    gutters and downpipes

    North Shore recently installed gutters and downpipes on our new home. Troy came on a Saturday to quote with lots of colour choices, product options and knowledge. Once we had made our decision, the job was started within a few days. The guys worked two long days on our very tall home, and returned on day three to complete. Although there were a couple of challenges, Troy stuck to his initial quote. The next day rained a torrent. Troy came to check the work and spotted 2 leaks which were attended to later the same day. The house looks so good, neighbours came over to comment. Thumbs up from us. Cheryl Smith

    Gutter replacement

    Nathan and Adam came to fit my gutters - not only did I get a top quality product, but their workmanship was excellent - they were fast, efficient and friendly. They did a great job with the minimum of fuss and my gutters look awesome. Even my neighbours stopped and took their business cards..... I would highly recommend this company and especially Nathan and Adam. Dale who came to price the job was thorough, friendly and informative and I knew exactly what I was getting for my money - and I got what he promised and more. I just couldn't be happier..... HOWEVER.....two years later my gutters are leaking at the corners... when i did eventually get through to the company's call centre and left a message, it was not returned. It was really hard to get anyone to answer a phone, but when I did get through and spoke to someone, (which took several days of trying) I was told that I had to apply via email, and an electronic form was sent to me, which i filled in and emailed back TWICE... this is the worst after service I have ever experienced. I left my first message with this company on 15 August 2013, and am still waiting to hear from anyone as to when my gutters will be fixed. The cruel irony is that i had my original gutters replaced because of leaking corners, and now I have the same problem, plus they don't hold as much rain water, so sometimes it comes tipping over the sides.. and I am $3,000 down... I also learned another valuable lesson - don't leave a review on Home Stars when you are offered a $50 incentive to do so... it clouds your judgement.... I still think that the guys who installed the gutters were awesome, but the after service from this company is crap...and if you are not good on the computer then having to file your complaint and service needs via an electronic form is not the way to go....I am off to report them to the BBB....

    window cleaning, powerwashing, and gutter repairs

    I never take the time to write reviews, but I feel that this company was very professional, courteous, and friendly. Definately worth the time and effort! Every time they come to do a service on my home, they always ask me to take a look, and make sure I'm happy with it. I have on some occassions asked them to touch up areas and they willingly accommadate my requests. I feel that every employee that has come has been this way. I don't know about anyone else, but I would highly recommend this company for any work to do.

    New Gutters, Drains & Soffits

    We recently renovated our home and had North Shore Home Services install new gutters, downspouts and soffits. They did a great job and helped transform the look and feel of my home. I would certainly recommend Troy and his team.

    Window cleaning, pressure washing and gutter installation

    I have hired this company to perform a number of jobs for me - from having gutters installed on my last house to pressure washing and window cleaning on my current one. They showed up on time and were very professional in dealing with me. The job they did was fantastic - never a problem with the gutters (loved the downspout cleanouts they added) and the windows - which we have a lot of - we all cleaned streak free. I would not hesitate to recommend them and in fact have to many of my friends who have also had terrific experiences with their work.

    Cleaning Services

    Called got an estimate, they came did the work, doubled the price after they completed. Tells me they are putting a lien on my property. Very un-professional in work and business practices.

    gutters and downspouts

    Beware of this company. They engage in fraudulent practices. They will ask for your credit card as method of payment. Then they will overcharge the contract claiming extra materials used and so on. You will be left to deal with credit card company which always side with the merchant. Your only other recourse is to go through small claim court. We tried to resolve this with the owner but the guy gave us the bully attitude and threatening to put a lien on our property. The project was delay for over a month. Apparently, they pulled their workers to other lucrative jobs and left smaller projects hanging. Stay away or you’ll be sorry.

    Gutter cleaning

    We hired these guys to clean the gutters of the small townhouse complex we live in. They did a decent job and on time and on budget. Can't complain but can't compliment either. Average.

    Gutter and downspout work - if you can call it that.

    Watching water drip into our basement with today's heavy rains, we knew we had a problem with our new gutters installed by North Shore Home Services. We have had such a bad experience with North Shore Home Services that we feel compelled to warn other people who are considering using them for gutters and downspouts to be extremely careful of this company. Get a quote in writing. Get a warranty in writing - before they show up. We had gutters installed early in the year, thinking we were smart and would get ahead of the Fall rush. Engaging this company was a mistake - the job was rushed and the gutters leak water into our basement now. They will NOT come and fix the problem, and keep coming up with excuses, or just not showing up. Very frustrating. We spent quite a bit of money also, so the job was not a "cheap fix". Beware!

    Sorry - we are unaware of this issue. This must have slipped through the cracks. We have tried searching for a Daphne in our database, but we can't seem to find it. Please call us to rectify this problem immediately. The current owner has owned North Shore Home Services for 17 years, and we have a great reputation, because we don't leave customers high and dry. Once in awhile, a customer slips through the cracks that is not happy, and we try to encourage all employees that repeat customers are the lifeblood to our business, so we need to keep you happy!
