwood Heating and Air Conditionong. There are several reasons why we continue to use their services. Their staff are professional,courteous,and prompt. They were on time and completed the job within the specified time frame. They completely cleaned up the area at the end of the job and were very respectful of the rest of the house by using booties over their footwear and using dropclothes. I would not hesitate to use their services again and highly recommend the company.

We have been fortunate enough to have these guys work on our house twice, once with Holmes on Homes and once on our own. Both times they carried out the work efficiently and professionally. They know what they are doing and they were a pleasure to chat with. Last week we had both brothers come to our home on Friday evening of the Thanksgiving Weekend and they stayed until after 8 pm to get the work done. I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Of all the companies we had come in to inspect our particular situation (an extension that wasn't getting heated properly), they were the only ones that came up with a solution that was logical and doable.

What can I say that others haven’t expressed before. Northwood Heating & Air Conditioning Co. exemplifies professionalism on all levels. As you all know; it is so hard to find reputable service these days. With Northwood I can honestly say “look no more”. These guys delivered the best service that I’ve experienced in dealing with the many Heating & Air Conditioning Companies that I’ve encountered over the last 30-yrs. I would like to thank Eric & both of his assistants for the top-notch job in both cleaning/inspecting my furnace (they literally took it apart) and most recently in replacing my A/C unit (the neatest installation of pipes & wires – they removed all remnants of the previous two installs). They were so thorough, considerate and respectful of property. Thank you Gary for coming out and providing the quote for the A/C. The York Micro-Channel unit is perfect for our needs. Again, thanks to all the folks at Northwood involved. AMENDMENT - 2009MAY21 ... In the above statement, I gave Northwood Htg. & A/C a glowing review an original rating of "10". I still stand by it when it concerns the workers and their workmanship. The A/C unit was installed in Sep/08. However, prior to installation I was quoted a rebate by Gary (owner) which was later refused by York due to Northwood filling in the application incorrectly. Northwood promised to honour the rebate plus postage (approx $115). This promise was made in Oct/08. To-date I've been told that they mailed two cheques (Nov/08 & Jan/09), none were received. Prior to the mailing of the 2nd cheque I even suggested they use Registered Mail. I find this type of customer service sad, especially these days. We are retired folks who have been very patient. We know that the rebate cheque will never materialize, so be warned if you plan to use this company-be careful of rebates. As for my future dealings with Northwood Htg. & A/C -- that will not happen, nor will I recommend them.

Northwood did a great job fixing problems that existed in the home that we bought. Ducts had been cut off during renovations by previous owners; Northwood was able to fix the problems. When we subsequently found further issues, they returned right away without any question or hassel. They gave us a fair price and they were very easy to work with.

I wanted to replace my old and dying furnace and air conditioner, and fix a run of ductwork poorly installed by the previous homeowner. Gary took the time to walk me thoroughly through my options. He was very knowledgeable and I never felt I was being upsold. His crew were friendly, polite and seemed to really take pride in their work. I'm glad I called Northwood. Excellent service.

Gary and Bryan did an exceptional job installing a high efficiency furnace and performing a thorough duct cleaning earlier this year. The ducts were absolutely filthy with what must have been 50 years of accumulated debris but the crew kept working until they were clean, even though it meant taking several extra hours. We've dealt with many trades since buying a fixer upper and can say that these guys are the real deal: courteous, knowledgeable and professional. A++
