This is the second time this company has moved us and it was an AWESOME move! The three guys were GREAT!!! Although they were late because of a mechanical problems, they worked amazingly hard and I'm THRILLED to say there wasn't a scratch, nick or bump on ANYTHING! They really lived up to their name "Tender Touch!" And I would use them again, IN A HEARTBEAT! They're tops in our books!

Our move to Oshawa went so smoothly because of the professionalism and patience of the team that Jason sent to us. Phil (who looks like the dude who was born in a manger), Ali, Chris, and Wade handled our possessions with care, answered our questions with clarity and good humour, and worked darn hard with cheerful smiles from dawn till dusk. My wife and I want to thank the entire crew from Tender Touch for doing a fantastic job. (P.S., Wade, sorry the Habs didn't win, but they'll probably make the finals next year. Ali and Chris, good luck with uiversity. Phil, happy yodelling in the Alps. Jason, bless you for answering all of Megan's questions and sending us the Dream Team.)

Phil (the ex-roadie extraordinaire)and his crew did an outstanding job moving us to Kingston. I have no idea how Phil got everything into a 30'er because it was filled to the gills. Then, loading off was a big chore with lots of steep stairs. But watching the guys hoist that couch up and through that window was a miracle to behold. But risking life and limb is no big deal for an ex-roadie. Special thanks to Nick and Christian on the load-on (great packing Chris!), and Ali and Big Mike on the load-off. Good pros all. You made a difficult day a lot less stressful.

Having moved several times over the course of the past few years, I have had to use many different moving companies, whereby at the end of the day,there is always something missing/broken/lost. These guys are definitely the ones I will use again, and recommend to ANYONE looking for short or long haul moves. Thanks to Mike, Ali, and of course, Maria!

The quality of service provided by Tender Touch Moving is absolutely exceptional. We own handcrafted wood furniture by Harvest House and were very picky in selecting a moving company. Tender Touch Moving rose to the occasion and exceeded our expectations. Tender Touch Moving moved our Harvest House furniture 5 times during the period 2003-2008 (yes, we've moved around!). The consistency and level of service was exceptional every single time. The movers are friendly, efficient, organized and surprisingly knowledgeable about furniture overall. They padded and even double padded every single piece of furniture with immense care and attention. They covered our stairs and floors with runners, and covered our railings to ensure maximum protection. After 5 moves with Tender Touch Moving, we do not have a single scratch or dent in our Harvest House furniture. Dealing with Tender Touch Moving is securing piece of mind. We strongly recommend Tender Touch Moving to anyone who cares about their furniture and belongings.

Moving into first home was a big step for me - and since I knew only one home, moving was not something I was accustomed to (i had no idea what to expect!). I was so so glad that I found Tender Touch Moving. This was a very emotional process for me, and they helped make it a great experience. The movers were more than happy to accommodate my requests. They were not only sensitive to the fact that this was my first home, but they were also very professional. I was so happy that all my belongings were handled with such care and efficiency! Whether moving into your first home, or your tenth, I can honestly recommend Tender Touch Moving - they are more than just another moving company......that is for sure!

I was extremely impressed with the service I received from tender touch moving from the time I booked with the office to when the crew dropped off the last box. The moving crew arrived on schedule, they were very personable and very careful with all my belongings and the move was within the price quoted. This was the most worry free move I have experienced. They did an excellent job and I would have no hesitation in using them again and recommending them to my friends and family. You get what you pay for and they were well worth every penny.

Used Tender Touch a couple of years ago and loved them. Very professional, showing up exactly on time, taking care of all my possessions. We selected Tender Touch as our moving company because of the good reviews posted on this site. What a big mistake that was. My boyfriend was moving from his two bed room condo to our new house. He accumulated very little stuff as a bachelor therefore we expect the move will be very quick and easy. He had even gone through the trouble of making sure none of the boxes were overly heavy. However the move didn't go well at all. The mover showed up late. Their excuse was that my boyfriend had given them the wrong address even thought they had the correct address written down on their documents. The movers moved at a painfully slow pace. One mover carried one drawer up the stair at one time and then only two curtain rods up the other time. Not sure if it was done on purpose (they charge by the hour) or they are just don't know how to move things. Likely both. They also broke off two of the coffee table legs. The move took an entire day! (10 hours) I have moved many times before with much more stuff. The move generally didn't take more than 4 to 5 hours. The estimate Tender Touch gave us was $450 and the total came to over $1,000. More than double their estimate! When we call the company, they are unwilling to accept the fact that what they charge was unreasonable. I would never hire this company again and make sure all my friends don't make the same mistake that I made.

I left my media room packing and storage a little late prior to demolition of the room. I called many of the sites well rated at HomeStars. Some didn't answer their phone, some didn't return my message. Some took my call and quoted me dates that were a month or more out, far longer than I could wait. I called Tender Touch based on the strength of the reviews here. The gave me a date the week I needed. Then, they offered dates even sooner, and finally called me back offering me crews the same day I called. I was amazed by this level of service. I took the same day service. The crews arrived on site on schedule, with regular updates from the office on arrival time. There was a bit of initial confusion during the setup (due to the rapidity with which the move was scheduled) but as soon as the supervisor arrived, they went into high gear with a level of professionalism and care that you usually associate with the big long haul movers. Once completed, the supervisor did not charge me for the initial period of setup, and explained every charge carefully to me. The crew was very personable and enjoyable to work with. They did a great job and I recommend them.
