    power washing

We hired north shore home services to clean the windows on two properties after the recent smoke incident. They were able to fit us into their busy schedule and did a very professional job. Including clean some trickery and hard to reach skylights and a roof that had 3 years of caked on dirt including paint and stucco from a recent renovation.

    Thank you!

    Gutter installation

The company offers 5 year workmanship warranty but they don't honor it. They installed gutters for us in 2013 but it wasn't installed properly. We had to call them to come back to fix it few times. It was next to impossible to get someone to come back to fix the work. They didn't come back to fix it till I threatened them with a chargeback. As of right now, there are still some issues but I have given up on them! Don't ever call this company for anything....they know nothing about their line of work and customer service

    Gutter installation

We had hired this company to install gutter and downpipes for my new built home in West Vancouver. But the gutter was installed incorrectly and one of the corner started to leak right away. For past 18 months I have been trying to resolve the leaking problem with them but until now the corner still leaks and the president of the company not only accused me of calling them to many times but also asked me to take a conflict resolution training course. If you want a company not only unable to do a quality job as their promised but also insult you, then go ahead hire this company, otherwise, don't give them any business....

    Replace gutter

We were changing our roof from a solarium to a torch on and required a new gutter to replace the old one. We hired theses guys thinking they knew what they were doing. They don't. They took full payment before they came which is red flag #1. Then they were a week late. Once they came I saw they installed the new gutter (wrong colour) but saw that they left my original downspout for that part of the house just dangling. I thought they would come back to hook it up but they didn't. I finally phoned and the man with an accent, (british?) was quite rude on the phone. I told him that the installer didn't hook up my original downspout to the new gutter. His response was that they didn't have the proper part but more importantly that the installer felt there was sufficient drainage going to the down spout on the other end of the house. Really. Everywhere I look there's two downspouts per side of the house, including mine before these morons came. The new gutter was installed so that it was a full inch lower than the corner it was attached too. So water is expected to drain up an inch and then flow all the way to the other downspout 70 feet away I told the guy? His answer was yes, the installer deemed it sufficient. So, 2/3rd of my roof is now supposed to use one downspout and 1/2 of that is supposed to flow up an inch to reach said downspout 70 feet away. His rude response was over and over that the installer thought it was sufficient. My response is that installer didn't have the part, and this company was too cheap to return and finish the job. Take some accountability for your mistake and say sorry, we'll be back to finish the job, to the standard building code no less. I think the reason they take full payment upfront is cause they cut corners and don't do a good job. This whole job cost me $350 for a 20 foot gutter and a corner bracket. After the first rain, I realized I had no choice. I had to go to Dicks lumber and buy the rest of the parts to attach the new gutter to the original downspout. I could have saved hundreds of dollars by buying the rest of the gutter from dicks and spending the extra 30 mins it would have taken to do what they did. I would never use this company again and would HIGHLY recommend anyone else to stay far away from them as well.

Power Washing, Window and Gutter Cleaning

Hired this compnay based on reviews. Credit card info was taken at time of booking and charged several days after service. Vintage collectors vehicle parked in carport was damaged by workers. Got Quote for repair of vehicle ($1200) and asked company to refund charges as the cost to repair the vehicle was equal to what we had paid for the services. Response from company was aggressive and rude. They threatened to put a lien on our property, file a negative credit report with equifax and sue us in court if we tried to reverse the charge on our credit card!?!? Very unprofessional!

    Installation of gutters

Quick work - but a quality job. Was provided with a great warranty for the work done and have never had problem with any of the work done. They helped pick the right colour to match the home paint and it looked excellent when done.

    window cleaning - gutter installations

I have used Northshore home services for several jobs around my house, and the staff their treat their clients right. They are always on time, professional, and get the job done well beyond my expectations. I have used them for roofing, gutter replacement, and even small things such as Christmas light installations, and window cleaning. No job is to big or to small and I would not hesitate to use them again!

    New Gutters

Installed new gutters, got the order wrong, and never heard from them again (except getting charged). Gutters look good, but service so-so. Wouldn't use them again. Got to be better services out there for new gutters.

    Exterior Cleaning

Our Strata Council hired this company to clean the exterior of our condo building. While the job was completed satisfactorily in the sense that the building looks cleaner, the work was done in a very disorganized way and as a result parts were missed. Also they held us to ransom by constantly adding in additional costs for areas we understood were included in the original quote. For example we were asked to pay extra to clean the inside of the decorative awnings and roof areas over some of the balconies. Throughout the job we had great difficulty getting responses to our concerns. As a result we will not be using this company for our ongoing maintenance nor will we be recommending this company to other strata corporations in the lower mainland.
