As a long standing customer, without much need for customer care to date, it was gratifying to receive very friendly, efficient and timely response from the moment I called your service centre, to receiving same day on-site service by your technician on our home alarm system. This included the relocation of a motion detector to ensure it was now positioned to monitor the entire room, and the subsequently identified need to purchase batteries for our 2 wireless transmitters, to remedy a 'low battery' warning light. The technician, already on the road when he received our service call from the central office, didn't have a supply of the required 4 button batteries and took upon himself to go to the local drugstore to make the purchase on our behalf. While all this work was most definitely done outside of warranty, upon being presented with the completed Service Call Report detailing the tasks, including the purchased batteries , the bottom line showed the 'balance owing' at the previously advised flat rate of $75 +HST. All-in-all, a demonstrated customer care experience beyond all expectations from start-to-finish. Now i fully understand why Pre-Lock has retained our business for many years.

Called about a broken front lock and they were there the next day. Ordered a replacement and although that took a bit of time, because it was a special order from the U.S. they installed it perfectly and Lee was great. He only charged for the installation and not for when he came out the first time to check it out. Would recommend highly!!

Fantastic service, great responsive company. Meticulous work. I moved into a new house and wanted a realistic and practical upgrade to my alarm system. While in the past others have tried to sell me impractical and unnecessary " solutions", Paul at Pre lock provides realistic practical solutions that really work and markedly improve security. The team at Pre-Lock are reliable dependable and amazingly neat and capable at installation in a finished home. I haven't seen anyone pull wires through walls as well. You will not be disappointed!

Paul the owner reinforced the security in our house as if it was his own. On the day of installation, he came over twice to check in. He represents the notion of "peace of mind". We will continue to use him in the future for our security needs.

We were burgled and I called Pre-Lock and the gentleman came out promptly, he secured my home, re keyed the locks and made other doors more secure. He worked neatly, cleaning up the mess afterwards and I was happy with his work.

Cory from Pre-lock expertly installed 3 high security lock sets at my home, and even corrected some other security related issues with the doors at no extra cost (installed hinge security pins on an out swinging door, and reversed the door glass so that the fasteners would be on the inside of the house instead of outside). Cory even lubricated the door hinges to get rid of any creaking sounds. I was very pleased with the Mul-T-Lock door lock products, and the quality of service provided by Pre-Lock. Thank you Cory. Pre-lock were prompt in response and on time on service call. Quickly and efficiently fixed and resolved problem of front door lock and back door lock that were not able to be locked from the outside. Would highly recommend!!!!

I came across Pre-Lock on HomeStars and was impressed by their reviews and they did not disappoint! I communicated our needs to Steve at Pre-Lock and his service and recommendations were excellent. He was also very patient with us while we decided what wanted for our new home to help us feel secure. Cory installed our window bars and did a great job not making any extra holes in our walls and he was so good about cleaning up after himself. He even befriended our dog who was following him around by the end of the install! He also did a great job on installing new hardware for our doors and changing the locks. He took the time to ensure the doors were opening and closing smoothly and even fixed issues left behind on the doors from the old owners. We would highly recommend Pre-Lock and we will be calling them in the future any of our security needs. Thank you Pre-Lock and especially Cory and Steve!!!

If you need locksmith & related security services, go with Pre-Lock. We bought an old house and decided to get our locks & knobs replaced, and some additional security added to our doors. John did a great job inspecting our house and making some security recommendations. He talked us through many lock options and gave us candid advice on which one would best fit our requirements. The install was quick & straightforward, and our locks and doorknobs work very well. We elected to go with relatively pricey equipment, but their basic re-keying services are very reasonably priced. I would recommend them enthusiastically, would use them for any lock-related work, and regret not considering them for alarm services.
