    Fix pipe and tubing for humidifier and repair major leak

    From the moment we found Aviv Plumbing they have never disappointed us. Every time we've called them they have shown up in no time at all and have done an absolutely fantastic job! They are truly incredible and I would recommend them highly to anyone who wants first-rate, professional, reasonable, quick & excellent plumbing expertise.

    Sewer back up while out of the country

    While in Mexico, friends (2 mid aged women) were living in my home in Toronto. The sewer backed up under the sub floor in my finished basement creating an almost unbearable stench. A neighbour called his plumbing company (AVIV Plumbing) and arranged for them to come to my home. I talked to Michael from AVIV via long distance. He was concise and I was very relieved that he did what he did until I could get home and take further action. My house guests and neighbours couldn't have been more impressed with Michael from AVIV. It is very rewarding to know that being out of the country does not mean everything is lost.

    Replaced a leaky gasket above my garbarator.

    The job was done well and completed with a sense of urgency. Great service. Prompt. Reliable! Reasonably priced. George was very well mannered and easy going. Dod a great job.

    Bathtub faucet and Kitchen faucet

    I was given Mike's name from a good friend and I was extremely pleased with our initial contact where he had me email photo's of the taps and gave me pricing information. He arrived on time and went to work right away. He explained what they did and was personable, professional and the price was exactly as promised. I highly recommend him! Thank you Mike :)

    Repair leaking faucet

    We have used Aviv before and was fully satisfied with the knowledge, honesty and service. When water leaked downstairs from a shower upstairs, we did not hesitate to call Aviv again and did not bother to ask upfront how much the cost will be, which was was a mistake. The service this time was unfortunately less satisfying. Actual work incl. diagnosis probably only took an hour or.so Still not clear why we were charged so much for tightening the pipes and caulking the loose hardware/faucet. As I did not get the comfort that the work done solved the problem, I asked the technician whether there is a warranty which he indicated no as there may be other problems. This gave me less comfort in trusting the service. For now, I still have a bucket and towel below the leak area just in case.

    Hi there. I am so sorry that you were unhappy. I sent a very qualified plumber to your home and I myself came down to your home. I gave you a price while we stood in the kitchen and did locate the leak. As we explained and showed you, the faucet in the fiberglass enclosure had never been secured and the plate was almost 1/2" away from the wall. We cut open the drywall behind the faucet and secured it. We secured the trim from the from the front as well. We filled the tub numerous times and drained it. We operated the shower. I also spent some time discussing with you an issue with your fridge water line. All this while the other plumber and apprentice took care of the problem. I am sorry that you were dissatisfied and feel that you were over charged. I believe that the charge INCLUDING HST was less than that quotet to you while we stood in your kitchen. I believe that we have solved the problem to the best of our ability and the reason for not providing you with a warranty is because of the general sloppy installation of the original acrylic enclosure and the related plumbing. I encourage you to remove the bucket and the towel and to ensure that the curtain is fully closed when your son takes a shower and that the trim remains sealed to the acrylic. If in the future you do decide to use our services again, it would be appreciated if you would consult with me in person if you are unhappy.

    Main Stack Replacement

    Needed to replace the main stack in our just acquired house due to a leak (and ensure that we didn't have any further water damage). Michael and team assessed the situation, were very clear on what had to be done, and managed the do the job promptly, carefully, and on budget. Would (and will) definitely use them again!

    Faucet and drain repair

    Michael provided excellent service repairing a faucet that had come apart and two others that needed to be centered. He is very professional, knowledgable and efficient. He also provides information on things that may need to be addressed in the future. I would highly recommend his services if you are looking for a plumber and are in need of a professional that knows what he is doing - this is the company for you!

    Replacing cartriudge on leaking bathtub faucet

    Michael Aviv provided both a timely and honest service. Where other contractors consistently attempted to up-sell me for this job, Michael Aviv cut through such inflated costs and delivered true quality and value. Thanks for saving me $1200! Would highly recommend Aviv to all, and will definitely use in the future!

    Repair to my Shower

    Michael is warranty contractor for Rubinet plumbing among aothers. I was there to get some parts and was introduced to him. He was at my home the same day, my problem was fixed in short time - work was professional, neat and above all he fixed what i had called him to fix. Have not problem giving this company a 5 star rating.

    Plumbing in Bathroom/Kitchen
