    Installing new kitchen faucet (removing leaky, rusty old tap).

    10-star service, without a doubt. Michael and his co-op plumbing student arrived early (calling first to make sure that was okay) ... put covers over their shoes at the front door ... and then set to work. The plumbing job was done quickly, neatly, professionally. (I later asked for some advice on a bigger job and was very pleased to hear Michael's clear-cut, no-nonsense view of how best to handle it. He is a real pro.) Very happy to have found Aviv Plumbing; will certainly call Michael again. Highly recommended.

    Emergency Pipe Repair

    Cold called Aviv plumbing suspecting a broken pipe. Technician arrived in an hour quickly diagnosed the source of the leak which was concealed behind a wall. Removed a small section of bathroom tiling rerouted the pipe stopping the leak and restoring water. The owner Michael joined the technician to complete the job. They removed the debris from the repair and cleaned up the work site. Considering three hours earlier I was looking at a pool of water on the floor and lost water pressure, I consider myself fortunate that the whole problem was resolved for less than five hundred dollars. In addition every was pleasant and informative in dealing with a harried homeowner. I highly recommend using this firm in the future.

    unclogged shower drain

    My bathtub drain was totally clogged and I tried to unclog it with baking soda/vinegar/salt/hot water and other natural methods. I spent an entire day checking online for other solutions , but had no success and was totally frustrated. I did not want to call a plumber. However, 24 hours later, defeated and dejected I caved and call a friend for a referral. As luck would have it, she referred Michael and he quickly,efficiently and professionally unclogged my drain - he was super clean, knowledgable, honest and a really nice guy. FYI- using natural method would have not worked in my situation. Only a professional plumber had the tools and know how to effectively clear the mess/dirt/hair trapped inside.

    toilet installation

    I would highly recommend Aviv Plumbing. Over the phone Michael was very helpful, patient and straightforward. In person, Raphie did an excellent job, was so polite and honest. Next time I have any plumbing issues I will definitely call Aviv Plumbing again.

    plumbing in bathroom

    Came to my house to change the taps in my bathroom. He showed up on time did a great job his price was reasonable and i would rcommend him for any plumbing job in your house. Very clean and professional

    Shower leak.

    I had a shower leak which required immediate attention. Michael was attentive and took care of the repair. The shower required new parts which were not easy to find as my model had been discontinued. Michael found the necessary parts after searching all over the city and even had one made specially for the repair. He then installed the parts correctly and quickly. I will definitely be recommending Aviv Plumbing to all my friends as not only is Michael good but you can trust him to get the job done right.

    Replaced my shut-off valve for my exterior faucet and repaired my running toilet.

    I spoke to Michaelthe plumber over the phone and he told me what needed to be done to repair my leaking shut-off valve. He replaced the valve with top quality parts in no time at all. He was so efficient I decided to have him take a look at my running toilet. He replaced a few partsand had that repaired in under 15 minutes.

    Basement Reno

    First let me say that I wish I could leave more than 10 for this rating... My husband and I hired Aviv after meeting Michael to complete quite a bit of work. We essentially had the basement done and so needed everything that goes with that such as sink, toilet, shower hook-up, laundry, outdoor access, etc. the job is now complete and Michael has done an outstanding job, everything looks and runs perfectly. We did experience a hiccup during this job which was to NO FAULT of his own and despite complications he still came through and provided us with the essentials we desperately needed in our basement. I would most definitely refer Aviv Plumbing. We are very happy with his work and very happy to have had the pleasure of working with him. He is very professional and definitely knows his stuff!     Installed a new toilet

    I needed to replace an old toilet in my home and Michael solved all the issues involved! He helped me choose which toilet to purchase, what features to look for and then installed my new toilet, and removed the old one! He is a pleasant, professional, patient plumber and I would highly recommend him!

    Replace cartridges on two sinks

    Recommended to me by my sister. Very nice, well-spoken guy. Knows his stuff and did the work properly and quickly. Was on time and cleaned up after himself. What more can you ask for?
