    Terrible Service, Terrible Furniture Shop

    I cannot even give this shop 1 star, if there is a way to give out negative star, I will definitely do so. This shop is ridiculous, the service super bad, and irresponsible. The delivery of the bed delayed for a month, then I have received a defective bed on the day of delivery, requested the refund on the bed and they trying to accommodate and promised to send a brand new bed over after dealing with the customer services for months. Finally the replacement delivery arrived, and only headboard being sent, not the whole bed. This is ridiculous and very annoying. If you want the rest of the days to be so mad with your bed, you can go with this shop, if you want to be smart, you better spread this words out and warn any of your friends not to buy anything with this company.

    Bed Room Set Ordered - Not delivered on time - horrible service

    Update : After writing review on the Homestar the owner responded and the problem was resolved by the Bedroomshop. Thanks to HomeStar for giving us this platform. **** Originally submitted review ************** Horrible experience, bought a bedroom set from there. had so many issues. The set not delivered on time, still waiting. The sales people in the mississauga location do not care, and are not helpfull. their delivery schedule is constantly changed. they have no respect for your time and they don't care about customers once you have ordered. Never going back to this shop again.

    Customer Service Non-Existent

    I ordered two bunk beds with four mattresses to go with the bunk beds in the middle of may. Was told it would take 4-6 weeks (also stated on invoice). At the 7 week mark I inquired about the status of the order and did not get any response. Finally in the middle of July i received a call that my order was in and arranged for delivery on July 14th. This was for a new cottage in Collingwood which we needed to furnish. Delivery drivers show up, and they are missing one of the bunk beds, and one of the mattresses. The delivery driver tried to call the store to see what the issue was but could not get ahold of anybody. He gave me the name of the warehouse manager (Sarah) to call. I've now left 5 messages and still have not received any response. I called the store today (August 8th) and spoke with the store manager (Dave). Was told that the second bunk bed was never actually ordered with the original order, has since been ordered but he could not give me a time frame for when it was due in, other than "any day now". Now that summer is more than half over and its unlikely this will be resolved quickly, our first summer at our new cottage wasn't quite what we expected since we don't have a bed for our guests to sleep in. I fully understand that things happen and people make mistakes. But this company has made zero effort to fix it, has not kept me informed, and hasn't even given me the courtesy of a return phone call. I was expecting guests on the weekend right after the delivery was made but had to cancel because we didn't have that second bunk bed which we needed for people to sleep in. And since then we've rescheduled two other weekends since we don't have proper sleeping arrangements. It would be nice, and just good business sense, if the store acknowledged the mistake, said sorry, and proactively kept in touch with the customer to tell them how it was being rectified. Not rocket science. Instead they get a bad review.

    Hello Rick I want to sat you are absolutely correct and have reason to be upset. You ordered 2 custom canadian made bunk beds, and the sales person only had 1 on the invoice when they sent it to Sara, to be ordered. Unfortunately we only knew about this when we delivered it to your cottage that day. We then ordered it immediately, but unfortunately the manufacture treats this as a new order, and to add the things, its their busiest time of the year. I have since spoke to Sara and asked her to phone you again with an update. Its my understanding it will be ready this week or next. I would like to offer you a $200 gift certificate towards I hope another purchase. We value your Business and want to try and make things right. Jeff reynolds President

    Mattresses

    The previous review which i have deleted and appologize for as it was a misunderstanding on my part. The sales people are very nice there and I got my delivery today. The delivery people were very polite which was nice to see. Yes I would shop there again and I will not get upset from not understanding what was said.

    This order was placed on Monday Aug 1st - which was the civic holiday. The order desk and warehouse were closed for the holiday. The order was placed on Tuesday Aug 2nd with a Rush status to get the mattresses in stock as soon as possible for this order. Customer service spoke to customer in depth explaining that the shipment was due to come in the Week of August 8th and we would arrange for immediate delivery once received. At that point there was no indication that this was going to be a problem. Mattresses are made to order and typically take 2 - 4 weeks however we were able to add to an existing shipment to accommodate this rush. The invoice does state "Please Deliver ASAP" but there was no delivery date assigned at time of sale. We are sorry for the disappointment and are doing everything in our power to deliver these mattresses as quickly as possible.

    Amazing Service!

    I found a material pattern that I loved at another store but was worried about the quality of the furniture so I brought a sample into The Bedroom Shop. Within five minutes they showed me a comparable product, in the same pattern, but in a much higher quality piece of furniture (Ashley),...for less money! I was so happy. My order came in on time as advised and pickup at the warehouse was seamless. Would definitely shop her again!

    Awful experience.... Avoid doing business with this company

    Avoid this company at all costs. My horrible experience with this company is one that I will be sharing with anyone who will listen. How criminal charges have not been placed against this company is beyond me. Not only did they refuse to return my deposit for future that I never received, I was threatened by the owner that if I came to the store he would call the police and have me arrested. I simply wanted my money back for a product that I never received. I did contact the police however, I was told this was a civil matter and I would have to file a claim with the courts. Please take the time to fully read other reviews of this company and the tone of the responses from the owner Jeff. This guy has some serious anger issues and no business morals..

    Great prices, strong customer service!

    Bought a Ashley Sofa Chaise from Peter at the mississauga location, got an amazing deal, and customer service was great. My sofa did come damaged from Ashley, and the process of getting a new one shipped was painless. Jeff at the service department made sure I was completely satisfied, and was very quick to respond to any of my questions. Don't hesitate to buy from here, as their prices are some of the best I've seen. You will have a solid piece of mind because of the warranty they provide with their furniture, and they truly stand behind the products they sell. Will shop here again.

    THE WORST FURNITURE STORE EVER

    We were told we'll get our order on Tuesday morning, so we cancelled our plans to wait for the delivery and got rid of our old mattress. It didn't arrived until 4pm and we were sent the WRONG mattress with a marking on in that says DISPLAY!!! Called the customer service and we were told that the mattress we ordered is no longer being sold or something like that and we should settle on the mattress they sent us or wait 2-3weeks for the correct mattress. Sara gave us the guarantee that the mattress' plastic is sealed and they were just marked "display" but it wasn't floor model; And we can use it for the time being until the right mattress comes. I wasn't home at the time I was speaking to her, when I got home I checked the plastic and it wasn't sealed at all, it was opened and taped closed. I called the Newmarket location and spoke to David asking perhaps for a mattress protector so we can at least have something to sleep on for the night and have peace of mind. He said he can sold it to me half-price, when I said I am not willing to pay any cent for their mistake, he rudely told me he has a customer to help so I asked him "is that the way you handle customers?", he replied "YEs" and hang up. Stress is all I got from this company!!!!

    Im sorry you feel this way, and truly not sure we deserve this review seeing I gave you what you wanted. your delivery was always booked for tuesday, and you could of picked any day this week, so not sure why you say you cancelled your plans. As for your mattress, we had the new 2016 version of the mattress and we told you that prior to delivery. Yes the bag had tape on it as sometimes the bags split open, when its cold out. Their was a tag from sealy on the mattress that says floor model, and as explained this is something that sealy does at the factory so we know what mattresses are for display and what mattresses are tagged for customers. when I spoke to you after the delivery you asked for a free mattress pad or the 2015 mattress. I said ok to either request, and have not heard back from you, only to see this very unnecessary/unfair review. please contact myself Jeff Reynolds 905 895 0773 anytime so we can arrange what option you would Like.     bedroom set

    Not sure who this customer is, but if they would try and call our customer service line, and or communicate with my self the Owner, I would be happy to assist. Please note, when a customer has a delivery schedule, we give an estimated 4 hour window the day prior. We try our best to deliver during this time window, but sometimes we are late do to traffic or any other issues that can happen. We truly do care about our customers, but if I don't have a chance to make things right, how can we truly resolve any issues one may have. We have been business for 26 years and take pride in giving the best service/experience one could have. I apologize to this customer if our delivery service was not up to his or hers standards.

    Bought bedroom set

    My husband and I shopped around for a bedroom set and fell in love with one at another store but it was too expensive and we decided to wait. We then came across The Bedroom Shop in Newmarket and they had the same set at a much cheaper price. We bought it. When we received the bedroom there was slight damages on two pieces. This was no fault of The Bedroom Shop as the items were package really well. We called David and he replaced the items with no questions asked. He wanted us to be happy and we were thrilled at his excellent customer service. The Bedroom Shop cares about their customers and I would highly recommend them. I love my new bedroom and will definitely go back when I need more furniture. Rosa
