Verdun installed a new front door and a new patio door on Thursday, November 8th. They arrived too early (6:30 a.m.) well before the scheduled start (8:00 a.m.). This created a problem with my townhouse neighbours as the noise woke them up. They completed the work quickly and it was done well, for the most part. However a service person had to come a replace a seal on the front door, which Verdun knew about. Why this was not fixed before installation I don't know. The service person also had to tidy-up the patio door install. BIG globs of insullation were left exposed on the outside. He did a very good job cleaning this up to my satisfaction. So far, we are very happy with the look and quality of the doors.

In early November we had Verdun Doors and Windows replace two sliding patio doors and nine original windows, as well as complete aluminum capping around the garage doors at the front of the house. Our experience with Verdun was completely to my satisfaction. The estimator Colin came to the house shortly after my call, was knowledgeable, offered good advice and provided a quote on the spot. We were concerned that these new windows would match (in exterior appearance) those that had already been replaced in previous renovations. Colin was able to offer options that made this possible. Verdun's price was significantly better than the competition and the quality of their windows appeared (to me) to be superior. Installation happened on schedule and the five man team led by Alex did a terrific job. They worked quickly, were careful to avoid little scrapes to my walls & floors, cleaned up in each room as the work was completed and did not appear to stop for extended breaks until the installation was completed. One of the windows had not been produced in the correct size, but the factory made a new one that morning and had it to my house for installation with the rest of the job. I found the entire experience with everyone I dealt with at Verdun to be professional, courteous and customer oriented. They really work as a team and seemed genuinely committed to customer satisfaction. I would recommend the company without reservation.

We recently had to replace our windows and opted to deal with Verdun Windows. Their sales representative Colin Etkins was knowledgeable, professional and always available to answer any question we had. The installation team headed by foreman Alex was most efficient and speedy. We would not hesitate to recommend the company and have nothing but praise for their employees.

We had a great experience with Verdun from start to finish. The sales associate was friendly and provided us with all the information we neede to make our decision. The installers (Serge and crew) knew exactly what they were doing. I would highly recommed this company to anyone.

My house is over 50 years old and still had the original windows. I talked to some friends about where to purchase windows and they suggested getting at least 3 estimates before deciding. Verdun was suggested. I went on the website and requested an estimate and received a phone call from Verdun that day. I got very busy and never got back to them (as well as the other two companies that called me back) About two weeks later, Verdun called me back to set up an appointment for the estimate. I was very impressed with their outreach. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and put me at ease. I had a thought about adding a bay window but the salesperson gave me different options as the bay window was quite expensive. We kept in contact through emails afterwards as I had follow up questions. The salesperson came along with the crew on the day of the installation to answer any other questions I may have had. I was very satisfied with the service. There was one error as two windows were mixed up and therefore opened from the opposite side than I wanted (casement windows) but it wasn't a huge deal to me.

Verdun Doors and Windows did an excellent job on the windows and flashing on my home! The two gentlemen Stephane and Jimmy worked through the rain and did not stop until the work was completed. The guys were on time and were very respectful of my older home, even allowing me time to to make a small repair to an older rotting sill while they worked on other windows.The windows are excellent quality with a wider depth in PVC for durability and strength. The flashing work was second to none, with some innovative ideas for some sloppy surrounding roof work done by another company. The caulking brand was top quality and really well done! Firstly, very impressed with the process for achieving the estimate of cost and work; secondly, the removal of old windows and installation of new windows was done extremely professional and the clean up was as impeccable. Verdun Doors and Windows replaced all the windows (12) and all the exterior doors (4) in our 25 year old single family home. They did a spectacular job and were complete professionals from start to finish. Dominic, our salesman, made the entire process easy and respected our ideas and questions. He explained everything involved and how his products would meet and exceed our expectations. He was also very accessible for the many questions we had before and after we signed our contract. Honestly, he was just pleasant to work with! Verdun went the extra mile in customer service. They delivered window casing samples to us so we could make sure they matched another renovation that was in the planning stage. They delivered the window and door casing for this project ahead of time so that we could pre-paint it. Most importantly, they told us WHEN they would deliver the casing and it arrived precisely at that time. This attention to small details is the sign of professional integrity. On the big day, Alex and his team arrived right on time (again, the attention to detail), installed everything in one day, and were highly personable and efficient. They happily answered my questions and treated our home with great respect. They covered all the areas they were walking through and working in. As they finished in an area, they cleaned it all up. When finished the whole project, they went over all the house and yard to ensure that it was completely cleaned up. They re-checked all the work they had done. This crew worked as a real team. We did not see them ever stop working all day long. It was most impressive. When they encountered issues (our case was a loose floor tile near the front door), they informed us promptly and presented an effective solution. We really appreciated the honesty and transparency. Nothing was covered up. In short, we were absolutely thrilled with our experience with Verdun Doors and Windows. We would heartily recommend them to everyone. Excellent quality installation done on schedule. Corrections made to an error in the order were made promptly and without hassel. Quality of windows appears to be superior and exterior finish excellent.

Over a period of two years we had 6 windows installed in a house that is approximately 160 years old. The salesman, Dale Murdoch, and workmen had excellent ideas to incorporate my wants for window functions. The installers were polite, efficient, and appeared to me to be knowledgeable. I was impressed by their clean-up after the work was done. The post installation ispection by the original salesman, Dale, was effective; he held to his word and was very reassuring. My husband and I dealt with him on the three separate orders we placed with this company.
