They are bullies!!! I had their service 2 years back and did not go with them last year. This year they called us and we said we are not interested and said we are not going for anything. As per their protocol they have to call before any service but without any warning, that too after most of the prime season gone, without notice when we were not at home, some one has unlawfully entered our lawn and done some work (we did not even knew that the service was done!). We saw an invoice tucked under our doormat and we called what is that for. They said that is for the service. One of the managers was supposed to call us, but no one did. We are getting invoice after invoice and we are not able to talk with someone who has some say. Now they have sent a collection notice and threatening about our credit. When they have entered our property without our consent and now this threat. We are planning to take this issue to BBB and we are planning to consult some lawyers if this is not resolved. I will never recommend them after their bullying attitude and no wonder they are losing business.

We took this service last year that was pathetic and they distroy our lawn instead of taking out weeds,this year they called for renew and I totally refuse but now they r asking money for aeration and I remember greendrop guy came to our house day before and I strictly told him that plz we don't need ur service and don't come in my backyard widout our permission,there is no proof that they did any service and we already hired another service why greendrop came inside widout my permission even after seeing the flag of another company. Why they r asking for money ,I want all my money back which I paid last year bcs they destroyed my lawn and weeds r still there,if they want they can come and hav a look

I have been a customer of Green Drop for close to 10 years until, 2014 when they killed my cedar tree with week killer. They promised to replace the tree, admitting they did it and, guess what?? The tree never came in spite of several reminders.

I used to have Green Drop look after my lawn for about 10 years up until about 3 years ago. At that time their worker had to showed up to do a fall granular application, with less than a cup of fertilizer. He swore up and down that this was more than enough for a 53 x 130 foot lot. I cancelled their service, they could have cared less. This spring a representative showed up trying to sell me on their service again. I told him of my past bad experiences with Green Drop and he PERSONALLY assured me this time everything would be done in a timely and professional manner. Guess what, it is is actually now worse than before. I practically begged them to come out and do the first application, they finally showed up after having my money for over 2 months. Their excuse was, the worker for my area had quit. This time, the worker got food poisoning at 1:30 in the afternoon. Most of my neighbors used to use Green Drop, now all I see is other company names on their lawns, I assume they must have been treated the same way. Now that I may be their only customer in this vicinity, I guess this is why I don't get any service. This company used to be great, they have progressively gotten worse and worse. How can you properly apply fertilizer on a lot my size in less than 5 minutes, my guess is you can't. This company is the worst.

Sept 2015 Update After a full summer I can say I am overall very happy with the condition of the lawn, the lack of weeds and the responsiveness of the company. The striping did even out after the second application and the lawn is now a consistent lush green. They have been very good to work with, they have easily accomodated changes to the scheduled applications so I could ensure I was around to water in the fertilizer etc. The grass stayed nice and green all summer and it is far more weed free than it ever hads bee, Pretty good deal for 1.2 acre versus the price. Will probably use them again ext year. Signed up for the "Guaranteed" 5 applications of weed and fertilzer over the summer. So far pretty happy with the results. First application did a great jog of knocking down the weeds. The fertilizer has helped green up the lawn but here are some very dark green and light green striping. There is also one small burn spot that is going to need overseeding. I am presuming the second application of fertilizer will even up the grass colour a lot. Will report back on later results.

For the hefty price of 824.25/year they put up and take down the christmas lights each year. The service was absolutely terrible as they where always late putting them up and taking them down with several burnt out lights they don't replace. Now that we are moving they refuse to buy back the lights. Don't waste your time or money on this company. They are not worth either. *Update* Despite the reply on here from greendrop the issue is still ongoing. After calling several times to the company they finally made us a lowball offer of $460.00 for the lights and we countered at $500.00. We have yet to receive a response after leaving several messages saying that we'd agree to the $460 to be done with it, and we have neither compensation or the lights we paid the full price of $2000.00 plus almost $1000.00 annually to have set up. It seems they have been stalling to get back to us and the issue remains unresolved.

I paid for weed control and date was set, nobody showed, when I called them they claimed not to be able to access the back yard. I prefer to keep the gate closed during the day for security but on this day I left it open for them to provide service. They rescheduled for the following Monday and again I left the gate open and again nobody showed, I received an email stating that they would come on Wednesday, rain is forecasted for that day. I called them to speak to somebody in customer service and was told that they don't have any customer service, from what I've found with this company it's the only thing that they've been honest about. I cancelled the service and would not recommend them to anybody.

We have been using Green Drop faithfully for 10 years now. Our home is on a corner lot and I can't tell you how many compliments we get on how beautiful our lawn looks. It's lush, thick and free of dandelions. We have quite a few neighbours that use Green Drop as well. The staff at Green Drop are very courteous and knowledgeable. Thank you Green Drop!

I have been a long time customer of Green Drop and have had nothing but great results. Our lawn is the nicest of all the lawns on our block. Green Drop has gone the extra step of helped me understand how often to water to get the best results.

We have been long time clients of Green Drop, They do provide exceptional service on Lawn care, Tree Care, In over 15 years not a problem. Very helpful in making me understand how to care for a lush green lawn with very little water.
