The entire experience was a pleasure. Both Gary and Brian did the work. They take pride in their work and it shows in the final product. Other problems identified were fixed at no additional cost and everything was cleaned up before they left. If you need any heating and or air conditioning work done then Northwood is the company to hire. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation! Duncan

Northwood Heating and AC worked on our HVAC system earlier in the year when we were doing renovations and we were totally pleased then with their performance. They returned to complete the final reno details and clean the furnace and ducts, and they gave our HVAC a tune up. I could not believe how thorough Derek and his crew were. After seven months of dusty reno work, we were looking forward to getting everything cleaned up. I was so impressed with the attention to detail that Northwood provided. They really understood the difficulties of a century home and did not try to skip or overlook anything. They spent hours cleaning the whole system, and we look forward to a healthier home environment knowing that our HVAC system is as clean as it could be. AND they were prompt, too. I highly recommend Northwood, no other company has come close to the detail on this job before.

After a week of extreme HEAT and No A/C. I decided it was time to get one. I had done my homework and reviewed many reviews on Homestars and decided to call upon Northwood Heating. They did an excellent job... All my neighbours marevelled at their work. Brian and Gary are very professional and very informative. They also accomodated my schedule (which is not heard of these days). I can not recommend a more caring,detailed and professional company. They take great pride in their work and their clients satisfaction. Great job guys!! My BBQ hook up is next on my list. I know who I will be calling..... NORTHWOOD !!!!!!

We have have dual heating/cooling system that was poorly installed by the original homeowner. The guys from Northwood came in, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. They were very professional and were reasonably priced.

My furance was cracked and could have been leaking CO, so Bryan and Gary replaced the furnace, the old AC unit, added a hepa filter and a UV light. Now I have a fully up-to-date and energy effiecient system. Thanks guys!

After moving in to our new house we decided to install a new air conditioner. My husband and I called many companies for quotes and information on what we required. My husband was visiting a family member when Northwood Heating & Air Conditioning Co. was installing their new furnace. He was very impressed with Gary, the installation and the personal touches that he did. My husband then called Northwood for a quote and needless to say our new air conditioner was installed by Brian and Gary. Many thanks for your professionalism and personal touches.

Gary came and replaced the furnace, cleaning the ductwork and put in a heat pump, what an amazingly polite, neat, and efficient crew. They will definitely service our furnace forever!!!!! Thanks to everyone there....

Northwood was originally hired to clean the furnace and wrap insulation on our duct work but upon inspection of the furnace found two cracks so it had to be replaced. Not only did Gary, Brian, Junior and Eric stay until 3:30 a.m. in the morning to ensure that we had heat but they inspected all the ducts and found some that weren’t even connected plus reattached two central vac lines which wasn’t even their responsibility. Everyone at Northwood makes you feel like they truly care as if your family. They go the extra mile by making sure your home is left as clean as the day they arrived. I will and have already recommended this company to friends and family as Northwood is a great example of a company who is proficient, trustworthy and extremely professional.

I called Gary at Northwood because of their expertise on Holmes on Homes. The team did not disappoint! They are efficient, clean, very respectful and above all knowledgeable and professional. We had duct work re-located and re-connected. They installed a fresh air pipe for the furnace. The line set for the air conditioning unit was also re-located and they recovered the freon from the air conditioner. When I told Gary we were finishing the basement he recommended we remove the poorly installed copper gas lines and install new black iron gas lines to both our barbecue and the fire place. After seeing the finished work I am confident there will be absolutely no issues when we close our ceiling in. We are extremely pleased with the work the boys from Northwood did on our home and would have no problem recommending them to friends, family and neighbours. We will be calling them back to clean our ducts and for any future issues with our home heating and air conditioning!

I hired Northwood to install the gas line, my new range, and to replace the existing ventilation fan with a bigger one. They did an excellent job. They were pleasant and courteous from the call to the office to the end of the job. They came highly recommended and I'm so happy to have found at last, people who are trustworthy, professional, courteous and efficient. I would highly recommend them. Holey! There is no one better than Northwood! They're outstanding!
