I had responded to the Tender Touch Moving direct mail letter. Right from the telephone conversation with administration down to the crew. The team was fantastic; polite; helpful; friendly and very organized. They did an outstanding move with smiles and a great sense of pride to take the stress of the move away from me. I have already recommended the company to friends.

We moved on August 1st 2014. I saw the name Tender Touch Moving and knew that was the company we needed for our move.. Jason came to our home and he walked me through their moving process and was able to give me a very fair quote. Maria and Jessica who work in the office also kept me up to date with any information. The day of the move the three gentlemen arrived ready to work. Pedro who was the lead mover had Mark and Alex under his wing. They all did an outstanding job and helped make our move less stressful. My family would like to thank everyone at Tender Touch for supporting us and doing an excellent job . I already have been telling people about this wonderful company. Moved from 1300 sq ft townhouse to larger condo apartment. Most of the stuff was in our garage. What was left inside the house was on the main level. We took everything from the top and bottom levels to the main floor. 11.5 Hours. Didn't realize everything was being wrapped - including stuff I would never have wrapped - and was told at the end I had the option of not wrapping things. At the end. Original estimate was 7.25 hours and because there was construction at the new place (extra 40-50 ft of walking to get into building) I did expect it to take longer but the process was glacially slow. To put into perspective the moving company our whole family normally uses (don't think I can name names but happy to refer on request) but was not available to us this time (booking conflict) took just over 5 hours to go from our 15th floor previous condo apartment which was almost 1200 sq ft into the townhouse. I was simply stunned at the length of time required. The whole "you could have told us not to wrap stuff" after the fact was just brutal. Roughly twice the cost quoted and extra costs levied by the new building because we held the elevator well beyond the cutoff. The process was just abysmal and I feel I was grossly taken advantage of. The main moving guy on the truck plainly admitted "I could have told you it would take longer" but what can you do when all your stuff is in someone's truck - they kinda have you over a barrel. I chose them because of all the good ratings on Homestars. I've used Homestars for other referrals with great results and this is the first time I wasn't happy. Had I know the real time required I would most definitely have chosen other options. Others have had good results - good for them - but if you use these guys do so with your eyes open and don't get caught like I did. If you use them you'll have to play a more active role in what gets wrapped or not and keep an eye on the time. Good luck.

Great moving company,Movers were friendly and took care when moving our furniture, They arrived when scheduled and worked the whole time without taking a break (The move took approximately 11 hours including drive time). The movers were able to get some large furniture out of the basement which was a feat in itself. We asked them to disassemble and reassemble the beds which added to the original estimate. There was also an additional cost for moving our piano. We did the packing of the small household items and clothes. Overall a good experience,

Tender Touch Moving and Storage was EXCELLENT from start to finish. The administration was smooth and the moving team led by Phil was outstanding. They were very respectful with our items and finished early. We would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to our loved ones. Thank-you for making our move back home less stressful.

We found Tender Touch Moving & Storage online, and after we checked out a few other companies just by talking to them we felt that Tender Touch seemed to have really good service. Plus, their office was close by to us so we decided to go with them to help us move. It went great and there was nothing to complain about. Basically, we were happy with our choice.

I got word of Tender Touch Moving and Storage from a simple flyer in the mail. I decided to try them for an in-city move and loved it. In fact, they were the very best moving company I’ve ever used and that’s saying a lot since I’ve moved about a dozen times in the past years. These guys were very friendly, knowledgeable and nobody tried to hose me – most moving companies love springing on those extra fees last minute. I’ve already recommended Tender Touch to a friend because of how great they were.
