    New Roof

    Smart Roofing replaced our roof a couple of years ago. It has taken me some time to write this review because I wanted to ensure that as the time passes, there are no surprises. I was very impressed with this company and their stellar work. They were very professional and knowledgeable, they explained everything in detail. The team did a fantastic job and very efficient. Jerry, the owner, was very pleasant to deal with and extremely helpful. Work was done on time, as scheduled. My husband and I very satisfied with the work done by Smart Roofing. I have subsequently recommended them to all of our friends, neighbours and colleagues and we will certainly continue to recommend them. Thank you.

    New Roof

    Simple really...needed a new roof done, as our 'builder's roof' was reaching it's limit (10 years!!). Quote was done quickly, accurately, and in a friendly and professional manner. Installation was just as quick and easy. No mess or damage to our landscaping around the house. Would recommend to others!

    Remove existing and re-shingle roof. Add ridge and edge vents. Reconfigure section of roof to alleviate "pig trough".

    When I called Smart Roofing to get a quote, Bob came over within a few days. He was very professional, personable and detailed. The quote was fair (not the most expensive, nor the cheapest) for the scope of work that needed to be done. The job started on the day we agreed upon, and roofing team was on time every morning to start work. Bob dropped by almost daily to make sure things were going well. My only complaint is that there was some damage to expensive plants in parts of the garden that were not really near the house. A little more care when throwing shingles off the roof would have been nice. Otherwise they protected the plants and trees where we requested special care. I would have no issues whatsoever recommending Smart Roofing. Even my neighbors commented on the workmanship and the workers themselves.

Sometimes it is very difficult when it is such a steep roof, with mulitple layers, even with extra protection, some fragile flowers can get damaged. However, we do try to avoid this at all cost.     Reroofing

    We are extremely pleased with our experience with Smart Roofing. They came highly recommended from a respected neighbor and their staff provided excellent service at every stage of the job of reroofing our home. We felt everyone was genuinely concerned with providing an excellent experience for us and taking care of our roofing needs. We give them an A+ and highly recommend them.

    Complete Roof & Eaves Replacement

    I would recomend Smart Roofing Inc. to anyone. I had the pleasure of dealing directly with Jerry who is part owner of the company. He was professional, honest and knowledgable. I had gotten 3 quotes from different companies and decided to go with Smart Roofing because they provided Certainteed shingles which are a great line with a good warranty policy for a very reasonable price. Others quoted me much more for shingles that were not the best on the market. The receptionist and crew for both the roofing and eaves were exceptional. They also took great care in the cleanup and I appreciate that very much.

    complete roof replacement

    After the last wind storm my husband and I found a few shingles in our driveway. We were hoping they were not from our roof, but since we had already decided to have the roof replaced this year, we decided to contact some roofers. I looked up roofers on Homestars (I have used Homestars for references for other jobs and been totally satisfied with companies I have chosen) and contacted a few. Bob from Smart Roofing got back to me within 2 days and came out to give me a quote. He got up on the roof and confirmed our worst fears....the shingles had been from our roof. In fact, there were about 8 missing and actually a piece of plywood showing through. He mentioned that he was surprised the roof hadn't leaked yet. I told him I wanted the best of everything.....the best shingles, the asphalt impregnated underlayment, and anything else necessary to make my roof the best in the neighbourhood. He showed me the shingles that he recommended as being the best and I had lots of choices. He quoted me a price for fixing a sheet of roofing plywood which was loose, and replacing the bathroom vents as well as the roof replacement. I signed the contract immediately and he promised that he would get someone out to do the roof as soon as possible. That was on a Thurs. The following Wed. the guys arrived bright and early and worked all day on the roof. Our roof is very steep and quite large so I was surprised that they got so much done. The next day it rained. The guys were on the roof as long as possible. The day after, it snowed, and again they were on the roof finishing the job. And now, I have the most beautiful roof in the neighbourhood. The guys worked very hard despite the weather and when they were done they cleaned up the yard and left it looking as though no one had even been there. Thank you Smart Roofing. This was for sure the best job ever.

    New roof

    Smart Roofing did a wonderful job on our recent roof replacement! From the first time I spoke with Bob Morgan, I had a very good feeling about the company. And the first impression proved to be correct! Not only did Smart Roofing respond right away to my request for a quote, Bob came out to our house the next day to provide the most thorough and detailed assessment and quote. They offered the best warranty and materials, and were available to start the job just as soon as I'd hoped. The crew arrived promptly and were very courteous, efficient, and effective. The job was done right on time (and they even finished a bit early), and our new roof looks great! They carefully protected our windows and plants and cleaned up afterwards. And all of this was done for a very competitive and reasonable price! I would definitely recommend Smart Roofing to anyone who needs a new roof.

    New asphalt roof and eavstrough installation

    Needed a new roof after 16 years in a new house. Looked around in my neighborhood at what my neighbors had installed, had a variety of roofs from metal, clay and asphalt. Also, asked 5 different neighbors for references. Smart Roofing was a name that came up several times with enthusiasiam and satisfaction of workmanship. Once I called (Jerry) of Smart Roofing he attended my home within three days of contact, discussed the roof condition throughly estimated the cost, determined a start date. The entire job was done in the time specified with no extra charges. The roof and eavstrough have enhanced the appearance of my home and was completed in an efficient and workmanlike manner. Thank You

    New Roof

    Jerry and the team at Smart Roofing Inc. are very professional and offer great service. They did a wonderful job on our roof last week and left our yard in perfect condition after cleaning up.

    roof quote

    Bob from Smart Roofing is amazing as a roofer and as a person! His approach to finding problems great. He will be my roofer as long as I own a home and I will definitely be referring Smart Roofing to all my friends and family.
