I had a new custom front door and sidelight installed last Friday. The guys showed up exactly when they said they would and did a great job removing the trim and my old front door and installing the new one and the existing trim. They were quick and did a great job with the installation and cleanup afterwards. I also used them 2 years ago to have my patio door installed and they did a great job there as well. Last winter, the handle on my patio door cracked and I called them to come by and check it out. I figured they would come by and order a new handle and then come back to re-install it but the guy showed up upon inspection with a new handle and installed it in minutes. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

We replaced 7 windows in our 1962 bungalow. Our experience from Colin's visits (and followup conversations), to scheduling, to install have been great! We are soooo pleased with the installation - Andre and his assistant were really clean and professional and did an excellent job! Very impressed with the company, the product and the service and would highly recommend Verdun to others and already have!

Have experienced three other window suppliers. Quality, service and price much superior, Chris in Sales and Andre and Gabriel on installation beyond criticism. Quality, price and competence outstanding. Added bonus for Verdun - Canadian manufacture. Canadian employees-doesn't get any better than this.

Very pleased with the service and quality of the product. Our salesperson was very knowledgeable and professional. The installers were great!! The prices were comparable to other companies but Verdun's reputation helped make the decision of choosing them fairly easy and I'm glad I did...the house looks great.

Excellent service and a pleasure to deal with this company. Installers arrived at scheduled time and were very friendly and courteous. Workmanship and quality of product was excellent. Installers both very competent and careful to ensure that the worksite was left as clean or cleaner than they found it. I would not hesitate to recommend this company or to deal with them again.

Two years ago, after comparing quality, warranty, service reputation and price offerings of 7 window companies in Ottawa, I chose Verdun to replace 3 large windows and a patio door in my 25-year old house. Although prices were more-or-less competitive, price was not my first criterion as I believe in the old adage that “you get what you pay for.” Warranty and service reputation won the day. As a local company I was also able to visit the manufacturing plant in Vars which I found well organized and clean…both of which are good signs of a quality product. As I consider myself to be fairly knowledgeable in home construction I was able to observe the crew as they went about their work. They were well organized, worked well as a team with no idle chatter and they knew exactly what they were doing and did it quickly…very professional. They cleaned up their work areas while they worked and again after they finished. From my initial meeting with the salesman to completion of the job itself I was extremely pleased… so pleased in fact that I had no hesitation in choosing Verdun to replace the remaining 10 windows in my house last month. Again the 2-man crew was excellent. If I had to make one suggestion however I would suggest that more time be taken in the installation of the inside moulding around the windows. The first job was fine but on the second there were a few gaps at the corners, some of the finishing nails used to attach the moulding were not sunk and, on a number of those that were, the visible indentation left by the nail head was not filled in (also would suggest fast-drying polly-filla be used as opposed to caulking). Minor stuff but its these little details that make a “nice” looking job, a “very nice” looking job. Having taken care of them, it’s now a very nice looking job. Thx.

We had a beautiful huge front window installed back in September and I just wanted to let you know that we were extremely pleased with the service and product we received from Verdun. We had gone to quite a few other places but we were extremely impressed with the customer service received from you from the beginning that we knew you were the ones to go with. We received a quote within an hour, we dropped into the show room/factory unannounced and we were greeted and invited on a tour. We were able to see exactly where and how our window would be made and we were very pleased with the quality. Our wait time was about 3 months I believe, which was great seeing as it is a custom window! The installers were nice, courteous and professional, and quick! The price was as quoted (I think a couple bucks cheaper even!). We will be doing the remainder of the windows within the next 2 years and we will definitely be using Verdun again. We recommend you to all our family and friends.

I learnt about Verdun Windows from both my contractor and colleague, who highly recommended this company. They are right! The price is the very competitive. It took a team of 6 folks for half day to install all windows in my house (25 windows). They started early and finished by 1:30 pm. They cleaned the worksite throughly and walk through the work with me. Extremely well done and I have not issues with them. I already recommended them to a few friends and would not hestitate to recommend it again!

Very happy with the service. We installed a front door and a set of patio doors. Professional, reliable and timely. There was one issue with the front door and it was corrected immediately.

Had six windows replaced in our home. Went out to four companies for estimates. Verdun were not the cheapest or most expensive but sales service at home and installation were excellent. Bit of a hiccup with the wrong screens fitted (half window instead of full) but no problem with having them come in right away and replace them. Good service, good installation, good warranty, good product. Very satisfied.
